I like this community and they keep it well taken care of. The staff are nice and informative. They are doing their best to take care of her. The food looks good and mom seems to like it. This community does not accept Medicaid. I would recommend this community.

My mom's memory is improving, before she would say little phrases and now she is asking me questions. They have challenging activities and she participates in a lot of things. I talked with the staff and they tell me she is pleasant and happy. She is where she should be and they treat her with gentle care. She has been paired up with a lady with similar traits. She is doing well here.

I was very happy with the great care that was received here. The staff was wonderful and very nice. They activities have been offer. The community is clean and they have a nice menu to choose from. I would highly recommend this community to other families for outstanding care and value.

Loved this facility and [Removed] the director of Sales. I got a real feeling of caring about their seniors in the facility. Liked that you pay for services needed vs all inclusive.

Sunrise is a wonderful place. Our mother was not there long, but they treated her well. The shared pets are also a great addition.

When it became apparent that our sister required care beyond what we were able to provide, we began an intensive search for a facility that would meet her needs both physically and mentally. Now, some six months after her residency first began, we could not be more pleased with the outcome of her placement. Every time that we go to visit her, we come away with the feeling that she is in the best place that she can be in for her health, wellbeing, and protection. The staff is friendly, caring, and very observant of her needs. She also has adjusted very favorably to the changes and, while dementia does not get better, it does seem to have reached a plateau where there is a degree of comfort within her confusion. Great job Bickford of Battle Creek!!!!

The staff at this brand new community are bending over backwards for the residents. My loved one likes the food, however she does think the portions are a little small. They are just starting with the activities and outings. The residents are currently helping to decorate the community. The community is clean. One of the reasons we chose this community is it is close to a hospital. I would recommend this community.

I am happy with the staff they are very nice. Mom is doing really well and adjusting. they are really good there, if the residents don't come out they knock on their door and invite them to meals or activities so they know, its very helpful when you have dementia. The food is good and mom is not losing weight and eating well. They have things all day long like exercise, crafts, play bingo, different card games a lot more. I like it because it is smaller and not as many residents, more interaction and all on one level. It's easy for mom to get around.

This is a smaller community and easier for my mom to meet people and the staff are friendly and they still are. My mom is doing good and enjoys it. She can choose her meals from a menu or get the daily special and likes most the meals but they have alternatives. Mom enjoys bingo and different groups come to sing and has tried a few other activities. Her room is spacious and she is happy with the size and has housekeeping cleaning it often.

My mother is doing well since she made the move to the Bickford. She seems very happy. The staff helped her get comfortable. From what I've seen, I haven't noticed anything that needs much improvement. The food is very good. We really like the constant care from the whole staff up to the managers. The staff overall is excellent. The upkeeping of the community is great. My mother has gone on a couple of trips to the mall and other outings. We are very happy with this community.

The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. The place is beautifully decorated, the food is good. There is a real caring atmosphere at Bickford.

we would happy with the care that we saw here. We felt that my mom needed a little more care in special needs. They had add on's when it came to the cost of different care needs. The had a good variety of activities, The food was good and appealing. I would overall recommend the community.

We had a very nice experience with this home care agency. I was pleased with all they provided my mother with. This is a very nice home care agency.

I just stopped in there and they gave me a tour. Very nice. The problem is they are a private pay. If my dad runs out of money, I don't want to have to move him. No medicaid.

The housekeeping team at this community has really impressed me. They have been absolutely great with helping maintain my mothers room, they take care of all her laundry and do a deep cleaning once a week in her bedroom. My mother has since joined the food committee they put together to try and help improve the food they serve throughout the week. I am pleased to see how involved she is getting and how much she is enjoying the company of the other residents.

Jessica that Admission Director was great. She walked us through everything and dropped off additional paperwork that we need to fill out at our home.

This place is wonderful and have great staff and residents. They are doing a awesome job with my loved one. My loved one really likes it here. They offer a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. I really couldn't ask for a better place for my loved one.

This is our number one choice. Rihannon was very cordial and truly wanted to get to know my husband and his personality, likes and dislikes. She was the only one who took the time to find out about us, rather than jumping right in to tell us about them. I loved the memory care unit...lots of activity going on. Residents were interacting and not just in their rooms. They seem to be able to meet our needs. I have a friend who is a resident and since my visit, have concerns about communication issues with the staff and family. I will want to check into that more closely and hope that those are isolated incidences. Overall-very impressed.

Bickford is wonderful. My mother in law has been there one week and we are amazed at how it feels like home. The caregivers and even the residents are all so nice and caring. We really feel lucky having found a place where we don't have to worry about her.
