My mother recently moved to Park Place and is settling in. The staff have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and I appreciate her being somewhere close and with people she can interact with. It is a big adjustment but everything is in working order and she is making new friends.

It's been fine for my loved one so far. Only bad thing I know of is if she decides to go to big house for a meal they quite often run out of main meal leaving hamburger as an option

I chose this community due to the cost and also the size of the apartment. The food is pretty bad and you don't have any choices unless you want a hamburger or hot dog. I have a medical reason for needing to take my meals in my room and I'm charged an extra $50 a month for that.

The unit we took was ready when we were told. The maintenance people were prompt in hanging our three TV's. The Garden Home had new carpet, new paint and new Refrigerator. I get on a small bus every Thursday with my neighbors and are taken to different places to have a nice lunch. Very good way to make friends. I have played and won at Bingo. There are about four different activities scheduled each day (including Saturdays and Sundays). Highly recommend.

There has been some turnover between techs/nurses over the past year, but we have been extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff. The food (taste, appearance and combination of the side with the entrees) could be improved on.

It's a great facility. My dad likes it there. Food is great and Staff is friendly. He also got to keep his dogs which was nice. I would absolutely recommend Five Star Residences of Banta Pointe to others looking.

I would recommend Church Creek and say my in-laws enjoy it very much.

Mom absolutely loves it where she is. She does complain about the food sometimes, but who doesn't. They have LOTS of outings where they take the residents out to shop, sightsee, eat, etc--she LOVES that!!

It has almost all been a positive experience. The main dining area not always cleanest. There was only 1 challenging aid and they didn't stay long. The care services started a bit slow but when activities director came back from vacation things got better. They didn't always make sure she had food when she didn't get to the main table for a meal. They made a good effort to provide things to involve her. The cost is always an issue but they had a decent balance

I believe they have the same issues as other facilities - retaining quality help, specifically CNA's & frequently having to hire people not suited to caring for elderly. They don't last long. Turnover is hard on everyone for maintaining continuity of care, knowing the patients & communicating with family.

Good overall. Some areas could be improved. Would recommend for the price.

I feel very safe here, and I'm mostly paying for that, as I have personal reasons involving my safety. I love that this is a locked building with an overnight security person. I would have rated almost everything higher but I think the quality of food is very below average. The cooks are not experienced and I'm told that the former chef served wonderful meals. He has passed away and the old-timers here say the food has really gone down! Everyone seems to think the food should be way better for a 'Five-Star' facility. There's a great deal of turnover and many of the servers and kitchen help is expected to do it all. I also feel that our BG bus is too limited for medical visits, with only two days per week allowed. There are far too many residents to have to try to keep their appointments on either Tuesday or Thursday! The other days are Monday for shopping and banking, etc., Wednesday until noon for errands, etc., and on Friday usually an out of town trip is scheduled for a casino, etc. I think the laundry facilities leave much to be desired. Even today, I had to make several trips to find a vacant washer, and I'll be up until way late tonight by the time I can have them dried.

I was in a terrible time bind and really had few options for Dad. They jumped into action and made suggestions, offered advice and ensured we could get him into a place quickly! We got him into a temporary unit while the permanent one was set up. I could not have been any happier with the service and time given to me and the situation I was thrown into. Plus Dad is now really enjoying his new home!! Thank you!!

What we like the most about Overland Park Place is that there is a lot of opportunities to connect with other residents. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Overall, I am satisfied with the experience. The caring staff is really caring and establish genuine human contact, which is the most important.

It's a very nice place, comfortable, people are friendly, staff are very accommodating. I highly recommend Overland Park Place to anyone looking for retirement living.

Based on our experience so far, there are continuing problems with the phone system and the food quality varies from poor to good

The weekend staff does not always respond quickly to my Dads buzzer. He is a level 3 meaning he needs help with all transfers and so is dependent on someone to help him go anywhere or get things . The building is clean, Dad had to raise some hell to get his room on the cleaning schedule. Everyone is friendly enough. I feel most of the employees do a good job. Dad isn't always happy with the meals. The activity directors come and go quickly. My dad loves bingo- so in between directors, the residents do it on a schedule themselves. it is very expensive so I wish some of the help were more responsive on the weekends. Overall- I would pick Tiffany Springs again though

It is nice that there are all private rooms on the unit where my Mom lives. They have daily activities to engage and stimulate the residents that are quite varied.

I recently visited my sister and find her apartment very nice and the staff friendly. They recently have a new chef and she is interested in the residents opinion and found the food appealing. I find the elderly hard to deal with so each have their own opinions whether it be nice or not.
