IT was a very good tour. We did not choose this location because they had a waiting list. It is also a large facility

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is typical, and it is pretty clean so far.

The place is great from a visual and offering. She loves her room and the lighting. They tried to pair her with like people too. The food and weekend staff is the only complaint. She is struggling to find connection with leadership to improve the food situation. On the weekend there is no leadership staff and the support is not great if there are issues.

Bickford has a great team and a nice facility. We were there for a respite. The room was adequate for a short-term stay. Food was good. My mom was at a higher level of care than they were able to accommodate, so we had to get her into a skilled nursing center. But they did the best they could during the time they had with her. I have no complaints, and appreciate how they worked to accommodate us in our time of need.

My mom loves her room and really likes where she lives in general. She says the food is good and that staff are helpful and nice to her. She likes sitting in the common area/dining room chatting with other residents. As a family member who is there pretty regularly, I feel like the communication could be a little better at times.

I had a mixed experience during a short respite stay. Some of the staff were very kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about the residents. The monitoring system was reassuring, and whenever assistance was needed, staff responded quickly. I also appreciated that there were daily activities, along with a craft and game room that residents could use. The facility did seem short-staffed at times, with frequent turnover. Many of the nurse techs were young and very pleasant, but I felt additional training would have been beneficial. On one occasion, I needed help getting back into bed after slipping, and the staff struggled with the transfer. They were trying to help, but it made me question whether everyone had adequate training for those situations. The food was okay overall, although some meals seemed somewhat thrown together and portions were on the smaller side. Housekeeping was also an area that could use improvement. Overall, I don't want this review to sound entirely negative because there were definitely some positive aspects, particularly the caring staff and responsiveness to the monitoring system. I would consider returning for respite care if needed. However, for a loved one with dementia or significant memory-care needs, I would personally want to be able to visit frequently and stay closely involved in their care.

Staff and care is wonderful, food is good per my mother. My mom's room is nice sized for her and the staff keeps it clean. It is a wonderful secure facility with activities that my mom does not take part.

The staff seem very helpful. They have a lot of great activities and the apartment is nice. I felt they could have been a little more organized with our move in, such as having the cable box so the TV would work. I've also had some issues with getting the scheduled showers for my mom. I think they are short staffed so realize that can be a challenge.

I have found Bickford a beautiful place fur respite and healing. The facility is well laid out and homey. After my injury I needed more time to recover. Bickford provided that. Thank you to the staff. Yuri is most attentive and helpful.

I made an appointment to visit the facility and when I arrived I learned that individual was no longer employed. That threw up a red flag for me. I did have an informational visit but did not do a tour or the facility.

The facility is very well maintained, very clean, good staff ratio. However it was very expensive and you have to provide your own furniture.

My biggest complaint is always trying to reach someone by phone since I live out of state. Staff have all been amazing, patient, caring, personable & understanding. Room size is more than ample. Food is good & special requests met when possible. Activities are somewhat lacking but difficult to get residents involved so it's a double edge sword- if staff are available to participate residents definitely light up. Maybe volunteer opportunities advertised for "Buddies" or even someone to answer a lobby phone, be a greeter, etc could all improve the overall experience at Bickford in my opinion but we've been very happy with the staff & facility overall.

They seem to have sufficient staff, however, while 2 staff were in the room my mother fell and staff had to be told to call an ambulance due to Mom hitting her head while taking xaralto. They maintain a sufficient level of activity for residents. It was difficult for my mother to eat meat at this facility as it often was too tough to chew. Cleanliness was never an issue, and the apartment was a sufficient size. Mom was a resident for approximately a month prior to an illness that led to her death. In my opinion, this facility was better than approximately 95% of the facilities she could have gone to live.

The staff at The Bickford is kind to my wife. She is clean and does not smell like urine. My wife eats the food and appears to like it. The unit is clean. The number of residents is small so my wife gets plenty of attention. She has a room to herself. It is kept clean. The administration has been helpful when there was a problem getting autopay set up. I don't know about activities.

The place is clean. Overall. They take care of my moms laundry very routinely Room size is great. Staff has been great. During the night some nights she is not checked in as much as suppose to be. Nurses are wonderful. Activity Director is awesome. My mom says for is always the same but that's my mom. Looks fine to me. When I see them preparing it it looks wonderful

I would give our short time (2 weeks) there 4 stars. Staff was emphatic and patient. There's just not enough of them. The food was a good mixture of items. Lunch and dinner often included soup, a salad, main entree, vegetables and a dessert. Water or juice to drink. Apartment size is adequate. Our choice was to bring in a queen size bed with an adjustable head and foot. The bed takes up more room than other residents' rooms with single beds. There was still room for a dresser and a chair for him to sit while watching television. Bathroom is large. Can move around with enough room for a walker. Shower is large-we have a transfer seat in it so he does not need to stand up. There are activities but my husband wouldn't participate.

My sister likes it there. I just want to make her happy in the time she has left. Help always friendly. She is well taken care of. I had supper with her, food was good! [Name Removed] is there for me, when I have questions. My sister has gained some weight, she is walking with help. Good place for her to be at this time!

He had a bad experience with first roommate. A few hiccups along the way. I believe they could some more help. They weren't using call lights. He fell and went to the hospital and needs more care than he can get at Bickford at this time. Overall, I would use their facility again.

Not enough care givers. They don't seem to let different shifts know what is going on. I was total that my mom would receive PT and memory care activities, so far have not seen anything!

The facility was secure and our in and out activity was comfortable. We had good interaction with medical and diet teams. Management was responsive.
