We toured this community and the tour was good. The staff was friendly and they answered all our questions. The common areas were very nice but the community was too large to fit our needs.

Communication could be better between the staff and our family. I seemed to get different answers from different staff members and they are not always on the same page. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The value is good and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Willow Pointe because of the value for the money and the amount of activities that they offer was good for what she wanted to do. The pricing was a little more straight forward in the beginning here as well rather than some of the others that we saw. The size is right for what we were looking for, it is a smaller community. The room sizes are very nice. I would recommend to others.

It is a little expensive for what you are getting such as food prep. The extra care that my loved one receives is good, and they are happy here. The grounds are well kept and very inviting. Anyone I've talked to have been friendly. Since Charter has taken over, the communication hasn't been as good. They have been slow to get paperwork updated, and information about COVID.

I'm satisfied with Charter overall. Compared to other places we visited, I like they way they talk to the residents here. They talk to them like human beings and really seem concerned about them. I know that my loved one is safe, being fed three meals a day, and has a warm place to sleep. I wish I could continue to care for him myself, but I have peace of mind and can sleep at night knowing that he's well cared for here. The care does depend on what day you go and which caregivers are there. Some are so much better than others. There's a new administrator who we've not been able to talk with yet. But the people we deal with daily have all been pretty good. The food looks and smells very good, and the staff tell me he often askes for seconds. I know the staff helps our loved one color and draw a lot, and I believe they have a good routine for activities.

Everyone was very nice. The main caregiver was good and I liked her. The community was comparable in some aspects to Sunrise. Our experience was during the pandemic and short time period.

We did tour the Morningside of Williamsburg and we thought it was a good community, but at the time it was just not what our loved one needed.

[name removed] WAS WONDERFUL! IT HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT MOVE IN FOR [name removed] DUE TO COVID AND THE DEATH OF MY HUSBAND. [name removed] AND THE STAFF HAVE TRIED TO DO AS MUCH AS CAN BE DONE DURING THESE TROUBLING TIMES. I DO FEEL [name removed] IS BEING TAKEN CARE OF WELL. ANYTHING WE HAVE ASKED WAS WORKED OUT PROMPTLY. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE TO HELP ME. THE FAMILY IS JUST WAITING TO BE ABLE TO COME IN AND VISIT WITH [name removed]. WE HOPE THAT WE BE VERY, VERY SOON!

They have great activities at the community, but our loved ones just does not participate in them. We would recommend this community to others, our only problem would be the communication. Sometimes we have issues going back and worth which could absolutely be improved.

[names removed] were very responsive. We did virtual and in-person tours. The drawback is that the community is only offering face-to-face visits with loved ones two days a week for 30 minutes.

The ratio between residence and staff is very good. There spend alot of time with the residence. The staff is friendly and easy to work with and my loved one is well taken care of. I would recommend this community to others

So far it has been a great experience and we have had no issues. I would recommend them to others looking, considering the pandemic especially they have been really good about things.

I thought for the most part The Social was really great. The area it is in is great, the staff to patient ratio was good since it was a smaller community, and the activities director was good at encouraging my mom to participate. The staff members here were always friendly and helpful as well. The only issue we had was towards the end, we did have some problems with communication and no one offered any condolences or next steps except for one of her nurses, so that was disappointing to us.

With all the challenger that we faced during COVID, I am please with the care that my mother has received from the Cottages of Perry Hall. I am notified if there are problems and he staff has been very helpful. The marketing director and activities director have answered any questions or concerns that we have had. I look forward to being able to visit in person, not just outside. My mother seems to like the facility and is meeting the other residents and participating in activities that have started up.

Our loved one has a really nice sized apartment, his is the only one that size. Overall the apartments are a decent size, and the community is located not far from a major hospital. We would recommend this community to others.

We chose Morningside of Shiloh because of the affordability, the friendliness of the management, and it was shaped rectangular, so she could not get lost. They had a better value for the money compared to some others that we looked into. She had a nice big room with a private bathroom. The only issue we had was the temperature, sometimes it was too hot or cold for her. I think the management staff was pretty responsive, but we did have some issues with the night time staff. Overall, I would still recommend this community to people who are more independent.

We chose The Cottages of Fox Lake because they had a special unit for Alzheimers which is what we needed. The room sizes here are average compared to others we saw. There have been no complaints about the food, I would say it is above average. It is a very convenient because we are close and the grounds are very well kept. I would recommend to others.

I have been very happy with the response to covid-19 outbreak that the facility has taken. I feel my mom is kept safe. There have been times I was concerned and these were addressed immediately. Thank you for your continued care.

We haven't been able to go back and visit since March due to COVID. We initially had some reservations about our loved one fitting in, as well as figuring out the amount of memory care she would need. At this point today we are pleased that we put her into memory care versus assisted living. Our loved one has rented what would be two rooms, so for one person it is like a double room which is good. She has a little living room and a bedroom that are separated by a wall. The single spaces in memory care are more like studio apartments. The rooms that are provided on the assisted living side were more of what we were looking for, but overall we are happy. When our loved one moved in at the end of February she really enjoyed the food. In June she had a couple of falls where she spent several weeks in a skilled nursing facility. While she was there she has to be isolated where there was no community dining, she had to eat in her room by herself. During those weeks she had lost some weight. Once she came back to Charter community she was able to put back on that weight she had initially lost, which we were thrilled about.

I have lived here a year. I like the staff. I like all the CNAs but [name removed] is my favorite and [name removed] at the front desk. [Name removed] is another CNA i like. They all can't do enough for you.
