My loved one and us received the absolute best care the kindness and compassion Charter and all their staff showed us for almost 2 years is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. Best place ever. Can't thank you enough for leading us there. Such a blessing. You have a wonderful company and staff.

Staff and nurses were all very friendly, welcoming, and informative. Communication was excellent and they a great job coordinating two adult seniors, one with a terminal brain cancer and the other with Parkinson's with dementia. Plus their cat. They treated them with great care and informed us of everything along the way, including a transition from a regular room, to separate beds, and eventually to memory care where my mother spent her final days with hospice. I didn't really know what to expect from senior care as I didn't have much time to figure it out. Ultimately, we choose Charter because of cost and because of the staff and nurses. Everyone was so friendly, and helpful during and extremely difficult and unexpected time.

I'd say it's good. Always friendly folks and we like that we can bring the dog on visits.

If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and wonderful place for your loved one that needs care beyond what you’re able to provide at home don’t look any further. The Cottages provides a beautiful setting and a home-like feel, but it’s the staff that make this the gem that it is! Such wonderful, caring people that make you and your loved one feel like they are family. We’ve been with The Cottages and this team for >2 years and I can’t say enough about the place and the awesome staff!

My experience has been exceptional. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, providing personalized care to each resident. The facilities are immaculate and beautifully maintained, with a variety of activities that cater to all interests. The sense of community here is truly heartwarming, making it feel like home from day one. Meals are delicious and nutritious, and medical support is readily available. This facility offers peace of mind for families and a vibrant, fulfilling life for residents. Highly recommended!

[name removed] has to one of the most professional people I have ever interacted with. Super knowledgeable about her role there and always seems very confident in our conversations. People like her are the reason certain places stay afloat and keep others not dreading to do business. I cannot speak highly enough. I wish there was more praise someone can do than fill out a review.

When faced with such a daunting decision about where to place your loved one, I agonized over the poor quality of some of the homes I visited. At the last minute, my husband looked up The Cottages of Fox Lake because it so nearby. I can't tell you enough what a great decision it was. I received a callback literally within minutes, went to visit and signed all the papers. My sister is not just living there, she's thriving! The residents are always engaged in music, games, reading the daily news, taking walks, going on field trips and they are free to express their individual personalities. This place is clean, and the residents are known by name. It's a small group setting so friendships are made easily. I love this place and all the people who lovingly help the residents.

I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a place to live as well as I would consider living there myself if I was at this stage in my life.Food is good, staff is excellent and considerate to the residents, plenty of activities and I consider this place top rated.Thank you to all that work there and assist the residents.

5 stars for all - although I would prefer to be paying less. The facility is very clean and friendly. Room sizes are adequate - though they could use more outlets.

Really love the caring nature of the staff at Charter. They are very accommodating and thorough with the residents. [name removed] at the front desk is incredible. She is focused, bright and extremely helpful with any of your family concerns. I love seeing her at the front desk. She has helped so much with our family adjusting to assisted living. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness.

What our family likes the most about Charter Senior Living is the executive director is very proactive and willing to do what it takes to resolve issues. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I would recommend without hesitation. The amount of care received , especially for the cost, is exceptional. My mother is blind and therefore a high maintence resident. The staff is very friendly and appear to enjoy their jobs and care about the residents. I also have access to the administration and medical team. by phone , text or email. Which is very comforting as well as efficient manner of communication.

From the beginning to the end of the process of moving my Mother in law from Georgia to Maryland was as smooth as it gets! They were so helpful and did so much for us. They are very informative and knowledgeable as to helping us and leading us through. Highly recommend The Cottages of Perry Hall. Our mom loves it there. ??

We are so thankful to have found Walking Horse. Everyone is so kind and engaging. The building is very secure and staff is always present. The decor is modern and we found everything very clean. Our mom is in the memory care unit and everyone is so lovely. They keep her very engaged and very safe.

We chose KindCare at Bristol because it is a brand new facility, cleanliness, location despite cost and initial "community fee" we were charged. Also, memory care unit is specific to my mother's needs. Staff appear to be very nice and attentive to the residents and family members.

The facility is spectacular. The food was great and the staff were very friendly great place for your loved ones.

I love the “hands on” relationship with the staffers. [Name removed], is the Nursing dept, has been most helpful and supportive. I can’t say enough things about her. Always return runs my phone calls, answer questions and gives information that I’ve requested. [Name removed] in physical therapy, also has been quite helpful with my mother and keeping me informed with my Mother's well being. [Patricia], who sometimes has brought medications with water for Mom, always comes in upbeat and with a smile. Makes my mother and I happy and at ease with her transition into a living facility. I love the pictures of my mother taking rides in the golf cart, and dancing with the Red Hat Ladies. She has found new energy and her zest for life! I am grateful. The only concern I have is that I have requested an accounting of all Mom’s monthly expenses. At this time I have received no information, or a return phone call. No return email, text or phone call is concerning. Even with this, mom’s happiness is A+.

They are caring and very involved and my dad's care. Always accessible. [name removed] and [name removed] were so welcoming. I would highly recommend charter and a place for mom!!
