Bickford Senior Living

So far this seems to be a nice community for my mother, and her needs. She is doing well, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. The staff from what I have seen is fine. They provide nice meals, and have good activities available for the residents. The experience is going well so far, and this is a community that might get my recommendation.

We seriously considered Bickford when we toured it. It is a nice place and the tour guide was friendly. What held us back was that they offered the same level of care as Edencrest, but at a higher price. Also, we knew my mother in law would need more care than they could give.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community for my father. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. The property was clean and had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just too expensive for his budget.

When we toured Bickford, we did not like the feel, we felt that it had more of an institutional feel when you go in instead of feeling like home. It was the call lights, they made it feel that way.

This seemed like a nice community when I visited. The people I met were nice and they offered some nice amenities. This community did not have an opening at the time we toured it.

My sister-in-law did a lot of the foot work me and toured this community for me. She liked the way it looked and it would have been a suitable pick for our needs but it was not as close to my house like I wanted.

I did not receive a full tour of this community. I was only in the lobby. The part of the community I saw was nice. I did pick up some literature to find out more about the community. This community was a little more expensive and a little farther away than the one we chose.

The staff at this community have all been wonderful to my loved one while she has been in there care. They are attentive to her needs and make sure she is comfortable in her living environment. She enjoys participating in activities with the other residents from time to time and has made many friends. The only thing that they say she could improve on is the meals they serve.

This is a pretty nice community, and so far my mother is doing well with her move to this community. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands. They have a good staff, and they are caring for her well. They have nice meals, and good activities available for the residents. The only thing that needs improvement is the laundry services. Other than that issue everything is working out pretty for us at this community, and I would recommend it.

This is a nice community, and my tour of it went well. The community was well-kept from what I saw. The staff was friendly, and kind. There were many factors that played into where to place my father. My tour was nice, but this wasn't the community for us.

I loved Bickford of Tinley Park when I toured. The facility is beautiful, and the person that took us around could have been nicer. It was a good experience and we would have loved to chose this place, but it was priced higher than we could afford.

I took a few tours with one being Bickford of Urbandale. This place was nice, it was clean and everyone from the most part was friendly. Some of the places, though, would not call me back after they evaluated my mother which was very discouraging.

It has been an adjustment process for my father with his move to this community, but overall I'am pleased with all they have done for us. The staff is wonderful, and the director has a great relationship with him. There are lots of activities available for the residents. Just recently he went on a nice field trip to the botanical gardens. I've had a meal. and the food is excellent. The community is very well maintained. I know he is safe, and in good hands at this community, and I would recommend it.

We toured this community for care. The room was nice, but it seemed as little congested for care. The staff was nice and friendly and they were able to answer the questions we had. We liked the activities that would be offered. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

I'am satisfied with my mothers move to this community. So far everything is working out pretty well, and she is doing good. They have a good staff, and they have been attentive, and helpful. They have activities available for the residents when they are ready to participate. With my mother being the picker eater she is, surprisingly she is satisfied with the meals. I like the fact it is a nice, small community. It isn't so overwhelming to my mother. This is a community I would recommend, it is working out well for us.

The staff here are very nice and very helpful to my needs. I have activities that I enjoy.with the other residents. The food is needing some improvements due to cooking casserole meals. The staff does everything they can and there is always something to do and they take our trips outside of the community. I would recommend this community to others looking for a good envirmemt. The meals need some small improvements, but overall I like the enviroment.

Place is beautiful !!! We think our mom is a little past this area of living. She may need more assistance, but this would be costly. Also this is a self pay community and we are thinking she will need to go on Medicaid shortly.

This community looked nice and clean when we visited. The community was a little farther away than what we would have liked. This community allows pets and has nurses on site.

I liked this community when I toured it. The community was a little older, however it did have a good feel to it. The staff were welcoming and the director was nice. The community could use some minor updates. This community was our second choice.

My mother in law is still adjusting with her move to this community. The most important thing is that they are taking very good care of her, and her needs. They have a really good staff at this community. They do a good job with keeping the community, and her room well maintained. She is receiving good care, and we are satisfied with all they have done for us. This is a community I would recommend, it is a nice place.
