My husband is getting very good care at this community and we are pleased. This is a more mellow community compared to some of the other more active community's. He is doing very well and he is improving. It is a very nice and clean community. The staff has been very nice and helpful. There aren't many activities, but that is understandable. The CNA's are great at what they do. The food is good and tasty. They have a different set of residents, more mellow and calm. So I would recommend it if your loved one isn't very active.

There are many options around Champaign County. Bridle Brook has had it's ups and downs over the years but now that they are under new ownership, things are moving in the right direction. The new owners care about the facility and are not afraid to invest back into the community. The current management team inherited former company challenges, but are diligently working on improvements. Overall, when visiting the facility, residents are always out and about, happy and doing something fun. Including residents in their memory care section. I've visited with there is music, dancing, arts & crafts, I'm impressed with the variety of activities that I see happening with these residents, as I've been to other facilities that the memory care residents are left on their own to tread water.

We started searching for a place for our Mom several months before we were ready to place her. She stayed with family for one year, and then it became obvious that we needed help. It broke our hearts to have to move her so we were very particular (and anxious) about placing her, and many tears were shed. When the time came, it was a unanimous decision amongst the siblings. I'm confident the only reason the rating is not full 5-star is because we have not been there long enough to work out all of the kinks. Management has an open-door policy and they receive our feedback with pleasant attitudes and willingness to make changes as necessary. There are many activities, although a few are probably a bit over the residents' comprehension level. The rooms are much nicer than any others we looked at. All are private and more like studio apartments with a separate bedroom area and a small kitchenette. Every day we are thankful we chose Stratford. It gives us peace of mind. Above all, Mom is happy most of the time, which is realistically the best we can expect. You should seriously consider Stratford, and hope they have an opening for your loved one!

The staff here is great. They are helpful and they communicate well with us. The building is always clean and fresh smelling. The level of care here is great and they go above and beyond to make sure the people here are well take care of.

He is in transition. We are all trying to learn each other, but everything seems to be falling into place as we all get adjusted to the situation.

It's really nice. My dad really likes it there. The food has been good he really likes it. I think they were pretty comparable to others in the area that we looked at. I can't really think of anything that needs to be improved or done better.

I think they do a pretty good job I have no complaints.

Could always be cheaper. And needs a transport with a lift.

My mother was a resident atFloyd Place unfortunately for only 2wks before taken to the hospital with pneumonia. She passed away 5 days later. She was very happy there and loved the staff. Chelsey and Lindsey were very caring and helpful. She really took to Andrea who was very patient, caring, thoughtful, funny and full of life! My mom could not wait to see her each day. My sisters and I only wish mom would have had more time there.. Couldn't have asked for a better place for her to reside!!!! Hats off to you all for running such a wonderful place for seniors to live.Keep up the GREAT JOB!

I toured it last summer and my parents have been there a year, they are very happy and I feel they are safe

I was looking for my mom, and was told by a friend who's mother lives at oak woods, we loved it and moved in mom

My mother recently passed away. She spent her last years at Pathfinder House/Place and I couldn't be more grateful that she did. I will admit there was a time the building had some areas of inconsistency. In the last 3 years since the administrator Eric took over things have been very good. My mom felt like she was at home with family, and we felt like we were embraced into a vary special family as well. I was amazed when staff that had moved on whether it was to nursing school or other jobs came back to visit mom when she took a turn. I can't speak enough about the staff and particularly how Eric made the last 3 years of my moms life so very special. When he visited in the hospital the night she passed the smile on that he put on her face, brings tears of gratitude to my eyes even now. Not the biggest place in Fremont, but the biggest heart.

At this point they are doing very well. I don't have any major concerns. It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. It's almost like a hotel or a resort. It's still new, but so far, I am very happy with it.

About five years ago my then 91 year old mother wanted to move from here senior living apartments on the Northeast side of Indy. We visited almost every assisted living facility on the north side if the city to find the best one for her needs. That exercise paid off because after meeting with Vicky Meier and taking a tour, my mother was completely impressed with the entire package including care, price, location and value. According to my mother, THE most important feature in a senior living facility is the quality and verity of the meals. After five years of living at the Forum, she still brags about the quality of the meal service. My wife and I usually have lunch with mom on Hloidays. We always experience a quality well prepared meal too. Last year my mother wanted to move to a ground level apartment from the third floor. Before she moved in they completely refurbished the apartment. New granite countertops, carpeting, fresh coat of paint and built-in microwave. It was like a brand new apartment.

Most caring and warm staff. Lovely facilities. Good food!

I would like to write a review for Cottonwood Assisted Living due to the fact that I feel they provide Exceptional Care to their residents. I have provided nursing visits in this facility and have been a Registered Nurse in the area for over 30 years. I must say that for an Assisted Living, Cottonwood does an outstanding job. Many Assisted Living Communities are unable to provide care to their patients as needs progress and become a higher level. But, at Cottonwood this is not the case. They grow with the patients through their changing needs. I feel they do an outstanding job with memory care patients. They work in collaboration with home health and hospice agencies as well to provide the highest level of care for their residents. As a health care worker in the community of Columbus, I would highly recommend Cottonwood Place.

The people that work here have been terrific to us. They have gone out of their way to help us get my father settled.

Forest Creek Commons was the best place we found on the south side of Indy we found. Very clean great food i trust the people there to take care of mom.

We use both the assisted living and memory care areas. The assisted living is a little cleaner than the memory care. The assisted also has a little better response time. We have a couple of little issues with the memory care side. I understand it's difficult with memory care and the type of residents, but it could be a little cleaner and there have been some trouble with the laundry. They were the nicest, cleanest, and the staff was friendlier than the other places we looked at. The food is good.

McKay Manor is an Awsome place to be! The staff is so kind and helpful. They are here in minutes to help you, wether you fall or just need their help! The food is really Good! The activities are fun! Overall I love it here! You have your inde penance, but, have help if you need!! The apartments are really nice and spacious.
