We toured this community and it was very impressive. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions. The price was higher than others in the area.

The staff is very friendly and does a great job. The community is safe and secure and they have made safety a priority. The food is great and the community is neat and clean and they have lots of activities. communication is good between the staff and our family. I would recommend this community to others

We toured Bickford of Urbandale and really liked the facility. My loved one is much younger so we were looking for a place that had a younger crowd which is why we did not choose this facility.

My sister and I visited with Mary for a tour. We were overwhelmed with the cleanliness, comfort and professionalism of the staff and management. There are limited rooms for couples, so for right now this is not an option for my parents, but I wish it was.

We chose Bickford of Canton because I felt that my moms needs would be met, it is a smaller community vs a larger building so the staff to patient ratio was better and I walked in and it felt like home. She is in a memory care studio and I think for her purposes it is just fine. Everybody knows everybody here, the staff members are so friendly and know each resident by name even their family members. I would recommend to others looking.

We toured this community and it was very nice. The tour was very good but the community just didnt fit our needs.

Everyone was exceptionally nice and qualified to do their job. Went over and beyond to take care of mom. With 28 rooms in this section, was easy for residents to get around. Mom had a call button pendant for around her neck, if she needed anything. Very handy and I feel every care facility should offer one of these for each resident. I am so very thankful to everyone who made the last 2 months of my mother's life as good as it could be. They gave her dignity & made her laugh. They definitely made my life easier too--less worry and know she's actually being taken care of, unlike Illiini Heritage Nursing Home, where she was abused, neglected and molested. Mom was a resident about year and a half ago+. Many, many thanks to all of you who were there at that time.

I would tell others the community was wonderful. I like the personal touches the community did for the residents and families. It was a smaller community all on one level. I wouldn't change anything about the community.

My experience has been during the pandemic. The community has found a way to still have activities to engage the residents. It is a smaller, home like atmosphere. They have caring staff, and a passionate Activities Director. There is a group of staff that is willing to step up and do what the residents need.

This is a very nice place. The layout of the building is in a square. Makes it nice for residents to get around. The cost is a bit less than other assisted living homes however. the rooms are around 412 sq feet. Give or take a few feet. They don't have a movie theater, a workout room or a room for physical therapy. It's done in your room or at the end of the hallway where there is a small area for them to use.

The Marketing Director was outstanding and fabulous to work with.

We moved our loved one into this community during the pandemic and it was a wonderful experience. He got all the right treatment and therapy that he needed. He was pretty reserved because he had came from isolation, but for a month a staff members ate lunch with him everyday. Not only did they give him normal therapy but they even taught him how to dance during his therapy. Which was a shock since he could barely walk at the previous community. I got married in august and the market director offered to come to the wedding as our fathers plus one so we did not have to worry. We knew he was in great hands for then entire evening and he had a blast. We could say a million good things about the care, environment and the community.

They were very happy here. They mentioned the staff members were friendly and helpful. They raved about the food and said it was very good. I would recommend them to others looking.

My friend loves the food and they have choices and the variety is good. The community is cozy and a down-home feeling. The staff has been here for a long time. I would recommend this community to others

The communication between the family and the staff is good, they provide the covid updates and they are very responsive. The only issue is the food my mom does not like food. I would recommend this community to others

The nursing care is excellent and the staff has been there for over 25 years and are friendly, but the community is pricey. I would definitely recommend this community to others

The people at this community are a standout to me. The nurses were good. The entertainment at the community was also good. We really enjoyed the place.

The nurses and staff keep in contact with me about my loved one. They even send emails of what is going on in the community. My loved one is safe here.

We chose Bickford of Champaign because when we went to tour this was his favorite place. The room sizes here seemed to be good. Overall, I have not been able to be here a whole lot because of the pandemic, but I would recommend and already have.
