Overall I think she is happy living there. She doesn't like the food. They have had meetings on this with management. So hopefully that will change. Repairs are done but very slow process. The door to her closet did works properly. They said they needed to order new wheels. It took awhile to fix it. Living in an assisted living facility is a change but they can adjust and really enjoy it if they want to.

Staff were very friendly and caring. Activities were great and the coordinator checked on my mom personally. Dining was adequate, but limited choices. I feel that nursing staff could be a little more involved and it was very difficult to speak with a doctor.

Oak Woods Manor is a really nice, clean & since of calm homey feeling when you enter. Everyone is very friendly & inviting. They have some entertainment things for the residents to do. A little repetitive. Wish there were more on the weekend. Food is fantastic! My mom has dementia, I wish they would give her more reminders about things.

We appreciate [name removed] and the staff. Mom enjoys the company of the residents and convenience of services. We wish the shuttle was available every day.

Only thing keeping this from a 5 is maintenance. Routine maintenance is lacking. Examples are changing of furnace filters. Cleaning of outdoor air conditioner units (ie. Fins are not cleaned until the system cannot cool to a comfortable 72 degrees. Individual work orders are required by renters when these things fail.

Can't say enough good things about the cna's. The RN staff not so much. They kept Dad long after he should have been moved to a nursing home.

Staff is great. Facility has many great amenities, and the community culture is good. They have had a couple of changes regarding food/head chef over the past year, and hope to see it rebound to its former 5-star status.

While my mother has enjoyed living here. I do feel that we were mislead during the tour about certain things. Interim Healthcare that they claim is their in house healthcare provider [name removed] LPN, never once returned a phone call in over 2 months to set my mother up for additional care, and their onsite office never had anyone there, I tried different days and times, and literally nobody was ever there. This was one of the main features that drew us to this property, as the Director [name removed] stated "care in place". We were also told that 3 meals a day were provided in the dinning room, but we were not told she would have assigned eating times, if she doesn't make her assigned time, she doesn't eat. She never gets to eat breakfast, as her assigned time is before she wakes up, and no there isn't a refund available. Also on Saturday and Sunday they do not get to eat in the dinning room for dinner, they are given a to go box at lunch for their dinner. Her room flooded, clogged drain.

I see so many things at Park Square Manor. I see love and happy residents. I see great, smiling, happy employees and I see employees and caregivers that could use some training in the hospitality department. I think her name is [name removed], she is or was a hair stylist. She might slightly smile but I have heard and seen things about her that I’m not comfortable with. [name removed] is great. [name removed] is warm and always helpful. [name removed] is awesome as well. As for the rest, hospitality class!! I would recommend this facility but keep your eyes on some.

I was not informed with the first visit that a years lease was required. It was when we were at the appointment to sign the lease they first informed us. They led me to believe that it would be possible to leave if an issue with my daughter's health changed we would not be held to the full lease. My daughter passed [date removed]. We moved her out in October and she came home. I believe we did end up paying November's rent but none after. [name removed] lease would have been up in May.

I was under a terrible time constraint and they were wonderful, patient, helpful and worked within my availability to help get my loved one into a place. They made a horribly stressful situation much less!

It's been a great place for us. Although, there seems to be quite a bit of staff turnover lately.

The community activities are outstanding. Communication at times could be improved on but overall our loved ones experience is good

It's only been a month, but I actually feel at home already. Staff is excellent, food is good and everyone is super friendly. I highly recommend this place. A very solid 4. The staffing issue in the dining room is the only thing worth mentioning. And I am certain that it's being addressed.

Note ; Not like it was presented to me to get me to move in . Not much contact with person doing the leasing once you sign contract pretty much on your own. Had a lot of residents move out since I have been here due to food and costs . Very shot staff as far as kitchen

I would say that people are very friendly and the admission process was easy and all our questions were answered! The food is great and the front desk and building supervisor are very helpful! It's been fully updated and is a lovely location! We are very pleased!

I lived out of the state and the Marketing Director facilitated all aspects of my move to Brenden Gardens. Finding movers was my biggest concern and she recommended a company that took care of all aspects of my move. She did her best to get me concessions that minimized my overall moving costs. Now that I am here at Brenden Gardens I feel comfortable and safe and I enjoy not having to cook unless I want to. Thank you

The staff is very accommodating to requests and does a good job with individualized care, especially when it comes to getting to know the resident well enough to comfort them in times of unfamiliarity. The staff is also demonstrated extreme patience which is very appreciated.

The CNA's that helped take care of my dad at end of life stages, were amazing. They helped me through the most difficult time of my life.

The staff at Carnegie Village is stable they do not use agency. They are caring and attentive to your loved one. The place is large and requires use of an elevator for most folks to get to activities and meals. Overall good programing and solid consistent care at this place.
