Impressed with this independent living facility. Overall the building looked well taken care of, people were very friendly. I loved the outside gardens and treed landscaping. Lots of areas to get outside. Prices seemed reasonable. Meal plan and other services were good. Size of apartments were adequate. Located in the area I wanted.

My husband and I enjoyed meeting [name removed] and touring the facility. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with the floor plans available for a one bedroom. The initial person I spoke with at A Place For Mom believed that the one bedroom plan had an en suite. We looked at the floorplans with [name removed] and the en suite is only for the independent living. I am looking at assisted-living for my mom and she definitely needs an en suite bathroom– it is just too far for her to walk in the night through the living area in the dark. unfortunately, this has been a much bigger problem than I had anticipated as many of the facilities do not have en suite bathroom. I had hoped A Place For Mom could help me narrow down the ones that do have an en suite – but I was told to look at the floor plans and call the facilities myself. Which I am slowly doing.

For the past nine years, and until recently, Saint Paul's Senior Living Center has been my mother's home. Because of the fine personal care and affordability she has thrived throughout her time there, up to her 102nd birthday this past June. Because of recent changes and developing care needs, we jointly made the decision to provide for her care closer to my residence where I could meet with her every day, rather than one or two days a week (I live just under two hours from St. Paul's). My providing a five star rating for all aspects of care provided by the home may seem strange, but truly, St. Paul's excels in all these areas. Oh, BTW, the facility was remodeled and refurbished just a couple of years ago.

5 stars! It's a wonderful place! The food is excellent, there are a lot of activities. I would recommend the community to others who are searching for senior living.

It's very clean, with attentive staff, good admin, and they are welcoming. Every single staff member knows my mom's name and says hello in the hallway.

My stay at St Paul has been subperb. I have began eating better,, not worrying about getting to and from the doctor, I have met great professional people at the resident and I am Happy, at peace and love my apartment as if it was like the home I left.

My tour went very well. I was impressed with the knowledge and kindness I was shown. My questions about the facility, insurance and the general process of entering into the next phase of my life were met with honesty and concern for my well being. Even though I'm not quite ready to take that step I feel more confident knowing that when the time is right, I'll know what I want and how to do it. Thanks to all!

Our overall experience at Morningside has been spot on. My mom is doing so much better and the change in her attitude unbelievable. She is happy, smiling again and has so many new friends. She loves all of the activities and especially the workouts that they do in the mornings. Mom always brags about the food and how many options that she has to choose from. The staff is awesome...always ready to help with anything. Thanks to everyone for helping take care of my mom.

5 across the board I am very pleased. I enjoy being here. The housekeeping is good and lighting is bright and warm. The staff is helpful with computer problems and other tasks. The physical therapists are helping me recover from shoulder surgery. We get regular visits from hearing specialists . Religious seriousness are available .

Grand Meadows was the cleanest , brightest place. Cheery, lots of activity. The staff was above and beyond excellent. The food not so much, lots of residents were unhappy with it. Comfort food would have been much better.

McKay Manor has been an excellent choice for our loved one. His studio apartment suits him very well; it is a bright atmosphere, and the housekeeping staff clean it weekly. All of the staff are very friendly, caring, and helpful to him and to his visitors. He enjoys greatly the meal time experiences and the food they provide three times a day. He gets medical care from his in-house nurse practitioner on a monthly basis. He is able to come and go as he pleases. He is very happy, and so are we!

My comment would be; overall this is a great place to live. The people who live and work here are awesome and caring. I feel like the community here takes care and are genuinely concerned about each other. We are in many ways like an extended family that attends to each other's daily needs. Like any place where a group of people live this place has its issues. And in the 8 months I've lived here I've seen things cycle from good to sort of good to not so good and heading back towards good. Housekeeping and the quality of food are probably my biggest concerns. I think food issues will always be a problem no matter where you live in this type of community settings. I feel like TS has and are continuing to address the issues. Things don't change over night. As for Housekeeping issues... I have pretty high standards... I feel like the overall cleanliness of the building continues to be a struggle. While clean in the main areas the corners and "unseen" areas are not as frequently cleaned as they should be. I say this understanding that hiring good quality and keeping workers in this field is a struggle. I would encourage seniors to check us out! And would have no problem suggesting Tiffiany Springs as a great place to live. I would add that during a crisis situation... a water pipe bust in the attic due to the subzero temperatures, not only did ALL of our administration show up on a Sunday night but they helped physically (themselves) move those apartments affected to dry rooms. Over the course of the following days each and everyone one of the helped pack and temporarily move their things. This administration went out of their way to make sure each resident felt safe and was informed at what had happened. Then when the apartments were "fixed" the administration helped them move back into their apartments.

What I liked about The Crossings is first and foremost [Name Removed]. He gave us the tour of the facilities and went above and beyond when working with us to get my brother-in-law the place he wanted. His patience and flexibility was a refreshing experience. The independent living cottage is spacious and provides ample living space. The corner lot makes it even nicer

We were warmly greeted and informed of the many amenities the agency has to offer. This will be a great place for my family member when he makes up his mind to move in.

Our experience in placing our mother in Rolling Meadows was extremely kind and efficient. They helped us get her things into her new apartment and are always there for her no matter what she needs. The place is clean, comfy and homey. It does not have that institutional feel other places have had when we checked them out for her. She is allowed to keep her little dog and they made sure we knew anything mom needed help with , even with her dog, was never ever a problem. There is always someone walking in the halls with a smile and honestly, I could ask for a better place for mom. I’m so grateful for this place and the people in it every single day.

I was impressed by Overland Park Place…so much so that I plan to be moving there soon. It was clean, attractive and seemed like a happy spot. My mother was a resident there 20 years ago, and I recall visiting her there quite a lot, and we had fun times. Their food was good, and it actually seems to have improved. I think I’ll enjoy living there!

I love that my mom is provided meals and all the social opportunities. It provides safety without taking away independence. There are opportunities for her to get out every week and to make new friends and have new experiences although she no longer drives.

While touring the facility I became very impressed with the staff and the overall cleanliness of the facility. The residents are very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful, place with GREAT food. Friendly people there too! They have many things to keep the people there busy, and they all seemed very happy!

It's quiet, but the people are a very friendly and positive group. The complex only offers basic support, but is excellent and proactive about helping find additional support if needed.
