My family member is thriving at Woodholm Crossing. Lots of activities. The food is excellent with a variety of food to choose from. We received a tour with [name removed]. I can't thank everyone enough at how great they are.

No cooking. No cleaning. Plus great friends!

The live enrichment director [name removed] brings so much life to the building. Everyone loves her!

Very good overall experience. Everyone has been kind to both my mom and the family. The cleanliness has never be an issue and everyone is friendly. There have been a couple of times that I could not find a caregiver or any staff, used the button and it was a slow response. Wasn't an emergency and they likely were busy but concerned me if it had been an emergency... Mom is eating and seems to like it. We would like to see more stimulation and variety. There is also a calendar but it doesn't seem to be followed regularly. They occasionally have a big event which is always well put together and fun. I really only checked out a couple of close places (I try to stop by daily) but the cost seemed in line with others.

I am very happy with the care they provide for my step father!! They are very friendly, caring and go above and beyond! The apartment is so spacious and allows him all the comfort of home. Everyone there is amazing.

Very clean community friendly staff. Good food accommodating to my friends needs and wants. Highly recommend. When its time for me to move into assisted living it'll be Southern Pines!

Our experience with Charter @ Woodholme was top-notch from day one. [name removed] in admissions, was courteous and knowledgeable. The staff in the memory care section where my MIL was living, were fun, caring, and THERE!! Charter had STAFF, which impressed me the most, in comparison to the rehab facility she was in prior to. No place is perfect, but Charter was perfect for us. I'm definitely recommending this facility for memory care. They were truly a Godsend for our family.

This wonderful community looks and feels like historic downtown Thomasville. From its friendly staff and people to its southern charm it truly is different and stands alone from other place I have visited.

5 for sure. I visit weekly. They do his Laundry. I Like to do extra cleaning in the bathroom with Spray Bleach and Lysol.. I'm a little OCD. 5 for sure. Staff keeps me informed. I Like to be present and visible. I feel that's the only way any Facility will be on the Straight and Narrow!!

The single most important matter for my mother has been this: Charter saved her life. Any other issues, such as the quality of the food or the activities, pales in comparison. In early [date removed], it looked like my mother was doomed to living out her days in a nursing home. At first, Charter (then called Cedarhurst), rejected her. A week later, on re-evaluation, they accepted her. Over a period of months, my mother has gone from needing a high level of care to fair amount of independence. She can get around her apartment in a walker, and her life is unmeasurably better than it would have been under any alternative circumstance. All the credit goes to an excellent, friendly, and caring staff. All that said, Charter (when it was Cedarhurst) was quite obviously going through a large number of administrative issues. Things have gotten better in this regard with the new management company. However, the communication back to me from a couple of key people has not been what it should be. The food is fine as institutional food goes. I wonder why institutional food cannot be better. Activities are fine but they don't fit with my mother as well. She would benefit from concerts, presentations on artistic subjects, and things like that.

Toured with [name removed] . She was great. Cottages are in good condition and accommodating. Was able to negotiate on price. This place checked all of the boxes in terms of care. Meal plans. Works with budget. Medication management

The placement didn't workout since [name removed] needed nursing home Alzheimer's care. However, what we liked the most about this community was the cleanliness and the meals and dining. Based on the experience we had, we would recommend this community to other families.

I can't say enough good things about The Cottages! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt the warmth and care that makes this place truly special. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents are not just well taken care of, but truly happy and engaged. The facilities are clean, modern, and beautifully maintained, making it a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone. My loved one has found not just a place to live, but a true home with a wonderful community of friends. The activities are varied and thoughtfully planned, catering to all interests and abilities. The Cottages has given us peace of mind knowing our family member is in such capable and compassionate hands. We highly recommend this community to anyone seeking top-notch care!

Staff is great, the surroundings are great. The only thing I wouldn’t give 5 stars to is the food. The food is more institutional but it will not get any better no matter what facility you choose in senior living.

The relationship my family developed with the staff was very helpful during his time there. I have referred the facility to other families. I do think the food menu could have used some better selections.

The owners of the facility only do these kinds of facilities. They have remodeled this entire facility. What they have done exceeds over half of the nine facilities I visited. It is so wonderful now one of the people from another facility came here and is now working here. Name it, they have it, and some.

I took my loved one here from another facility and it is a very good place. The workers are great and the place is very clean. I would highly recommend Charter.

Fives all the way around!!! He, Mr. [name removed] passed away charter living of hazelcrest is a fair and balanced representation of senior living with dignity.

I would recommend but with some reservations.
