Emeritus is a very friendly, well run facility. Tara Jalbert is a great spokeswoman for the company. The residents I spoke with are happy, the apartments I saw are very attractive and there are a lot of scheduled opportunities for residents to participate in if they choose.

We had to move my family member due to some psychiatric issues; we hope that once they get done with their treatment we will be able to move them back. It was a great place.

Another place we were impressed with, the facility was clean and the staff seemed really nice. The rooms were fine and seems to include the residents in a lot of activities. This will be a place we take my mom to see.

This was the first facility I visited, and it is the only one I have seen that provides everything I need on one site. I liked the campus and the staff, I was upset by the memory care ward, not by anything there--it was wonderful, but by the fact that I am going to need the care that is provided there. It was very serene and quiet well managed and peaceful. I don't think I could find better care at that point in my life when I reached it. It is just scary seeing what the future holds for me.

Susan was very informative and place looks and smelled clean. Residents looked comfortable. Saw rooms with and without furniture to get an idea what can fit. Dad liked it and would make a decision after a respite stay (June) if we can get it set up. Only problem not a front reception desk. And office spaces didn't really look over the front entrance.

I really liked director, she answereed my questions as they entered my mind,before i could ask them. the facility is really nice and I like the different wings having a theme. The rooms seem nice and bright. and the clients looked happy and comfortable.

Meadowmere Northshore is my 2nd choice at this point; but, my brothers will be touring there in the next couple of weeks.

Very nice. Rooms are nice size - a one bedroom deluxe would be perfect or a reg one bedroom. deposit to get on waiting list Refunded if you don't end up there. All levels - assessed and charged by month.

This was a very lovely facility and Director who we met with was very friendly and very thorough in her presentation of Emeritus. After talking with us and finding out our reason for moving our aunt she informed us that Emeritus rates were about the same, but gave us some great information concerning the veterans. She was a delight and everyone was very friendly to us.

Very convenient. More like a hotel, but rooms still nice. Price seems lower with similar care offerings.

6.0 miles (13 minutes) from our home. 2nd Assisted Living Facility facility we visted. The facility shares an entrance drive with a high-end residential neighborhood of 1 story zero-lot type homes similar to Dot's. All well maintained with expensive cars parked around the homes. No traffic concerns or about the neighborhood declining around the facility. The facility is all on one-story which is a benefit. Doesn't have a grand entrance as you enter into a large area that immediately opens to the dining area. We visited at lunchtime so we saw most of the residents. Most all were highly independent, dressed well and interacting with each other at the table areas. Caregivers were assisting some in and out of the area and they all knew and spoke with the director who was touring us. He did not call all of the residents by name though he did speak with them. Quality of facility and rooms were similar to the first facility but not quite as nice. Large common areas are used for activities and watching large screen TV. Level of care seems comparable to 1st facility, but less entertainment, not quite as fancy. Still nicer than what I was expecting. We were toured by Executive Director and he is very very knowledgeable of assisted living business and very caring of all residents. We toured several apartments (all nice) and met with a lady who kept talking about how wonderfull the place was. Her apartment was lovely with furniture she chose from her 10 room house. She stated she could have chosen any assisted living facilities in the area and chose here because it's most like living at home with an extended family and staff that love and care for you. Doesn't feel like you're in a hotel like other higher priced facilities. This facility is part of FiveStar Senior Living and pricing is mid-tier; no hidden costs. One time move-in fee is $1,000, but the director agreed to waive $500 because Dorothy's a vet.

Beautiful setting, rural and quiet. 75% of facility smelled of urine. The Memory Loss unit looked the best I've seen, all residents happy and participating in activities.

I stopped by Morningside of Jackson today on the way home from Memphis. The facility is basically a replica of what exists in Morningside of Franklin but lower priced. Very impressed by the Family feeling. Some of the furnishings in recreation areas were not as nice as Franklin (Fold-up tables & chairs that reminded me of school cafeterias, but clean and functional). The recreation area seemed smaller with smaller size TV. Studio and alcove (2 rooms)apartments seemed a bit larger with bigger closets. I especially liked the way the studio they have available has a back door that opens out into an enclosed courtyard. They seem to have more activites with bigger events than what Franklin showed us.

I really liked. The alsheimers unit was huge. Trying to remember size of rooms. I think they were small.

Very nice staff, facility is undergoing a remodel, which did not scare us away. The facility was well located and hidden from view and next to a pre-school. Amenities and rooms looked nice, and only worried about future care options. Would recommend this facility though
