My Dad is very pleased with his situation at CSLC. He has gotten comfortable and styled in. The remodel has really provided him with a modern room . Having three meals provided is a big assistance in his day

We are very pleased with the staff and how well they received our uncle [name removed]. He’s been alone and independent most of his life so they are working diligently to get him acclimated to interacting on a daily basis. They always talk about him with a smile and a positive attitude even though we know it’s a bit more challenging than they say. They are very professional.

Some communication lapses at first. I was not told that they would not follow the plan for my husband's insulin administration. I was very clear with everyone about what the regimen was. Not once did anyone tell me they would not count carbs for his sliding scale insulin. They sought instruction from the house Dr. and our Dr. A new plan was made and he is doing well now. This could have been avoided . Since then, I receive frequent information about how he is doing and the staff have sought out sugar free foods and drinks for him so that he is not the only one who does not get a dessert or some juice. I am satisfied with the communication now. Lots of field trips and special events at the facility. They try very hard to engage clients and to keep them from isolating themselves in their rooms. Very satisfied with the value for cost. My husband is a veteran and as such is allowed by Charter to continue to use Tri Care for his medications rather than their corporate pharmacy. It saves us quite a bit of money.

My brother was warmly welcomed into the community and he’s receiving the care he needs. He has significant health conditions and the staff is taking good care of him. He has repeatedly told me that he’s happy there and is glad he made the move to this community.

5 for all! The staff is wonderful! They treat residents like family and are always available and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. The memory care program is top notch. We've actually seen improvement with my dad's memory

Yes, Charter Senior Living is a great place. It is always clean and friendly. Mom says the food is good. She's made a friend and is getting along very well.

Staff is very positive when interacting with the occupants and their families. I highly recommend this facility to anybody looking for memory care.

If you need assistance with any part of the assisted living or memory care transition process, you can rest assured knowing that the team here will absolutely have your back. They will help you to work through any worries you may have about placing your loved one and will build strong friendships with them to get to know them as much as possible so they can provide the best care possible. I have visited many facilities in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area and Charter is truly the best that I have personally seen.

As a third party provider for Charter Senior Living of Charlotte over the last three years, I thoroughly enjoy my time with its seniors, families, and staff on a weekly basis. Charter's care staff are always willing to learn and grow in order to provide the best care and quality of life to its residents. Its location is minutes away from Uptown and South Park making its location very convenient and appealing. Their on site Primary Care Provider helps accommodate and provided timely care for its seniors to avoid frustration of transportation and back logged doctors appointments. This facility has a very caring staff, a capable administrative team, and is an excellent quality facility. The needs of my sister-in-law were fully met. I would highly recommend this community for any potential resident in need of their services.

[name removed] passed away on [date removed], my experience with Linden, now Charter was excellent and recommend them without reservation. The staff are excellent. Professional, respectful, and compassionate.

I wish the residents rooms were cleaned a little more often. It seems as though the floors are not always clean. Recently my family member was hospitalized and when he was discharged, we expected his facility to pick him up. We were informed that they no longer provide transportation service outside of activities. That was not previously communicated. The only option they suggested was transporting him via ambulance, which is costly. For the amount that we pay for his care, this should have been arranged by the facility/community.

Overall a good experience. While a bit expensive it's mostly in line with similar communities in the immediate area. It is nice that's it all memory care and has easy access to outside areas. The food service has improved lately with the hiring of a new head chef.

Since I work, I had hoped to find a memory care residence for my mom that was close to work and home. I toured a few, and decided to place mom at "The Cottages, which is very close to both! The management now is superb, and I couldn't be happier! EVERYONE is on board providing excellent care, communication with families, and there is an abundance of activities and adventures for ALL of the residents; mom is thriving! [name removed] You are a God given gift to all. You plan and lead activities with the greatest of love and passion for each resident. I know, because I join in! Residents are out and about participating; not stuck in their rooms. The campus is beautiful and intimate, providing a lovely nature-like landscape for sitting, walking, and outdoor events. The new Alzheimer's/ Dementia Support Group for families to relate, share, and connect is a wonderful addition! With the many family inclusive events, as well as resident outings, I always look forward to attending all that I can!

I have recommended the facility. There have been some changes since I arrived that have led to much improvement.

My husband has dementia. The staff has allowed him to engage in activities with others, because he’s a people person. They play music and take walks outside. He seems happy there. The facility is very nice and clean.
