Loved touring this place. Beautifully? decorated and caring staff. Not sure if the location is right for us.

I really liked seeing the community when I had my tour with them. I got to meet really friendly people here and I thought I had a good view of what the community has to offer. The next morning I just thought a different community would be better. I didn't see much people that had high needs. Not much wheelchairs and walkers. It was not a good fit for my parents.

Very nice but out of our price range.

Wonderful! Beautiful surroundings, good food, caring staff. Mom feels at home already after less than a week!

Very nice and clean. Rooms were nice but no closets, just an armoire (at least in the studios). Wish they had closets and a small kitchen area, but since they prepare the meals you don't have to have kitchens. Price is a bit more than others I've been to but may be justified.

I like the care for my father at this community for my father. The staff are caring and are willing to listen to suggestions from the residents on the menu. It's nice to see that they care enough. They offer a lot of good activities for the residents. We would recommend this community for other families.

This is a good community for great care. The staff is friendly and helpful. The meals have good variety and are tasty. They have a structured activities that are encouraged and I like that they keep him involved with the other residents. They offer individualized levels of care. I would highly recommend this community to other families, but realize this on the costly end of the assisted living spectrum.

The tour at this community was The staff were very helpful and friendly. The community was small and seemed to have a personal touch. The manager was outstanding and had a nice personal touch. We were impressed with this community and would recommend the care and value to others

My husband was only at the community a few days. The staff at Bickford were supportive, helpful and took care of everything. They encouraged him to participate in some of the daily activities. The community is clean and I would recommend it.

Such an amazing place!! The staff is fabulous! It's beautiful, like being in a beautiful home! We are so thankful to Bickford for all they do for our loved ones!!!

The memory care staff at this community are focused on the residents. They know how to care for them. There is a good ratio of caregivers to residents. The caregivers get to know the residents and each of their individual needs. Mom loves the food and the community is very clean. The memory unit is a lockdown area, however they do have an outside patio the residents can enjoy. They offer daily activities and short trips out.

I first learned of the Bickford Assisted Living facilities when I took my mother to visit a friend in the Bickford of Rockford, IL. I was very surprised at how nice the facility was and when I asked for information, the people were very helpful. I have come to now know that this is the standard by which their homes are run. My mother was ready to leave her apartment and we started looking at facilities around the western suburbs of Chicago. We looked at two Bickford facilities, both of which were excellent. During our visits the staff was very friendly and informative. One thing I notice right away the staff always spoke to the residence and called them by name. Something I did not see at other places. We eventually settled on the Bickford of St Charles, IL and could not be more pleased with the decision. It is no longer an assisted living facility but a warm and caring home for my mother. They have a full day of activities with something for everyone. The food may be too good as my mother has but on a little too much weight. The staff at St Charles is very good and they all know my mother which is obvious when I talk to them. The home is kept in top condition and is always decorated in season. This location sponsors periodic events for the entire family and they do an excellent job with these family occasions. The Bickford of St Charles has been an excellent home and has been instrumental in making the transition from apartment living to assisted living painless for my mother. I highly recommend any of the Bickford homes and especially the St Charles location.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. It is a nice place and they were very accommodating when we move my mom into the community. The staff go out their way to help her and they are very nice. She likes it there and that is a blessing because she did not like any other places. It is a smaller atmosphere and she knows everybody and made some new friends too.

We looked at Bickford and were very impressed. It was a nice community but we felt it was a little bit out of our way and would make visiting more difficult.

We moved our family member with memory issues into Bickford about 1-1/2 months ago. His health has already greatly improved. He moved in there when we realized we could no longer meet his needs in our home. He moved in to Bickford after a hospital and long rehab stay and he was so week that he had become wheelchair bound. He is already up with his walker & looks years younger. They are diligent with meeting his needs (regular toileting, doctor ordered water restriction enforced, social interaction, even physical kind & appropriate touch). The nurses, CNA's & administrative staff are all very aware of him and his specific needs - well trained, knowledgeable & friendly. They are very loving & consistent with all that they do for him. He normally would complain about food - but he is happy with the food provided there. We are thrilled with the level of care. Great team caring for our loved one.

I toured this community when we were looking for my mother-in-law. It was a nice community and I would recommend it.

This was a beautiful and welcoming community, but at the high end of the price rangs.

My mother is really enjoying the Bickford of Peoria. She is eating a lot better and the staff is good to her. I would recommend this place because they treat my mother well, and it feels more like a family home than a facility.

Really top notch care. This ended up being primarily a hospice situation for my mother and we could not have asked for a better situation for that. Comfortable with excellent care. . The staff was available and attentive to her needs. She was comfortable with the care and community. They were able to assist her in every way possible. The community we found to be clean and maintained. I would recommend this community for everything they did to help my mom. Nice place. Highly recommended.

I met with [Removed] at Bickford of Middletown during my search for assisted living for my mom. [Removed] was so friendly and welcoming during my visit. She was genuinely proud of Bickford and the services they provide for their residents. During my intiial meeting, [Removed] went through the brochure, pricing, and answered all of my questions. We then took a tour, including a visit to one of the resident's apartment. It is a warm and friendly place. The staff all have smiles on their faces. The residents looked happy - some were working on a puzzle, some were sitting by the fire, and some were watching out the window. Everything was very clean and the furnishings comfortable. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of their residents. Very happy with our choice!
