It's a very nice facility. The people were awesome. It's extremely clean and the food was better than most other facilities'. [name removed] was kept clean and in clean clothes. I would certainly recommend Charter Senior Living. [name removed] was only moved because of her inability to maintain the self-pay situation.

Staff is great, can't speak for anyone else, haven't heard of any staff problem. They all seem to care, very helpful and patient with residents. Food seems great, no complaints from mom, she has gained weight there so I'm guessing she's eating well. They really didn't get involved with the move in, if we needed anything they were very helpful. Communication is very good and housekeeping is excellent.

We really liked the way that the Cottages is set up with the four (4) separate cottages (that are all set up to look the same) and residents are evaluated to make a proper fit based on their needs. Each cottage has their own living room, dining room and kitchen it makes for a comfortable and more intimate setting. The staff is great and they really get to know each resident and their individual personalities. There are plenty of planned activities and ability to mingle with the other residents in the other cottages as well. My mom loves all her new friends and the ability to keep busy with things she likes doing. So glad to have found the Cottages of Fox Lake to be a perfect fit.

The staff has been very kind and helpful to us and our Dad.They stay in touch with us and visit with us when are there. We couldn’t ask for anyone to do anything better. I realize that Dad had rather be at home but that isn’t possible. I wish that he would participate in some of the many activities that they offer. I think he would be better satisfied if he would but everybody is doing an amazing job

Fox Hollow is a wonderful place to call home. My brother was there for over 4 years. He had multiple health challenges . The staff were kind, hard-working and very competent. The Director has been there for many years and the rest of the staff have been there for long tenures as well. It is really a family atmosphere. There are many activities and fun excursions.

The staff at Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest was amazing. My father was there for a brief time. The level of care he was given was exceptional. Everyone at Charter was professional, positive, and very caring with our father and family. We were so grateful that our dad was able to be in hospice at this facility. They worked well with our hospice nurse and CNA to deliver skilled and compassionate care. We felt supported and well informed during this extremely difficult time.
