My mother-in-law needed a place to live after suffering a fall on her 94th birthday. The Cottages was a wonderfully friendly and caring place for her.

We placed my elderly cousin at Brookdale for a few months while we were planning her move to a continuing care retirement community. She has been very happy with the facilities, staff, and activities.

Moved my 92 year old mother to Bartlett almost a year ago and we both love it. It’s independent living but staff is always willing and able to provide help when needed. Resort is beautiful and the newly renovated dining room is simply stunning... magazine worthy. So very happy that A Place for Mom introduced me to Bartlett.

My mother has been living at Morningside of Shiloh for the past 6 years. It was the best decision to move her there, as she's happy. The administrator, [name removed], is fantastic. She is definitely a people person and takes great care of the residents. [Name removed] is very approachable and if you have a concern, she gets it resolved quickly. The dining room offers wonderful meals which I can personally vouch for. The activity director, [name removed], always has a smile on her face and is eager to offer entertainment for the residents. Bingo, Family night, ice cream at the White Cottage, social hour with cocktails and many other activities are offered to the residents. Morningside also offers a van service to take residents to and from doctor visits, Walmart and other activities. [Name removed] is the super friendly driver who takes them where they need to go. The staff is very friendly and caring . If you are looking for a great assisted living center for your loved one, I highly recommend Morningside of Shiloh.

Greetings To All Considering Morningside of Shiloh, As a family member of one of the long time residents, I thought it could be helpful to provide an observer perspective. My mother has lived at the facility for 4+ years and she LOVES it at Morningside! All of the staff (administration, nursing, care-givers, maintenance, kitchen, etc.) really focus upon building community and encourage everyone to be a part of the Morningside Family! Their administrator, [name removed], is to be commended. Her commitment to excellence is very transparent and consistent. She truly cares about each resident and his/her individual needs. She is an advocate for the residents and makes it her mission to provide for their needs. She excels in her position. (Truly, my mother has been the recipient of such on a few occasions/ Miss Jules has been tremendous!) [Name removed], the office manager is a dynamo! She will go to bat for you whenever there is a need. Miss Janet and the nursing staff do an outstanding job, faithfully attending to all medical needs of the residents. [Name removed] drives the bus! She is the go to person when anyone needs a Wal-Mart run, has an appointment, or an outing is on the daily schedule. And of course, [name removed] will see to it that any maintenance needs are not only met ASAP, but done very well! I would be remis if I did not mention [name removed], the activities director, for she makes things tick! A very creative, warm and caring person and a former educator, she loves each resident like he/she were her own kids. [Name removed] is devoted to making the experience fun, motivational, and personalized as needs present. She works extremely hard to provide a variety of offerings year round that stimulate the mind and encourage memory retention. I could go on and on... Suffice it to say that all of the staff are all very interested and are dialed in to supporting the mission at hand. Finally, the facility itself is well managed and very clean. All the meals are well prepared and according to Mom, "delicious!" Morningside of Shiloh is truly a win-win for our family! This experience has been a tremendous blessing for my mother and I can honestly say she is THRIVING in this wonderful environment. I am so thankful to God that she is very well cared for, happy, and delighted to live at Morningside. I highly recommend this facility because everyone cares! I encourage you to seek out a tour, ask numerous questions, and discover some of what I have found for yourself!

This is a great place, but I find that it works best when the client WANTS to move in and Decides to make this "Home". When it is forced, it is always more difficult and easy to find faults. The employees love and care for their residents is beyond any comparison in the area. The care offered here goes far above and beyond the requirements for an "Independent Living Facility".

My 91 year old Mom has resided at Dominion Village of Williamsburg for a year and a half. She began in Assisted Living and transitioned into Memory Care. I have been very happy with Mom's care. The staff know their residents. They know their habits, quirks, needs and personalities. They also get to know the family. Deirdre, Jessica and Yolanda are excellent leaders. And they are always accessible. My Mom qualified for their WWII widow discount, which was very helpful. There are always choices for meals and the meals are good and served on time. Rooms are kept clean. There are also activities appropriate for the age and condition of the resident. I feel very fortunate to have found Dominion Village for Mom.

This place is an assisted living facility and it’s very nice. We visited on a Sunday for a few reasons: I wanted to see if I’d be able to get in or if the residents could get out, I wanted to see what activities would be available for them or if there were people just sitting around. It was very quiet and there were several people sitting around. I didn’t see anyone that worked there, but it is assisted living so they can just come and go and do whatever they want. My dad had been there for a birthday party for a gentleman that turned 100 and they did a flag folding for him with the American Legion because he wanted to be able to see it while he was alive. They have birthday parties once a month for those who have birthdays during that time, as well. Overall, it was a nice place but we chose a different community.

I have been to Summit View many times over the last few years visiting a resident there and I have never seen any of the things the other reviewers report. I have been very impressed with the staff, the activities, and the facilities. Go see for yourself.

I visited my friend's family as they brought their father here. The facility was so clean and the staff was so nice. RSD [name removed] was so caring. She was friendly and caring, we felt like we were leaving [name removed] with another member of the family. I can't say enough great things about this nurse. Anyone would be honored to have her take care of their loved one.

My Mom has been living in Brookdale for nearly two months. I looked at a number of facilities and was personally in the business a number of years ago. I knew what I wanted for my Mom and Brookdale delivered. Mom is very happy the staff if delightful, my heart is happy because my Mom is happy. They say there is no place like home... until you call Brookdale home.

My loved one has recently moved into this community and so far we are pleased with how things are going for him . He has really been enjoying the dinning experience and the three meals they serve them throughout the day. He also has been participating in some of the many activities which I am impressed to see him doing. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested.

I have not visited Morningside in person but my family tells me my mother is doing well here. They tell me the staff is very kind and attentive.

I sincerely appreciate the time they spent helping us with our goals and their recommendations on helping our father to assimilate into their care facility. Their advice was very helpful and gave me a new perspective on available care for our father. They were very helpful in easing the transition of moving him into the facility. Their staff has been exceptionally helpful in caring for him. We have been very surprised and pleased with his reaction to living there. They have definitely gone above and beyond to make him feel at home with the special care and patience that they have shown him. It is obvious to us that they care for the people that they are taking care of

My husband came in to Meadowmere for respite care while I was out of town for 13 days. He is a tremendous fall risk. I (We) felt very confident that he would get the care he needed in the facility and in the staff. They were excellent with him in all areas of care. Taking him to meals, activities and helping him as needed. He participated in activities and got some of the socializing that he does not get at home. We are grateful to the whole team at Meadowmere from front office to the kitchen, wait/kitchen staff and all nursing staff. I would bring it back again! THANK YOU!!

The administrative staff of Morningside Washington, IL goes above and beyond to ensure needs are met for your loved ones. Scott went above and beyond to assist moving my parents from their apt in morton to the assisted living and then after mom passed he and his team promptly moved my dad to a unit that better fit his needs. I would highly recommend for those who could benefit from having meals and housekeeping needs met. I wish I would have thought of this much sooner as mom would have loved this years ago! The management team is committed to helping you stay in the home and out of dreaded nursing homes.

When we arrived at Brookdale, [Removed] was there to greet us with a smile! She was upfront with pricing in the Independent Living area vs. Assisted Living. She was also correct about the food being fabulous! My mom chose to move to Brookdale, and so far she's very happy.

Great Staff,good meals and pleasant surroundings give this Senior Living center great marks.

This seemed to be a good fit for our mom. All her needs are being met.
