Change did not come easily for my dad, we looked at many "very nice" places before we arrived at Sunrise of Rocky River. What first impressed me was the size, it was large enough to have several options but small enough that it is cozy and tight knit. My dad initially moved to the assisted living floor and had a lovely two room suite, as his health declined we moved him to the Memory Care floor which has been a blessing. The care my dad receives is outstanding, everyone (from the director to the kitchen staff) greets him (and our family members) by name, and always has time and patience to have a chat with him. My dad has Parkinson's disease and dementia, before moving to Sunrise we struggled to find home care options that fit his needs and stayed within our budget. Had I known how happy dad would be, we would have made this move sooner!

a very nice place with awesome views out the windows of the tri cities. they have a lot of activities. this would be a great place for my mom or the both of my parents

Melissa was wonderful and offered so much information. Sunrise is just a bit out of my aunt's price range at this time and I was most concerned about what would happen when the funds are gone. If cost wasn't an issue, I would ask for a room for my aunt today !

For private pay residents, it is kind of a cadillac place and totally top of the line. Everything is clean and the staff was nice, you couldn't say one negative thing about them. My father in law was in a different position that the other family members, he had really planned more for his end of life so he was able to cover that stuff. I just know from visiting there that it was a very ncie facility, very nice people and it didn't feel institutional. Some of the other places can feel very cold and this is certainly very warm and welcoming.

It's fantastic - our mother's been there about a month and the staff are just awesome. They're bending over backwards to make her feel at home, and they're just an awesome bunch of people!

This community is very clean, friendly, and meets the needs of my father. Resident pets are on site and pet visits are allowed. This is a very nice community.

We are totally happy with this community. They have a wide variety of activities that are really setup toward the residents so that they can participate. We were looking for memory care communities and this one was just great. The staff was very responsive, they returned calls, spent time with us, and introduced us to everyone we needed to meet. If anyone of my family members needed help understanding something or had questions they were more then willing to spend the time with them to ensure everything was taken care of. I really liked their care philosophy and it seems like they really do like by it. The workers are universal workers, as in if you ask one to help it doesn’t matter if he is not working a certain section because they are all willing to help no matter what section you are in. They are very responsive to their residents. The space this community provides for movement was a big factor when deciding; he does not feel confined and the freedom to move around without having to squeeze through anywhere. The also have a community dog which seems like it would help the residents. It is convenient located for our family so we can visit. Overall we are very happy with this community and would recommend it to anyone.

We chose this community because the staff is really friendly and it’s very clean. The staff really treats the residents with respect. We looked at a couple other communities and when we walked in here we just felt like it was the right place for our loved one to be. The community is really pretty.

Sharon was very informative and personable. Answered questions easily, involved other staff with tour, excellent room sizes and configurations, both in assisted living as well as memory care area. Discussed fees, med dispensing, nursing staff availability, activities, safety, dining, other residents and more. This facility is #2 on my final list

visited this facility today. Toured with staff member. STaff was very friendly and facility was very nice. More services available with respect to medical services provided on site. Restaurant style dining. Small kitchenettes in each room - size of that depends on room size. usually @ 98% capacity so getting in might be harder. Physical therapy available on site. Elder daycare also available on site. Lots of extra charges as level of care required goes up - to be expected. This place was a little more expensive. Very clean and residents looked very happy. There is a bus for outings.

We loved the facility it was beautiful and and felt like home and all the employees were very nice and helpful.

1st Assisted Living facility we visited. It's located at the intersection of 2 very busy roads in Brentwood so lots of nearby traffic and some concern about residents walking out of parking lot into traffic. Entrance area is sort of like entering a 3 story high end hotel with concierge services, fresh juices & coffee, and an activities director leading entertaining activities for the residents in the large common areas. Awesome menu with multiple entrees to choose from in all 3 meals. Residents all knew and interacted with community manager during the tour. We watched an exercise class and participated in hang man game that was underway in the activities area. They have Wii game area and music/singing entertainment area. The rooms are very nice with nice entrance area that is decorated outside each door. They provide one touch pendents for instant help and there are 2 help buttons in every room. Feels a bit like living in a high end hotel because you take an elevator up to your rooms from the bottom floor area where all of the activities are held. There is also an activities area on each floor as well, but not as large. Unfortunately, you definitely pay more for this level of comfort, care, and entertainment.

Facility is very impressive, everyone smiled and said hello. Only concern is the community fee, seems excessive and it is doubtful insur. would reimburse. But overall very poitive impression
