Bickford Senior Living

I enjoyed my tour very much of this community, it was only three minutes walking distance from my house and a very convenient location. The staff was very professional and welcoming to my mother and I. I loved the fact that they where willing to work with local programs and rehabs to make sure my mom would get all of the help that she would need. Unfortunately they did not have any openings for my mother at the time so I had to choose a different facility.

The tour seemed a bit rushed. The efficiency apartments was very small and would not be suitable for my Mother-In-Law. The common areas were very nice and the atmosphere and surroundings seemed very pleasant.

So far, my aunt is really enjoying the Bickford of Omaha. I have no complaints about the place so far. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. We are happy with our choice.

The Bickford of Sioux City was a nice well-maintained community. The staff was very friendly. The main reason we passed on this community was because my father wanted to be closer to the hospital that my wife works at, as well as the rest of our family. Other than that I was very impressed with the place.

My sister had the tour and they were not the right fit. They did not have the rooms that my mom needs. Her specifics were a 2 bedroom with a living room. The community was also not in a good location for mom. There was nothing wrong with the tour or place. We had a tour with a good person.

The locations is excellent and this property is absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. All of the staff was very welcoming and all of the residents seemed to be happy and involved in various activities they had offered throughout the complex. My loved one just could not afford this place they where very expensive.

This community is very nice and the staff is. very nice and caring. The food seems to be very good. They did have activities for my mom, but she did not want to participate . I would recommend this community for great care and value.

I have not had any problems out of this place. My loved one loves it here and so do I. They are great and the people are very understanding and helpful. The only thing that I would like to change is that the room is so small. They also have a lot of activities that my loved one can participate in.

The tour was fine and it looked like a nice community. We were not offered a meal it was just a tour. My mom thought it was a little fancy for her.

I was very impressed with my tour of this community. The community looked nice. From what I saw everything appeared to be well maintained. My tour went very well. The staff was kind and friendly. The room they showed me was nice, but a bit small. This was one of my top picks, and it was a nice experience. This is a nice community.

This community was lovely. The tour was excellent and the staff provided my loved one and I with lots of great information. The administration just needs to adjust the pricing, it is way to over priced and unreasonable.

The food is one of the high points. The food tastes good and they offer good selections. They keep the community clean. They do not offer as many activities as when my loved one first moved in. The staff are good, however they have had a high turnover. They are working on increasing the staff. They are allowed to have pets in their apartments.

The staff have been fantastic. The main concern with this community is that the food has seemed to decline within the last month. They have bi-weekly outings and daily activities. The community is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this community.

The staff was extremely friendly with every question that I had. The community was clean and did not have the normal smell of nursing homes. I just did not like that the rooms were right in front of the activities area. I feel that, that does not provide the privacy that my loved one is looking for. I would absolutely recommend this place to others if they do not mind the privacy issue.

We are happy with the care. My mom has enjoyed and likes the activities. We have had a problem with the staff not cleaning my mom's room and informed them of the issue. My mom is not happy with the meals and there is not enough options. We have told them she can't have onion with her meals and we she still finds onions in her food.

The first thing l noticed about Bickford were the residents, they were happy! The building is very cozy with fireplaces sitting areas all over with beautiful comfortable furniture. The dining room is very nice, friendly looking, like a lodge or a cozy restaurant. They have two courtyards in the middle with a garden,bushes flowers, and a tree.The rooms are clean and bright with large windows behind the building is a pond where you can see wildlife very peaceful. There is a large front porch with overstuffed lawn furniture. The staff is very caring and friendly. My dad has been there a little over a month, he is adjusting very well. He has made many new friends. They have many activities and entertainment something always going on.l told my son when the time comes for me to move l want to live there,if l can have a room in the back facing the pond. He said that l couldn't afford to. He's right it's very EXPENSIVE!!! P.S. my dad says the food is good!

This is a beautiful facility but a little expensive and the apartments are small compared to other places we have seen. The staff was very nice and caring. People who live there appeared happy and well taken care of.

The meals take a little long to for my loved one to receive. It's usually if it's the special that is what takes a little longer. The staff communicates well with my mother and me. I also like that they are really friendly and they try to pay attention to the needs of the residents. Overall, i feel i could recommend this place they have great people and various activities on site.

The Bickford is a lovely place, even though my mother did not get to move in, as she passed away one week after we reserved her room, I felt I would be pleased to have had her live there. It is very clean and lovely. The residents were friendly and the staff was wonderful. Have recommended it to several people looking for a home for their loved one.

We are pleased with the care that the staff offers at the Bickford of Burlington. They do a good job communicating with me about my dad's care needs. They offer a variety of options for meals and dad is enjoying them. They offer activities for the residents to enjoy. They had a Western Day where dad got dressed up. I would like to see more games like cribbage to help encourage more socialization of the residents. My dad is bored at times because he does not enjoy playing bingo and they play bingo often.
