Bickford Senior Living

I love this community and the staff. The staff is great about keeping me informed about my loved ones needs. The Alzheimer's unit is great and like no other. They tie the Alzheimer's unit with the assisted living. The staff alerts me to any problems that arise immediately. They offer healthy choices of food for my loved one to eat. My loved one feels like they are at a fancy restaurant. I also love the rooms and the privacy the rooms give. I would definitely recommend this community.

I took a tour of Bickford of Lincoln and it was a very nice community. This was one of my favorite places for my loved one to reside in. They had available activities and meals. One of the things that i did notice was the bedrooms they were small. Things were really close to each other. I did like that the tour guide was informative and very nice.

I toured this place with my mom and the staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They where helpful and very detailed with the walk through. Overall the community is very beautiful . I did think that it was over priced and was not affordable for my mother .

I really liked this community the staff were interacting very well with the residents. The atmosphere was very friendly and it was like a family home. Some of the caregivers were watching movies with the residents others were doing hands on activities depending what they liked. There was no odor in the memory care. Meal plans that are healthy are offered with good portions.

The staff at this community are always around and there to answer all our questions. Mom thinks the food is wonderful and they work with her diet needs. They offer daily activities. I would recommend this well taken care of community.

The community at Bickford of Crystal Lake is wonderful. The community offers a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. They offer activities for the families of residents to partake with their loved ones. They encourage family gatherings and invite families to join in. The staff that offered the tour were very friendly and accommodating. They were kind enough to offer us a meal when we took the tour.

Everyone in the community is very accommodating and make sure the needs of their residents are met. If something does need to be addressed they take notes on it and get it fixed. The staff are so wonderful and nice. The care for my father is great. The meals provided are also healthy and good for him.

The Bickford of Carmel was the best fit for mom! The staff have been patient and wonderful with caring with her needs. They are proactive and call me with any concerns that come up with her care. They offer a variety of activities that mom has been participating in. She is enjoying partaking in the activities. She has been eating well and likes the variety of good meals offered. The community is a very safe and secure community. It is very well kept and always smells nice.

This is a wonderful choice for excellent care for loved ones. The staff is very caring and helpful for those who need great care. The food is very good and a very nice variety of meals. Activities are available for those who like to keep active . I would recommend this community to anyone wanting great care.

Although my loved one didn't end up moving into Sunrise of Rocky River I'd say our experience with them was a very positive one. Based on what we saw during our tours it was a very nice looking place, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.

The Bickford of Tinley Park seems to be a wonderful place. From it's warm and friendly decor to the nice sized rooms and the many programs and program levels it offers it's residents. Cortney was very hospitable, warm and very informative. I am very impressed with what I saw and the way the staff interacts with the residents there. I hope to return with my mom and dad.

The Bickford of Moline is a very nice community. I am pleased with the staff they have been very friendly. The community is beautiful and has done the best job they could to help my mother transition to the Bickford of Moline.

My mother is doing very well here the staff is wonderful. She participates in some of the activities they offer. It is very clean and kept. My mother likes the food she wished there was more variety to choose. I would recommend to family and friends.

Love the whole experience here.Really care about their residents.

Bickford was top choice because it had a sink in the kitchen whereas many assisted living facilities don't. Mom wanted a place where she could make her coffee/ tea when she wanted it. She moved in two weeks ago. My mom really likes Bickford. Her only complaint is the food could be better, that's the reason for the 4 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, and the residents appear happy. in two weeks mom has begun to make friends and found residents that enjoy similar activities to what she enjoys. The management is transparent about costs and has a program in place to help the residents get acclimated . Mom's favorite activity is happy hour every Wednesday . Just like other assisted living facilities, the food is overpriced in that there is no tiered plan for meals but a one size fits all. The common areas are inviting and clean. Mom is getting the assistance she needs and is as happy as one can be when giving up their independence. I would highly recommend Bickford .

Everything has worked out very well for my father in law here at this community. They are caring for him and his needs very well. The community looks great, they do a good job with the cleanliness. They have a very good staff, they have been great to work with. He is trying a few of the activities they offer. He really enjoys the meals. We know he is safe and getting great care. This is a community I would recommend.

So far we are very happy. Very pleasant staff and atmosphere.

This was a very nice place and I liked it enough that I would even consider working there. Very pleasant, the residents were very kind to allow us view their homes. The tour went very well. Now we need to have our MIL take a look but she is being stubborn again and says it costs too much. I feel the prices were fine for all the services being given.

First one. My on line look: Space looked small and tight. But after I was their it was cozy like a home. Staff had been with them long term. Heidi was very helpful to me to understand the process. I liked it as it felt like a home.

Staff is wonderful! Very caring and compassionate! Mom is doing great and has assimilated very well!
