It was a great experience. The staff was friendly. Starting care was pretty easy and straight forward. We really did have a pleasant experience.

My was the resident, overall the experience was good. It was OK and certainly acceptable. I would recommend this community to others who are currently searching.

The staff is so caring and responsive and yes we would absolutely recommend Park Place of West Knoxville to other families based on the experience so far.

Staff(ALF). Other than some complaints about food from our family member, we have been very happy with the ALF. Our family member spent much time in their Rehab facility with lower happiness. They worked hard to accommodate our timeline with time in and out of the hospital.

The food could be improved. Clean the carpets. Activities Director was excellent.

Most of the staff was friendly and responsive...not enough nurses for amount of patients which is typical of most nursing homes. Activities were interactive and sometimes creative. Food was average, dining experience and dining room were good. My dad's room was overall too small, otherwise ok. My mom's room was a little more spacious and it had nice cabinets in the kitchenette and bathrooms.

We chose Brenden Gardens for the facility in that it had individual apartments and included meals. The location is good because it's near the highway making convenient to doctors and hospitals and there is a very nice Southwind city park very close.

Our mother lived at Cottonwood for 14 years. The staff, [name removed], [name removed] and others were very caring and did there best to keep her comfortable and keep us informed about her condition. Mom always partipated in, and enjoyed, the variety of activities that were available. During her later time there, she needed more assistance and St Croix Hospice aided in her care giving , also doing an excellent job. She moved to another facility later in her life when she required 24/7 care.

Making this move has been extremely challenging, difficult emotionally as well as physically and financially. But once we got settled in, we noticed that the employees are very nice, very friendly and helpful.

Easy to work through the signing process; kind staff; clean, lively, new facility; good food (at least the two meals I had, but Mom said it's inconsistent); and definitely use the moving service they recommend. They totally saved us. I can't speak much to the day to day, eg response to service needs, or social engagement. I live in California, and I'm not sure how much Mom is embracing those aspects yet. The ground floor door leading to the courtyard is not ADA accessible. I don't know if that applies to all of the doors, but I witnessed a couple trying to get out that would not have been able to do so had I not been there. He had a cane, and was pushing her in a wheelchair. The door is very heavy. He couldn't figure out how to keep the door open long enough to push her through. This feels like a very big oversight to me for a building that is now over a year old and houses elderly folks.

What we like the most about Brandon Woods are the people and the activities. What we think they could improve on would be to have more rails for the residents to hold on to. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

They could improve on the maintenance requests completion timeline. Apartment cleaning. Mom is fairly new and we are still experiencing the home and their services. I love the structure of the building. The building floor plan is open and it does not feel that you are walking into a hospital or hotel. The sales team was very helpful and made the move in a pleasant one for mom

The staff is friendly and helpful, and were responsive timely to needs. They genuinely showed caring and empathy. The facility had recent updates made and was warm and inviting.

My mother says the residents are really friendly which helped her transition to the community. I find the staff super friendly and I love the grounds and location (right next to a park with a pond) wow!! The price to live there is a bargain as long as you're in independent living. Rent includes 2 meals is a great perk (hope this doesn't go away) and the rooms are spacious. Great place!! I also love the architecture of the buildings!

Overall I think she is happy living there. She doesn't like the food. They have had meetings on this with management. So hopefully that will change. Repairs are done but very slow process. The door to her closet did works properly. They said they needed to order new wheels. It took awhile to fix it. Living in an assisted living facility is a change but they can adjust and really enjoy it if they want to.

Staff were very friendly and caring. Activities were great and the coordinator checked on my mom personally. Dining was adequate, but limited choices. I feel that nursing staff could be a little more involved and it was very difficult to speak with a doctor.

Oak Woods Manor is a really nice, clean & since of calm homey feeling when you enter. Everyone is very friendly & inviting. They have some entertainment things for the residents to do. A little repetitive. Wish there were more on the weekend. Food is fantastic! My mom has dementia, I wish they would give her more reminders about things.

We appreciate [name removed] and the staff. Mom enjoys the company of the residents and convenience of services. We wish the shuttle was available every day.
