Care provided was great. Little trouble in the beginning with distribution of the meds but was quickly resolved. I would recommend to others

They do a great job with clients. The staff is good at communications. They are very friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

This is a nice, comfortable resident facility where my mom lives now. She is not happy being out of her house but does say nice things about Bickford regardless. The enclosed courtyard is her favorite feature she can come and go when she wants without supervision. They do many activities there, but my mom chooses to not participate as she isn't very social. She said the food is good, but small portions. The apt arrangement is nice because it's in a circle, and my mom says "you can't get lost." Staff has had some turnover but have always been nice.

The staff was very helpful when I went to speak to them, when looking for a place for our Father. It's small enough that he gets the help that he needs and its more of a community setting opposed to a large facility for the elderly. The food is usually top tier with eggs, oatmeal, sausage for breakfast. They have activities such as bingo, church, holiday gatherings and other activities. The respond when staff are not doing their jobs to help the residents. For the most part, and overall we a e e grateful for Bickford.

Beware of the price. If you have the money it will be ok to live there

Big issue: NO access to staff after 6pm. Three times my Mom called me late at night (in Chicago) confused/scared. She woke up and did not know where she was (nightmare??). She needed a staff member to enter her room for 5 min to comfort her. I called the facility and NO answer. I texted the leadership (per their instruction) seeking a staff person to check on Mom...no response! Family NEEDS to be able to contact night staff on rare occasions such as these. Simple solution: buy a cheap burner cell phone for the night nurse. Family can call or send short text message seeking help. My Mom was happy at Bickford. As her daughter-I was the critic. I was fortunate to be able to visit Mom frequently...the residents were truly a community.

Overall, I am pleased with Bickford. At times it seems they are understaffed, but I think that's a very common problem right now.

Bickford senior living. I work Monday through Friday until 5 so after that. They are not very good at communicating. New management has taken over so lots of changes are taking place.

The first thing that I notice was it clean and well maintained. I also felt a family atmosphere. The residents were called by name and interacted with like a family member and not a patient. There are many different activities for the residents to chose whatever they would like to participate.

Mostly positive overall. Friendly staff, but high turnover makes consistency harder. Activities offered are great for residents. Dining is good, but staffing challenges sometimes makes meals late. My parents are well cared for and I am grateful, and know staffing issues are in every industry but seem more prevalent in the assisted living area.

Overall it's a good facility. Most of the staff I've dealt with are great. There are just a few who have been rude to my mother. But the head nurse resolves any issues quickly. They try to involve the residents in activities that the residents are interested in like bingo and other games.

The staff is very kind and attentive. Carla's room is a bit dirty but nothing out of control. Other than that we have not had enough interaction to have an opinion on dining or activities. This is our busy time of year so we are not hanging out there much. I do appreciate how quickly they got us in. They were very accommodating and even met me at 8pm at night to help settle her in on move in date.

Staff are OUTSTANDING!! Food is good, could be a bit cleaner but the compassion of all their team members is exceptional, they are So very patient, caring & understanding. People make the difference

They are committed to their patients. I would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

We are happy with our choice, but we made our decision based in part on the fact that the facility was family owned. Shortly after we moved in, they were sold to a corporation. It has made some changes in both the cost and care protocols. I would encourage people to ask about staff/patient ratios, how often and the range of average cost increases and after hour contact procedures. I would also suggest getting a list of contacts and truly understanding how their family member will be (or not) included in activities especially in memory care. I would also encourage anyone looking for care to join a support group especially if one is offered at their intended location.

I would recommend it. It's not easy running one of these facilities. Sometimes they failed to notify us when sickness occurs. Staff is friendly.

Went through a staff nursing transition around time mom moved in so there was some lack of attention to a non life threatening medical issue and lack of communication around pharmacy and doctor transition to Bickford's people, but I understand the site is or did hire a site-dedicated nurse. Would like to see more staff milling around but can't comment on what number is appropriate. Otherwise generally pleased with facilities and staff so rated at least 4s.

Caregivers are amazing and very patient. Administrative functions need improvement. Sales lead made promises that are now hard to deliver upon. Right hand not talking to Left hand. Needs a more formalized "welcome" and orientation when a new resident moves in.

My mother in law passed away shortly after she moved into Bickford. We are grateful that she had 2 months in a peaceful and well managed environment.
