The people are very friendly, and it's a very clean facility. It's more of a family atmosphere. As far as outings, they told us that if you needed to go to a specific shop, just let them know a couple of days in advance and they would go. But that hasn't been the case. They do still go on outings, but not based on requests.

The tour was lovely and the gal giving us the tour was great. They do have a beautiful courtyard and the residents rooms open up to it. When we were touring though we did not see many residents out at all and no one was utilizing the courtyard. It was just a little more depressing than some other places we looked into.

I visited twice before I placed my mother here, each time I was impressed with the staff members, they are very engaged with their residents and knew them all by name. You can tell they really care. I would recommend and already have.

This was a very good location. This facility has very good reviews and it was a lovely facility. We were stuck between this facility and another one and we just so happen to go with another. They were very friendly people.

Our family had an in person tour and Bartlett is a converted hotel so the layout was really nice. However, the rooms were like a hotel suite, very small. They did not offer full sized kitchens, one room we saw just had a microwave and two-burners, and did not have enough room for a washer and dryer. If the accommodations would of worked out here, this would of been our top choice because we really liked the staff.

Our loved one was there for respite care and during her stay the community was kept spotless clean. Everyone was extremely friendly even on the first day we got there, everyone from the house keeping to the maintenance team came and welcomed our loved one. Our loved one tends to be a picky eater but overall the meals were excellent. They did have activities going on for those who could and wanted to participate in them. However the only negative we had, was when we were moving out our loved one the medical aid came by with all of our loved ones medication for us to sign off of and take home. Not even an hour after getting home, they called us to see if another patients medication got put into the bag and in fact there was another residents medicine. My husband drove back to the facility to return to medication but the medical aid left for the day and no one else knew what was going on. Also we later founded out not all of our loved ones medication was put into that bag either.

The staff members have been very good to our family so far, and after touring three other communities we liked the size and layout of these apartments the best. Also they seemed to of had everything our loved one was going to need at an affordable and reasonable price.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, we weren't able to have a meal so were not sure about the food, but the staff did seem mostly friendly. visibly we could see challenges with their maintenance team. The apartment living situation seemed barren and not the best fit for our loved one. It was one room with a shared bathroom.

The Cottages community is very well kept and the staff member are extremely friendly. I have been able to see some of the lunches and dinners and they look to be pretty good. Our loved one is on the memory care side, and while the activities are good I do think those could use a little improvement. However I do understand they are getting a new activities person so hopefully those improvements start to happen.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, and our experience was good. We were only able to see half of the community because the other half was under renovations but the person who gave us the tour was extremely nice.

This is the best place for my loved one. The community has helped my loved one get stronger since the beginning of their stay. The friendliness of the staff stands out to me. The staff are responsive to questions and concerns, and typically respond within 24 hours. They have activities available for the memory care side of the community.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The price, care, and cleanliness are all impressive to us. I wish they had more activities for the residents for the residents to participate in. The other addition would be a church service on Sundays again.

The staff was super. If we had a need, we could just press the button and they would come. They were very attentive, and they were great to our loved one and to our family. The other residents were super as well. They were very friendly to our loved one, and I felt like she was really hitting her stride and getting to know everybody before her health took a turn for the worse. The only cleanliness issues we noticed was a couple of centipedes during the Springtime, but we told the aide and they sent the maintenance man to take care of it right away. At the end, we had a bit of a problem where the aids weren't coming in every two hours like they told our family they would. They thought that if one of the family members was there that the aides didn't need to come in. But when we addressed it with them, they were very responsive and accommodating to our concern. That night at suppertime we had four aides in the room and ready to help. All of the aides I interacted with were very friendly and kind. I understand the issues they face with understaffing and not always having the help that they need. The food was okay overall, although the desserts were very good. I think they could have done a better job of letting the residents know what the menu was going to be for the week, and also making them aware of alternatives at each meal. They did have a menu on the table that the residents could order from, but the residents didn't seem to know it was there. And that might have been due to memory issues on the resident end. They have two different dining rooms, one for assisited living and one for independent, and then one kitchen that serves both. I wasn't there for a lot of the activities, but my loved one seemed to enjoy the activities she participated in, and they had some singers come in every once in a while for entertainment. For what our loved one was getting, I feel like it was a pretty standard value. The public area décor was a little dated, but she had a very nice room that was like a studio apartment, three meals a day, and good medical attention.

Overall, it's very good. We like the people. They have a good attitude and mean well. They try hard. The care plan is good and they have outstanding people, but they've been a little inconsistent at times, although nothing major. Things like they don't make the bed every day, and they've have some staff turnover. So I would say their overall supervision or training is a little lacking.

We chose Charter Senior Living because of its convention location, the appearance of the facility, and the sales pitch from the staff members. The room sizes here are good. The food started out at a 5 when she first got here, but the main chef left and the inexperienced staff were doing the cooking. I spoke to her this week and she said a new cook is starting this week and hoping the quality will improve. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

We toured Dominion Village and it was a very nice facility. It is 2 stories so she would have had to use the stairs or elevator all the time which would have been hard. Also, this was during covid and people were going in and out all of the time so we had some reservations. They had a memory care unit but it was not attractive.

Morningside is an older more worn facility but it is still very nice. We were really impressed with the shape of the building, it is an O shape with a large center atrium for residents. One thing we did not like was that there was no carpet, it was all cold concrete floors.

Beautiful facility. [name removed] was bubblly and happy very informed and could answer all of our questions.

Really nice area of town. This facility felt like home, nice front porch, numerous separate areas inside to sit and do things. Our contact person knew most if not all of the residents. All our questions were answered. It was a really positive tour.

We toured this community and the tour was good. The staff was very friendly and they answered all our questions. The pricing was higher than other communities in the area.
