I think this is a wonderful place. People are welcome and friendly. People genuinely like to be there. People are social and they have outings, which are open to suggestions. If someone has a concern, then they are addressed fairly quickly. The only disappointment I have, is their in-house medical opportunity. For minor things the medical opportunities are great, but for more in depth things, they have a very big break down within communication. This community progresses with your stages of health, from retirement, to assisted living, to bed rest. The community also has all paid utilities, meals, and free bus rides.

I love that my Dad can live independently again. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. They just had a complete change in management and I am confused as to why they did that and so I don't have a feel for that aspect yet. I do wish they could accommodate special dietary restrictions on an individual basis, but I'm afraid they would classify that as needing more individual care than independent living allows. Right now its a good value though, and we really can't afford any more.

Creekside staff is wonderful: caring, compassionate people who go the extra mile for their residents. The apartments are spacious, bright and comfortable with residents able to control their own thermostats. I like the way the dining room is set up: like a restaurant, meals are served all day long, with lunch being the major meal of the day. (Their cobblers are terrific, and note the salad bar!) Because you're not paying for high-end real estate in Atlanta, residents get more of a bang for their buck at Creekside. The monthly fee -- currently $1,900 -- includes three daily meals, utilities and onsite activities.

The staff is marvelous! It is good to have managers living on site. I wish there was assisted living, but they allow private caregivers. My parents have a lovely bright apartment. (I could easily live there.) The other residents are very nice as well.

It was very nice, and I liked everything, but it was very big and spread out, and I thought it would have been a long walk for her to get around. They also seemed to be a little younger mix of people, and they seemed to have a lot of things going on. Every room was a different price, they were all a different shape and square footage.

The thing I would recommend is that on Fridays there is no shuttle service, having shuttle service on Friday would be good. We chose it based on location, cleanliness and price. It seems to be a place where people are friendly. I haven't had any complaints about laundry or food, so far.

I visited this one on the 5th. Older, but well kept location; farthest of the three from my home. Residents were very gregarious while having lunch. Very welcoming environment.

This would be the best place for my parents, but the cost is too high. Everyone seems friendly. Residents appeared that they liked it there. A red flag raised up while we were leaving. I asked a resident if he likes living here, and he stated 'I would be careful'

We found the managers (the Marlowes) to be warm and helpful. My mom-in-law, who is a very picky eater, likes the food!

This is a wonderful place! The residents are great and have been there for a long time and they seem to really enjoy thier life style. It's a good choice for someone who wants some independence but also needs social activities

Nice & clean. Very large & open community spaces. Some apartments have an interior front door with a back door to the courtyard. Others have the front door in the courtyard and a patio/private yard door. Less expensive due to no health care.

Nice community. Very friendly. Staff available to answer questions. Managers live on site. CONS: Location. Hot weather. Third party sourced out for residential additional needs.

This was the location we selected for my loved one, and we're pleased with it. It's a nice looking place, it is an older building but they obviously take very good care of it. I liked how it was a single floor, I didn't want my loved one to have to worry about stairs or elevators. The staff were very knowledgeable and knew just the right questions to ask to be able to provide more personal care. They were much more flexible in terms of their care philosophy than other communities we looked at.

They had great food, fantastic food! It was a nice place, it used to be an old hotel, it's like 5 stories, and they have 2 actual chefs. The dining room is just beautiful and seats like 130 people. It's independent living, not assisted living. They are a good group of people over there.

Value is pretty good. My mom is living there, and she has been pretty happy with them. She goes to the YMCA three times a week for swimming and she likes that quite a bit. I like that they seem to be very attentive and know all the residents. She has a washer and dryer in her room, which was a big plus. She's in independent living and she gets three meals a day, but doesn't always go down and actually eats them. She doesn't particularly like the food, and that is her one complaint.

I thought this place was nice. They tried several times to get us to come and try the food. Apparently they heard about the food not being so great at other places and they were bragging about how good their food was. We never got a chance to try it though because my mom didn't want to be in Ogden.

Harrison Regent was a little older. They were nice but I liked a few other facilities a little better. If my mom decided she was going to live in Ogden we probably would have gone with Harrison Regent but she decided she wanted to stay in Salt Lake. We liked the availability and the cost and the professionalism of the staff. I was very impressed with that.

I hate to be negative but when my mom first moved in we had some issues with maintenence, like to get the orders done. She had a problem getting the cable hooked up and Dunwoody is responsible for that because cable is included in the rent. I haven't eaten in the dining facility but twice and that was when we were first looking but she has had some complaints. When you ask for something that's different from what they're serving, it takes them a very long time to get it out. Her and the people who sit at her table have actually left without getting anything because it's taken so long to get it out. They do have a management meeting, they have had meetings with the residents, I think twice since my mom has been there and that has been brought up but I don't know if they're doing anything about it. They were competitively priced compared to a lot of other places and they do offer assistance on an a la carte basis and you pay extra for that but they offer it in house.
