Outside building needs to be cleaned up much more frequently. It's the first impressions that are memorable. Unfortunately, it is in a more industrial area, so litter ends up blowing on the property. Need to fix the TV's in the communal corners. Hope for perfection, expect multiple learning curves. Advocate for your loved one and approach it with gentle kindness and understanding. Administration always have an open door for walk-in's to discuss concerns and are excellent with collaboration with family to come up with workable solutions. Residents complain food isn't hot enough. Little to no snacks available outside mealtimes-should be available every single day if you boast about having them. They need an exercise room for regular use and physical therapy Overall a great place. Small single level quaint place. Loved one cannot get lost.

Bickford was a great place. No complaints. Convenient and nice.

Bickford felt like home from the first visit. Supportive staff, very clean and modern looking, lots of activities throughout the day, although my mom was not a big eater the food looked and smelled appetizing. When my mom was hospitalized, staff called several times to check up on her showing their concern.

While my mom was there the facility was short staffed resulting in her missing showers. I would recommend

Everyone is nice and accommodating. They have good activities for the residents. My Mom is able to move around the facility without any issues. The food is outstanding.They took a group out for lunch one day and my mother said it was the best salad she has ever eaten at a restaurant.

Everyone on-site has always been attentive and helpful. They call anytime I need to be aware of something. More than a few times I came in to mom sitting at the table with the staff around cracking up at mom's stories.

We chose this facility because of the fact that it appeared nice yet not brand new (which tend to be more expensive), location was in south Lincoln & the fact that most of the residents seemed to be in better shape then mom giving her something to aim for. Make sure they understand all the fees. There was one for landscaping I think, it was a one time fee but it was for several thousand dollars.

If you require assisted living this is the place be. Residents are a true priority. Bickford provides outstanding accommodations and go above and beyond to provide great service and opportunities. I highly recommend Bickford to family and friends who are looking for assisted living.

I had the pleasure of touring Bickford Senior Living with Joshua , family advocate. He radiated warmth & home. I interacted with residents and staff; all expressed happiness. The mailboxes on each apartment door and individual use of washer & dryer enhanced the feeling of home. Unfortunately my love one required a more intensive care. [name removed]is a fitting ambassador that exuberated kindness, support and concern for potential resident and family. I gladly recommend Bickford Senior living.

The staff has been very accommodating and my father in law reports that all of the people that work there are sweet and kind to him which is super important to us. Room size is price based on size and windows offered, and also amount of dependency/ need of medical assistance.

The staff seem always willing to help or point you in the right direction to get any issues resolved. The facility feels less like an institution and more like a form of a home. There are less residents than other more typical assistant living facilities.

Facility is beautifully decorated and very very clean! Staff is great and communicative. I love this place for my Mom!

5 for all categories except food. Presently between getting a good cooks, so it was great, now it's iffy, hope for better soon and based on the experience I have had so far, I would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

At that time we were able to negotiate on the apartment price, but not the care They gave two separate numbers you paid care for one thing and you paid for the apartment separately So it made it more affordable for mom She had a studio and it was great for her mobility issues and balance

What they could improve on would be more outings, but yes we would recommend Bickford of Omaha Hickory to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

After realizing the need for assistance while battling cancer, I came with my friend to visit the Rivers. My friend moved to the Rivers at the last months of his life. He was able to receive assistance with tasks of daily living and be with his dog, Sully. I will be forever grateful to the wonderful staff at the Rivers for their ability to make his last few months so much easier. Communication was always wonderful and the facility is well kept and well managed. [name removed] truly found the peace he sought under your care!

We had been trying to get my parents into the same facility but because they needed different types of care, it wasn't working out the way we hoped. I called A Place For Mom to see what else was available in our, and Bickford stood out. Even though we weren't quite ready to make the plunge for different reasons, [name removed] kept in constant contact with me. She would text and check on our situation and the health of my parents. One day my dad fell and hurt himself. We knew it was time. The place we wanted to be to keep them together hadn't given their approval yet. However, it was urgent to get him somewhere, and [name removed]helped us get him moved in within days. He was at Bickford for a month when the other place approved him. The staff at Bickford was so kind to him and to my family. I would recommend Bickford to anyone who loves their parents as much as we do. Thank you so much, [name removed]and staff. You made this transition so much more peaceful than we ever expected.

All 5s. My mom has a wheat allergy and they have accommodated that well. She also takes a number of supplements prescribed by a doctor, but not prescriptions. They worked with us to manage that as well. Frequent communication and everyone is always so nice!

They have friendly staff. it is very clean. They are accommodating and helpful. They have recently remodeled the lobby, dining area and other common areas.
