So far it has been fine but by the end of the month, management will be changing hands, they will be Meridian. I haven't heard good things about Meridian, but we will have to see how it plays out. So far though things have been in flux, I haven't seen a negative impact on care or upkeep of the facility to this point.

Staff slow to respond to resident call lights/lanyards.-Needs improvement Overall nice place and staff.

We used Emeritus at Pikesville for a brief rehab stay for a loved one, and while I thought they did a fairly good job overall I wasn't overly impressed. It seemed like it took a fairly long time before they got my loved one added to the rotation for their bathing and care schedule. It took longer than I would like before they cleaned her up after she arrived from the hospital.

have family members living at Provision. It's been an okay experience. However, one non-stop complaint is the food. It isn't the kind of complaint where food is too spicy or too much sauce on the fish. It's the basics they cannot seem to handle. Like consistent edible, healthy options. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of leadership or changes... The leadership, director level staff are plain inexperienced and cannot live up to the responsibility of their role. The fee at Provision is reasonable IF the food actually met the standards residents are promised in writing. Therefore, I can't recommend Provision if you need to rely on them for meals. When you have seniors in your life, and good, hard earned money is being spent on their care, one expects more when a challenge arises in their living community. (No reply from Provision is meaningful until some actual changes are made.)

Cleanliness has gone down since my mother first started living here 2+ years ago.Her room now has to be asked to be cleaned. Her caregivers are angels, besides a few rowdy exceptions, who are also new. I visit more at night and let me say dinner is horrible!! The \\chef\\ Marlon fights with me about what I would like for mom and it seems like the CNAs or nurse have to provide a dinner for her, as they go into the kitchen once I ask for an alternative! Although I can say I love the friendliness from the front office and the care staff, but like I said a few new exceptions are a little rowdy and rude to patients and family!! Activities are great, my mother is engaged and loves Michael.

The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Mom is getting very good care. Mom has complained about the food, but they just recently got a new cook and I think that has improved. Activities would be the one thing I would complain about. My mom can never find the activities that they say their doing. She would love to take part in the activities, but she can never find them, and wonders if the activities they advertise actually take place.

Both of my parents live here. The help would take my Mom to see Dad everyday. The aides and health care are Great. I live out of state and they notified me to update regularly, sometimes multiple times a week. My brother and I could not have chosen a better place. You get what you pay for. They need improvement in meals.

Dad has only been there seven weeks so it is hard to know how everything will work out. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the other clients accepted Dad right away. However, the food is cold, and not always appetizing. They are working on that and are changing the way they do food service in November so we are waiting for that to see how it goes. There have been some problems getting the daily service that Dad needs done in a timely fashion, so after meeting with the nurse and management we are trying to get that rectified. It is early days, so I don't wish to sound too harsh, when in fact we may be able to get it all worked out. Ask me to review again in a month.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are a nice size. We are disappointed with the food however. It is usually cold, which seems like a procedural error that could be remedied. There are so few things that the seniors get to enjoy, it seems hot food should at least be provided. It is early days yet, he has only been there a month, so maybe our opinion will change.

Friendly and clean facility with great administrative and care support staff.

The only thing that really bothers me about the place is the food. The quality of the food is very poor. Their attentiviness could be better in memory care. They could interact with them a little more.

I am generally happy with the care that my loved one is getting at Emeritus. However, I think the facility could definitely do a better job of keeping in touch with families and responding to family concerns. This seems to have slipped, particularly in recent months.

There are a couple of things I am disappointed in. We are there for memory care, they told me they never use psychotropic drugs, after speaking with the doctor, that's not true. The food is very high in carbohydrates with not much protein in it. As far as the staff is concerned, at first, there were some people left over from the old management that were good, and now there seems to be a bit of a turnover. They used to be Paradise and now they have new management as Encore, and they still have a ways to go to get the program together. I like the grounds, they have very nice grounds, and it's fenced so it's secure. Where we were before there was no fence so there was always a concern about memory care residents sneaking out. They seemed to have the attitude that it's not good to have a lot of medication, and that was very important to me.

The people were very helpful, during the short time we were there. There were some things that they weren't able to accommodate for, like rails on the bed. They were good while we were there, and they called us right away when there was a fall. It just wasn't the right place for our needs.

This had the look and feel of a nursing home. We were not looking for that type of environment.

They don't really deal with memory care, she was ok, but the caregivers there were not trained for memory care. They worked with her pretty well. They were mostly clean and friendly. I would use them again, if I had to use rehab again.

Staff is helpful and friendly. Common area bathrooms are not as clean as I would like. Activities are baseline, but my mom seemed to really enjoy the scenic drive through Seymour/Oxford. Some of the food is not the best quality, e.g., tomato rice soup, turkey cheese sandwich. Soup is watery and the sandwich is not substantial enough.

Everyone was very helpful

I thought this was nice, it would have been my first choice if I went the assisted living route. It just seemed bright and clean and just left a good initial first impression.

There are many things that are very nice here. But there are a couple of things that I complained about. When I moved in the shower stall was NOT clean. I complained and the lady (after cleaning it ) said "you mean you want the walls of the shower cleaned too". I know that I moved in on Sept.1 during a major holiday but things did not go smoothly, Starting Tues. things went much better. My apartment is nice, the people here are helpful and cheerful. I think that they could do a better job of cleaning( not only showers) But I do like it here. I had never seen this facility before I moved in. Food is much better than I had before
