Facility is clean, caregivers are truly invested in the daily needs of the residents. The staff provides daily activities to keep everyone engaged but at the same time if they want to opt out they can. Nursing staff is very approachable and open to discussions and input of what you notice about your loved ones. The place is great overall very responsive and respectful group of people working here.

So far our friend is very happy at Charter of Cleveland. His adjustment period seemed much shorter than we expected!

We're very pleased with The Cottages of Fox Lake. It's a very welcoming community. The staff are friendly. And they provide good healthcare to my loved one.

My sister, whose needs I manage, has been at the Linden for over a year now and absolutely loves it! When we first walked in, the common area was bright, modern and welcoming. Activities are varied and my sister easily found her own level of comfort with exercise classes, resident meetings, entertainment and planned outings. Recent labor shortages have been generally well handled by a responsive staff, although some housekeeping details have been less than desired: sticky counters & doors in the kitchenette, etc. Admittedly, my sister can be messy! Meals have recently improved with more healthy options. Any COVID cases are reported quickly and transparently, with all testing and quarantine plans clearly outlined. The grounds are beautiful and the residence is conveniently located near both the village of Woodbridge and city of New Haven.

All of the staff is friendly and they make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and [name removed] the activities director is amazing. I’m so glad we moved my Dad here. He is very happy here and our family is relieved Dad is in a safe and caring community! I would give 10 starts if I could!

My father in law was moved here from (name removed). Here he has been receiving very good care. All staff members have been so friendly and eager to help. They check in on him often and he likes the meals they provide.

Cedarhurst was very nice and was our first choice but we were told they would not take government funding and we didn't want to have to move if funds ran out in the future. The places may all have similar issues. Things we have experienced can be hidden in a 1 hour visit. Hard to say if somewhere else is better without actually having to stay there. We ultimately made the decision based on location to our home for convenience and we were under a time crunch. That was probably not the best plan. Had a chance to observe good interactions between staff and residents and they had recently done some remodeling that was nice.

Dominion Village has been great - we're very happy with them. It's a smaller facility without much resident turnover. The staff were very kind and accommodating with move-in and getting my loved one settled. They keep the facility clean and are very careful with Covid precautions. We've had a few issues here and there with the care, which really just depends on the aide (some are better than others). Some of the top level administrative staff have left, so I'm not sure what's going on there. But we haven't had any problems so far. My loved one thinks the food is terrible, but I think it looks okay. I think she's just used to homecooked meals. Overall we're very happy with Dominion Village. And I would recommend them to other families in the area.

Charter provides exactly what my loved one needs at this time. The staff are attentive and responsive to the family's questions about our loved one. There are three meals a day and there are choices for the residents to choose from. The community is good at creating events, socialization opportunities, music, and more to assist the residents in coming together to enjoy activities.

The community is quick to acknowledge any of the family's concerns. They have friendly and helpful staff. This feels like a home away from home for my loved one. It would be nice for the community to spruce up the surroundings a bit with some paint to cover up any patch areas.

I took a tour of the facility for my loved one and was very impressed with the staff and the feeling of dedicated love and companionship with the residents there it is a great comfort to know they are in good hands.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was just wonderful. What it ultimately came down to was that our loved one new people at another facility and to her that was very important.

They are very caring. Mom was accepted the first day she was here and the staff were always checking on her making her feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend Cedarhurst of Troy to others.

We chose Charter Senior Living because they were an exclusive dementia care facility vs having a separate dementia care area. The staff were extremely helpful in getting my dad in and he was a difficult admission. They really worked with me. The executive director and main sales person were awesome. They have a new director [name removed] and she walked us through everything and made it an easier transition. They were all very compassionate. I would recommend the facility to others.

It was our first choice. It was a convient location. It was awesome. The staff was great. It was an older facility.

Overall experience was for sure wonderful. So glad she spent her last time there. Most caring place I have seen. I will give cleanliness a 4. Friendliness a 5 extended to family as well. Care services far above any place else I have seen. She responded so much better to their care. Meals were like a family gathering with staff joining in to make them easier. Staff were more like her friends and mine too. This facility was the only one she would participate in activities. I will give it 4 only because there was so much she wasn't able to do. Honestly, we know all these places are expensive but I really didn't mind paying for the care she got here. I'm going to say 4 just because I wish all assisted care places would try to be more accessible price wise

Beautiful. Clean and new. Great room. My father has a tv, recliner and is sleeping on his dad's twin bed. Great bathroom facilities. Small kitchenette. He can keep drinks and snacks.

Everyone has been so welcoming to my parents. They are very helpful, fun, and friendly. everyone I've met has been so friendly. They are helpful and patient. My parents are in the independent living side, but they like having assistance just a click away. I haven't had a chance to eat there yet, but my mom tells me some of the items they get and she has no complaints. My parents attend happy hour regularly as well as other activities offered. They have NEVER been this social! Comparable to what my parents were paying before.

I thought Cedarhurst of Madison was very very nice. There was a receptionist right when you walk in (not all places have that). The person who gave us the tour was well known and friendly with all of the residents. And she gave me a lot of hints and tips, even though my mother couldn’t go there due to her condition.
