All 5s. My mom has a wheat allergy and they have accommodated that well. She also takes a number of supplements prescribed by a doctor, but not prescriptions. They worked with us to manage that as well. Frequent communication and everyone is always so nice!

respond to questions and needs. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place for their family to live. They helped us through a very difficult time. I would 100% recommend this facility to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

Staff has been friendly and Mom loves her caregiver. Comfy and homey feeling. Great community.

We are very fortunate that there is an insurance policy to help. The activities director goes above and beyond to have different activities - I know other places do that as well but the place has a nice homey feel when you walk in the front door. The cooks have really gone above and beyond as well - really trying to offer up multiple options for a picky eater - and the Nurse is always available to help with concerns or questions. They have very hard working staff who always say hello when they see you visiting.

What we like the most about Bickford of Bloomington is the way they make it feel like home for my step mom. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families. Our family experience Bickford of Bloomington has been great. They work to have a place for my step mom with 24 hours. They have also worked hard to make her feel at home.

All the staff is very helpful and friendly. They respond to requests quickly. And I know they're taking good care of my mom. They have daily activities and try to get people involved if they're willing.. and the meals are good.

[name removed] spent 3 weeks at Bickford @ Worthington. The staff was so welcoming during [name removed] stay. After just a short time, [name removed] was readmitted to the hospital and subsequently sent to another facility for rehab and follow up care. Unfortunately, [name removed] change of medical status resulted in his inability to be cared for at The Bickford. Had there not been the change, [name removed] would have thrived at The Bickford. It is a very pleasant place to stay...the staff goes the extra mile in all that they do. The idea of having a family advocate on staff makes a huge difference. The wellness director is knowledgeable and explains everything very well, making things very understandable. The staff's willingness to keep family informed makes all the difference. I recommend this facility to all!

Upon contacting Bickford at Chesterfield, I felt this was the type of facility my cousin would find comfortable and accommodating to her needs. The tour of the facility made it clear the staff provided excellent care and support of the residents. The Family Advocate was so helpful. She provided help with admission information and forms, and was always available to answer questions. The building is tastefully decorated and designed well for the level of care and very clean.

I would recommend this facility to others in need of it. I was completely happy. This facility was a much safer one than where my sister came from. All the staff were knowledgeable and did the best they could under the circumstances they were presented with. I have absolutely no complaints.

We were attracted to them because of the location and just the homey feel. I would recommend to others! I would like to add that [name removed] has been wonderful and so caring and helpful!

Staff, especially the nurses were amazing! Always very caring and called me with updates or concerns about her health! The facility itself was always very clean, but my mom's room was often not cleaned well. They left messes unless it was their scheduled day to clean her room. That was my only issue with them.

Bickford has been a very good solution. They have nice amenities, very good food, pleasant staff and lots of social interaction opportunities. They also do a decent job of communicating with family to keep you up on how things are going. They are always looking to engage with residents which is so important.

It was the perfect place for us. We never second guessed our decision to choose the Bickford. It is clean, but I think they made a mistake by going with a lighter carpeting, with so much traffic. The entire staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The quality of care is great for assisted living. The food is all from scratch, nothing processed. I did not stay there with my husband, I ate most of my meals there with him and enjoyed the food very much. I was not around for the activities, but the end of summer party was very nice. I felt we received our monies worth.

My mom is now at Bickford which is much better than [community name removed] Bickford is a homey and smaller place. It is easy to get in and out of. Caring staff and clean. I recommend it.

My mother passed away at Bickford. Bickford treated my mom and me with the utmost compassion. I highly recommend Bickford House! The facility and staff are truly top notch.

The staff was really nice, I think the quality of care would be better if staffing was better. I think they need to keep more staff on hand. The price is outrageous and my family decided to move her back into independent living at a different location against my wishes. She didn't love that the doors were locked and told everyone she was living in prison, I liked that the doors were locked... It is a nice community and the building seems to be maintained and updated. I have no other experience with any other assisted living homes. The price of any of these senior homes makes me very upset. Personally I think it's outrageous and a bigger majority of it should go to paying people to take care of residents. I think if they had more staff that were treated better, the residents would get better care

They keep family looped in on all care and changes. The food was great initially but they got a new chef and now grandpa complains the food is horrible and always smothered or covered with cheese or gravy or something. I would absolutely recommend Bickford of Lancaster to anyone!

Facilities all have ups and downs with staff. My main concern is with cleanliness of the floor within my mom's apt. Rest of common areas are great. I've shared my concern with them. No matter what time of day or day of the week staff has always been responsive. They are friendly and caring!

They were so helpful throughout the process of getting her moved in and then when she fell ill so suddenly. I knew when we first walked in that it was the right place 2 cleanliness 5. Sometimes a place has that old people smell. This place did not and the common areas were very inviting. They were amazing and in the brief time my mom was there they were very helpful and kind. My mom was not an easy person to deal with sometimes due to her disabilities but the staff was very patient. They offered specific care and assistance that my mom needed. I don't really have a good perspective on the meals/dining. My mom only had a few meals there and she had limitations as to food types. Everything looked and smelled good. For activities, I can't really address as my mom was not there long enough to partake. The info provided was good and my mom was excited about playing bingo which was on the list. Can't really gauge value for cost or compare - We didn't really have much choice and didn't see significant differences in cost among places we interviewed. This was the best choice for us in terms of environment where we thought mom would be comfortable and cared for.

My mother has complained that the kitchen staff has had a lot of turnover and inconsistencies in quality of the food. The cost is extremely high. The cost of assisted living is just extremely high no matter what location it is. My mother has adjusted much better than we anticipated she would. The staff has been very patient with her and is developing an environment of trust with her.
