Bickford Senior Living

I liked the tour at this community. They do offer a lot of great care for residents who need a higher lever of care. The community was nice and we found it to be clean and maintained. We would suggest other families tour this community for care of a family member.

We enjoyed touring Bickford with [Removed]. It has a very warm "homey" feel especially as you walk up to the main entrance. We liked the fairy gardens! The lunch was very good and experienced a very nice fondue during a party. We will keep Bickford in mind for the future. Thanks to [Removed] for her help.

My mother is still adjusting to all of the changes. The Bickford of Crystal Lake has been wonderful, I do not live in the same state but over the phone, they sound like they're caring and taking care of my mother.

My father is still adjusting to this community, but overall it is a nice facility. They have a good staff here. I know he is in good hands, and receiving good care. There activities available for the residents when they are ready to participate. He is adjusting to meals they serve. It has been a good experience, and I would recommend this community.

Looks like a great place for memory care. Great security. Beautifully decorated for memory care needs, with great natural lighting and outdoor space. A place for pets. Nice open dining area. Rooms are small, but memory residents don't need much space. Large common areas for socializing and being involved.

very friendly, bright, clean facility

This is a nice community, and so far my mother is doing well since her move here. She is safe, and receiving good care. They have good staff at this facility. I know she is in good hands. So far everything is working out pretty well for my mother at this community.

Based on what I saw on my tour of the community, I thought it was was a good place and wanted to move in. However new issues came about and they were not able to care for the needs. they had different policies and after a few weeks they said they would be able to but it was too late. I may consider them later if it does not work out for us.

When we got to the Bickford, a lovely young lady gave us a wonderful presentation. She spend a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. The place was more expensive than what we were looking for, though, bad it was far from the location we wanted.

This community was very nice. Everyone was willing to help and show us around. I really didn't get to see much because of the Christmas show they had going on, but what I did see was nice. I liked the way the community was set up.

Overall our experience with Bickford of Lancaster has been a very good one! The facility itself is clean, well kept, and just has a very comfortable atmosphere overall. Everyone is very friendly, including both the other residents and the staff. I really appreciate seeing how much the staff genuinely care for the residents, and how much they obviously enjoy their jobs and the care they provide. Bickford also does a great job with their amenities, there are always plenty of activities and the food is very good. My one complaint would be that I don't think they explain their pricing structure very well when you are touring or signing up. There are a lot of additional care costs that get tacked on to the price you are quoted, and they can really add up.

Lovely home & landscaping but most important the staff was outstanding. Met with [Removed] & [Removed]. Extremely helpful in our search. Very clean and they encourage pets! I would recommend you visit.

The Bickford of Urbandale was in my top 2 choices. It was a very nice place with friendly people and comparable to the other places I was looking at. Ther staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The Bickford was a beautiful place if it would have been a thousand dollar difference I would have still considered it but it turned out to be double! They charge per day instead of per month and for my mother's level of care that got quite expensive. Other than the pricing, the place was very nice and it would be our top choice if it wasn't for the money.

My sister in law is in a good hands here at this community. It is a nice place for the most part. It is taking her some time to adjust, but overall I know she is well. They have a good staff, and they are taking good care of her and her needs. There are activities available for her when she is ready to participate. One thing that I wish I had was the code to access the building, and not have to wait for someone to come to the door. Overall I know she is safe, and receiving good care. This is a community I would recommend.

Our tour of the Sunrise was great. The reason we ended up choosing another community was because of the location. This place was not as close as other places that we toured. The staff was all extraordinary and the place was great.

It was a good experience to have a tour. I spoke with them many years ago and they kept in touch. I got a good feeling from the community but after talking about the pricing it would not be suitable for our budget.

My parents are doing very good here. It was the right match for their characteristics and it meets their needs for the care they need. They were available for us to help with their conditions. It is a good place for my parents to be in.

I toured this community for my mother and her needs. Everything went very well, and this is a pleasant community. The staff I met was friendly and kind. It was a very good experience. There were many factors that played into where to move my mother too. This wasn't the place for us, but it is a good community with kind people.

Everything is working out pretty well for the most for my mother since her to this community. They are providing her with great care, and I know she is in caring hands. I enjoy the staff, they are great with their communication.There are activities for the residents through out the day. She is doing well overall, and I'am satisfied with everything they have done for us.
