Bickford Senior Living

[Name removed] was a pleasure to work with. I can't say enough about her. My Mother in Law decided on Bickford, even placing a down payment to only change her mind the following day. The reason for changing of her mind was due to the increased monthly dollars compared to what she is currently paying today. After thinking on it overnight she didn't feel comfortable with spending the additional dollars. She did get the opportunity to see what was out there which I am grateful for. Thank you for everything.

Was fine but had a 6 months waiting list for the care needed

Where mom would be happy, I feel This is the right place. Family managed, well established, friendly, staff was smiling and happy, benefits were more than I could have imagined. [Name removed] was super, she took the time to find out about my mom, and her likes and special interests. She compiled an entire page! This was so important to me. She said, I cannot offer you placement at the moment until we send a nurse to assess her first! SOLD Plus [name removed] called to learn my views about what I thought of Bickford, on Tues! She even called my sister in Washington, to tell her about Bickford.

My son and I were very impressed with Bickford. They have a room available that will work perfectly for my mom and we are in the paperwork process. Thank you for this suggestion!

The staff at Bickford is wonderful. They all work together as a team & go out of their way to help you. My mother just passed away there. We brought in hospice & the Bickford staff worked well with them. I am so impressed with Bickford. I have decided to volunteer there a few hours a week. I thank God for Bickford every day.

This is a wonderful place.

My Dad is happy and seems more at peace. With dementia this is the best we can hope for. The staff is attentive and kind.

We continue to be impressed with Bickford and it's entire staff! The facility is very clean and always decorated beautifully. Mom is so well taken care of, and always involved in activities. Often the director or RN at Bickford send me pictures of mom via text, as she is painting, singing or cooking with Chef [name removed] . Can't express my relief when I see her engaging in activities with her fellow residents! We have peace of mind knowing she's not sitting in her wheelchair alone, isolated and staring off in the distance. Thank you Bickford of Battle Creek!

Looking for openings at this facility.Very much like this place. Would need a room for two in Alzheimers care.

Stopped by on the spur of the moment. They were nice enough to give me a tour. Memory area small # of residents. Very clean. Their assisted living is much bigger. Looks like good selection of food but I didn't get to try it. Bring your own furniture. Pricing is not straight [removed] rate for room+care rate +community fee. More expensive than others.Private pay only. Is a great place.

We are so grateful to Bickford for the lovely care they provide for my mother. Attentive, friendly, pro-active. Thanks so much. She loves being around the folks there in that community and hanging out in the sitting room with everyone for activities.

Another great tour. Very help and makes the decision somewhat difficult to make. Just a couple of things that will make our decision one way or the other.

Bickford on Blondo has been a wonderful experience for my mother. The quality of care that she gets daily is outstanding. The staff treat the residents at Bickford like family members. It is very clean and offers a lot of activities for the residents. The meals are always good and have a lot of variety. If you are looking for a smaller assisted living facility for your loved one this one should be on your list. For our family it has provided the comfort and security we we looking for.

Bickford hands down the best place for my mother, The family also must be involved. The staff and the meals were all better than any of the three I had Mother at previous. I would recommend the Bick ford as a first choice .Clean neat and all around great atmosphere to be around. If you are looking for a place for Mom or Dad you must check out The Bick Ford. Towards the end it was a full time job for me and the staff was so very helpful and out going .The staff one me across the boards. They were there for me to help in any way they could ,I have nothing to say but thank all the staff at Bickford.

My mother is super happy at Bickford. She participates in many activities and her over all well being has improved.

My dad was at Bickford for about a month There were no problems, the staff was friendly and the programs were interesting. From what I could tell, Dad had a great experience.

We had a crisis situation that necessitated making some quick decisions for my mother. The folks at Bickford really work with you and help to put together a plan that fits your loved one's needs. They continue to follow-up and and ask for input to assist them in making any improvements. They adjust the resident care plan as needed. They offer daily activities and fun events to keep the residents active and enjoying life. They encourage family members of Bickford residents to participate in activities and offer services to help families stay in touch. They also offer a good variety of menu choices. We are so grateful for how everything came together. Such a blessing!

Outstanding. Very high rating on facility, staff, decor and over all appearance. Very nice apartments, a good variety of options for rooms and a true feeling of home. Residents were active and friendly. Our site tour was two hours and [Name Removed] was extremely gracious.

Our family can’t say enough wonderful things about [name removed] and [name removed] of Scioto. During our tour, [name removed] did an amazing job of educating us about the world of senior living and made us feel very comfortable that they are equipped to take great care of their residents throughout the course of their lives. This facility is very warm and inviting with a really nice homey feel. I would recommend that anyone looking for assisted living in the area adds this facility to their list of places to visit.
