Also very impressive. Director was very helpful and could relate to where I was coming from since she went through the same things with her mother several years ago that I am going through now. Comfort and care seem to be top priorities here as well as security which is a big concern of mine. Lots of activities for residents which is important to me. This is definitely on my possibility list.

Before our loved one moved into Brighton Gardens she ended up in the hospital and then in a rehab facility. The staff members were so accommodating, and held our loved ones room for her in an economical way. Her transition was not the typical transition and they were just so flexible, warm, and caring throughout the entire process. She started our in assisted living, but eventually moved to memory care. She is a lot less stressed out, she is actually really happy and blossoming.

We toured Bickford of Grand island and it is a nice facility that is all on 1 floor. They seemed to be very careful with covid protocols and everything looked clean. We followed up in virtual tour with an in person tour and everything was as good as it was online.

The community communications with billing issues could be better but the treatment for my mother is amazing. my loved one recently had a stroke while at the community and they were right on the ball and got her to the hospital immediately.

I would highly recommend it. My mom is happy there. I believe she is well taken care of. They have a lot of great activities. I have been happy with them and so has she. My mom likes the food. They have different floor plans to choose from. My mom has a one-bedroom.

My experience has been really good. My mom like it. My mom likes the food. The staff is awesome. The room sizes are good, could be bigger, but there are plenty of common areas. They have a wonderful outdoor courtyard area for residents. Need more variety in the activities.

It is not perfect but they are very responsive to any family concerns. The rooms are very nice and the layout is very nice. Food was very good when it was being served in the dining room but now that they are bringing food to the residents rooms due to the quarantine it is not as good. We have been happy with Bickford. When I first toured Bickford I spoke with a family member who’s loved one had been at Bickford for 5 years and she still she was very positive and loved Bickford so that told me a lot.

During the short time my mother was at Bickford in Okemos, she was well cared for. She received prompt attention and good effort was made to make her comfortable and to involve her in activities she could handle. The staff was responsive to family requests, and a slight billing issue was resolved without hassle.
