Toured at 2PM. Difficulty entering the facility as there is no receptionist and a code is required to enter and exit. [Removed] gave has a complete tour and a good overview. She also recommended a good mover. Very nice facility. Members of the staff were recreating an [Removed] Sisters tune - impressive. Maybe it was the hour of the day, but we did not see many folks in the common areas, as most must have been in their rooms. Dinning and choice of foods looked excellent.

I so want to live here. They have actual apts. Not just rooms.[Removed] was so helpful and encouraging.The residents were smiling and the food looked good.They consider this your home and they are providing services in your place. I like that concept. Plus they are pet friendly. That is certainly a plus.

We had a great experience at Bickford Cottage. My mom stayed for 12 days. She is 101 and they took great care of here. [Removed], the director is fantastic. I would rate it a +10 in all areas. I was especially impressed how quickly someone returned my inquiry on your website with a phone call. And then the girl that called me was so knowledgeable about where she thought my mom belonged. I had considered a nursing home for respite care but she thought my mom would do fine at Bickford Cottage and she was right. We met wonderful people there and it is only 5 minutes from my home. I plan to use it again in March.

Everything is going pretty well for my brother here. The staff is great; they’re friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to be taking good care of him. We go down to visit and he is always dressed and showered. The director, [Removed], has been really good with him. [Removed]visits my brother a lot, only my husband and I visit from time to time so my brother doesn’t get a lot of company, so he enjoys it when others engage with him. She is also very accessible, even through text message; she is there almost 24 hours I don’t think she ever leaves. They are very attentive to folks. He likes the food, which was the first hurdle because he’s a picky eater. They make it by scratch and they can make somethings on request. There is also don’t pressure us with moving him to permanent living. There is no signing a contract only a 30 days’ notice which I like. I really can’t say a bad thing about this place.

I love Bickford for its home-style environment, small resident size and professional staff. Mom attends activities with the caregiver's assistance, however, does not remember what she has done when asked later.

This facility is absolutely beautiful. It is a new building and all of the staff members are very accommodating. They bent over backward to get our family in to tour the facility. The staff was wonderful and they explained everything to us. I can’t say enough about the staff and how wonderful they are. They were very understanding. The layout of the building was beautifully done and the dining room was more like a little restaurant. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I toured here when looking for a place for my dad and this place was very, very nice. It was mainly occupied by females at the time, though there were a few gentlemen around. There seemed to be activities for everyone and they had a restaurant style dining area. The facility looked very, very clean and it’s only been around for about a year so everything is pretty updated. When I first walked in, the first thing that I noticed was that it was an open floor plan, so it was like walking into someone’s home or their living room. The rooms were nice and even had kitchenettes. My dad would be here if it had been a bit more affordable

The staff at Bickford have been super helpful, and have gone way out on a limb for us to accommodate and help us. They have just ben great. The food is excellent, and my friend just loves it. They have a wide array of activities and outings for the residents, and the community is clean with all brand new furniture. I also like that each wing has their own dining room, so the community retains a smaller, more homey feel.

Loved the place! It's about $500 more than our monthly joint net income! I'd have to find $500 more a month to pay and then live off savings. Neurologist said hubby is very advanced and has 2 yrs max. I'd spend an extra $50,000 from savings. Tough decision. Gave $500 refundable deposit. Small family owned...good feeling for the place!

A very nice facility with a home-like atmosphere. The staff enjoyed talking with the patients and knew each by name.

We are so happy we found this community for my father-in-law. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. You get a very welcoming feeling when you come in and it is very home like because he has his own apartment and his stuff in it so he feels like it’s home. He enjoys the food and being able to have friends and social time when eating. It is always clean and tidy. They have a nice patio area if he wants fresh air. He loves joining in the activities like movie night and they had some local singers come and sing for them. I would recommend this community to my friends and family.

Inviting and warm atmosphere. Feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The nurses are on top of all of my mom's medical needs and keep me posted of any changes. When my Aunt, her sister passed they came to her side like family would. I can't tell you what that meant to us. Just as a side note...every meal I've had with her there has been great. We've had her in rehab in a place that she hated the food. Good food matters!

We had a very nice tour, very friendly staff, new building. We got the opportunity to see how quickly the staff moves when a resident needs help - very speedy! We were very impressed with the whole operation.

Small community - just 37 residents. One floor, very easy to get around. Large aviary. Lovely interior courtyard with raised garden beds.

My dad was very lonely at home since my mom passed. He wasn't eating well and he wasn't doing much more than watching tv all day. He's become a different person at Bickford. He loves his friends and the staff there. I feel much more relaxed knowing they're all watching out for him and making sure he's getting his medications. This has been a complete turn around for him and I know it's added time to his life. I would highly recommend. Most caring place I came across when I was looking for dad.

The care from the staff here is excellent. We like the cleanliness of the community. The menu needs a lot of improvements. We like the activities that are offered for him. My father likes being able to play cards. We would recommend the care and value to other looking for great care.

Toured Bickford. Our family really loved this one. There was a discrepancy when they explained the price and what the actual cost was. We cannot afford the cost of this facility.
