We've used this place before on a temporary basis, and they've done a great job, When we needed a more permanent option for Mom we ended up choosing a different location. The care and staff here are great, but I thought the food left a lot to be desired, it's very institutionalized, bland and not a lot of variety. They also weren't quite as competitive with their pricing.

Everything seems satisfactory at this place so far. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and it is priced well compared to other similar locations. Mom does not need much care, and does not participate in the activities, but those appear to be fine as well. My one complaint is that the food is subpar, a lot of room to improve there.

This community was very clean, nice looking, and the staff were friendly. However we didn't like the feel of it, it was a bit impersonal and sterile feeling, and we were looking for something with a more homey feel for my mother-in-law.

I checked them out. It was real nice but they didn't have any openings at the time. I moved my mom into their sister memory care facility and if they operate just the way they do at the memory care then I can highly recommend them.

Everyone willing to work with us for the transistion for my father. All staff members friendly and helpful. Dad has only been there a week but so far everything seems to be moving smoothly.

Very nice, large studio apartments, many different floor plans. Close to shopping and bus transportation available.

This community was nice, but it was too independent for my mother with Alzheimer's. I also thought that it was a little to big.

Very helpful in moving in. Apartment was repainted, recarpeted, and cleaned. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The meals are acceptable, but not fantastic and could be improved. The overall facility is very clean.

The staff were very helpful up front when we moved my mother into Heartfields. About one week into her stay we had an incident where most of my mother's undergarments were missing. We escalated to the Heartfields management team and they resolved the problems. The good news is my mother's health has improved visibly since joining the community at Heartfields. She has dementia and had serious alzheimer related symptoms which prompted the family to move her to the Heartfields. Over the past two weeks my mother's memory and alertness have improved. She is adapting to the Hearfields community.

The care is good. My mom is going through an adjustment period. there's some adjustment need on both sides. Overall it has gone very well. They have lots of activities like spa days and social interaction, patio parties and they are working very hard with mom to take advantage of her past - they're letting her "teach" little reenactment activities. I would say overall she likes it there. She has a few issues but mostly when she's sun downing. Some of the aids do a great job and some need to improve. I would highly recommend Fox Hollow. The administrative staff does a really good job. I think some of the aids needs a little bit more education but they are working on that. I'm very happy with Fox Hollow and with mom being there. It is definitely the best fit for her.

It's all expensive but the value was good. My friend was there for a respite stay. He commented that the staff, the cleaning staff, came in I don't know if it was with out knocking, but if he wasn't there they would come in and didn't lock the door behind them. He felt like it was a hospital instead of his home where he can lock his door and know that all his things are safe.

The only thing my mother sort of doesn't care for is the food. It's probably a lot to do with that she's used to cooking her own food but they have a lot of fried food and that bothers her digestion. My mother doesn't participate in the activities. There's not really much of anything she's interested in. They do have a lot of activities, it's just that they don't particularly interest my mother.

It is a very nice place. The staff has been very supportive to our loved one. We have had no problems or issues with them at all. Our loved one has adjusted very well to the community. Their safety measures are very good and they provide 3 balanced meals a day. They check on the residents regularly and make sure they are meeting the resident’s needs. The always administer the medication properly and with everything together it just provides me great peace of mind. I would recommend them to anyone.

She moved in there back in June and only lived there for 5 days when she had to go back to the hospital and yesterday she was able to go back to Emeritus and she wanted to, it was all her choice. The unit we chose is on a corner with a lot fo natural light which is good for her eyesight and we were able to decorate it and hang up pictures so it looks like her place. As long as she does well we'll be great. As children, we want the best for our parents, or most of us do, and the location of this place was what she wanted and it's in a neighborhood that we're all comfortable with. There's no place you're gonna find thats gonna be perfect, you just hope you find the one that your parent likes the best. We're going to wait and see about the care, coming out of a rehab situation you have to get adjusted to being in an assisted living but they food has been very good and as long as they can give her the care she needs we'll be happy.

The staff here is really nice. The location of the community is very nice and has a nice setting. We were very happy with the location because of the convenience for our family. We did not choose this community because of its location but rather for everything else they offer. I would recommend this community to anyone.

It's my brother's mother-in-law that lives there. They like it very much. The problem is that she is waiting for her husband to come live with her. He's in a rehab facility and I don't think he'll be coming to live with her. She misses her home and stays in her room all the time. She's happy with the apartment itself. Deborah Parke, who I worked with from A Place for Mom, is golden. She is just a jewel! She is so helpful and went above and beyond answering my questions so she gets kudos too.

MIke Barr and Mike Ebenson were really great and you could tell they cared about their residents and facility. We were able to take my dad for a tour as well but felt this was not the best fit for dad since he is very alert and pretty independent still and we wanted to make sure he was going to be able to have good interaction with others. the facility was very nice and clean, staff were friendly and definitely appeared to like their work.

My mother was there. She's in nursing care now. The place was clean and the people were nice. She didn't participate in the activities so I don't know about those.

The staff I thought was wonderful, I really can't say enought about them, every single one of them were very friendly. I thought the care was okay, of course my mom was used to having care 24/7 before she moved in there so that was a big adjustment for her. For the most part they seemed pretty responsive, I think theres an adjustment period on both sides: she was getting her meds and she was being cared for but she wasn't getting her bathing and shampoo regularly. There was some confusion on the parts of the aids but they did eventually get it straightened out. She couldn't participate in the activities but fortunately she did have a lot of company and she did enjoy the women she ate her meals with; they tried to match them up with people that were compatible with them so that was nice. It's difficult for any family now knowing what to expect, we had a few bumps in the road but it was mostly an understanding between the staff and me.

Beautiful home and decor. Very feminine. Not very many men.
