The only complaint that my mother has is that the food is a little bland. I know they have a lot of people with heart problems and such and therefore they cannot have a lot of salt or spicy foods, but if there was a way to make the food a little more flavorful that would be good. Everything else about them has been very positive. I have been very well pleased with the level of care and service we are getting for the money.

I recently spent a week with my mom and stayed in her studio apartment. The food was gourmet level with great variety and generosity portions (very affordable for me as a guest). There were so many activities offered that we couldn't have participated in all of them. Those we did join were fun and well organized. The staff are very hard working and committed to excellence. What impressed me most was their genuine love and concern for each resident and guest. When staff in positions from housekeeper to head chef - and especially the resident managers - invite and act on feedback regularly, you know you are in a very special place. Special kudos to the activity director - the best I have ever met in any setting! I toured a couple of one bedroom apartments and was highly impressed by the varied layouts and great value for the price, especially for the location. Potential residents and staff are interviewed carefully to be sure that they will fit well in and contribute to a positive, encouraging environment. There just aren't enough superlatives for this place. We kids are satisfied that this the best possible place our mom could live.

My parents moved in a couple months ago. The facility is well maintained, they enjoys the activities, and the staff have been nice overall. They say the meals prepared in the kitchen are pretty decent, but can be a bit bland sometimes. Not everyone likes a lot of spice though, so it is understandable.

Both the managers at Brook Ridge listen really well and work with the people. I myself did not need any special care, but I observed how well they worked with those that did. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

All the personnel and management at the Continental in Austin, Texas were very accommodating and helpful. The facility was found to be well maintained and the food was good. My parents immediately felt right at home and are excited to be moving there. The residents have welcomed them there, also. This has been a very good experience.

I work as an independent caregiver, not on staff with Garden Way, and upon a temporary hire with a resident today, I was very pleasantly surprised and comforted by the rich environment, friendly, warm staffing, quality food and clean, elegant surroundings. The amenities are abundant, easily accessible and of high quality. I would consider this as a placement for one of my own family members,

Go for it! They only serve white bread and they don’t have a notary public on site. They have a very open and helpful management team! The staff is very friendly. They’re just a very lovely community. Compared to other communities I’ve had experience with, it’s a good value.

A very nice place. My dad loves it. The staff is awesome.

So far I love it love it, I am thrilled to death with it. The only thing is that I wish they had more outings, they do have activities but mostly it's cards. They are very, very, friendly. They treat you with dignity. The laundry room doesn't need coins, and it gives you a feeling that you are more in a community than a commercial place. The food is very good, the chef comes out before each meal and says this is on the menu and today I got a really good buy on strawberries so we are also gonna have strawberry waffles, or the spinach looked so good, and he talks to you about why he chose whatever it is. They keep them informed of what they are doing and why with everything.

After MUCH research while looking for a friendly, affordable living place for my 90 year old mother, I decided to call and visit Clairmont. I remembered them being recommended by several friends whose parents had stayed there. It is the staff that makes the difference at Clairmont--they are informative, accessible, warm and helpful both to the residents and to the family. Hugs are free :) and there are lots of them. Mom is delighted with her apartment and patio, the staff, the food, and the friends she has made after only a few days--and so are we. She doesn't have time to work the daily puzzle with all her activities there. Thanks, Clairmont

This place is wonderful. It has literally changed my life for the better and my mom is extremely happy there. The staff is unbelievably helpful, patient and kind. Despite not having any official nursing care, they are well-equipped and willing in emergency situations. They festively celebrate holidays and provide lots of manageable activities. It is also very clean.

They have good food and our loved one is really happy here. When we were looking at communities our loved one did not want to go into one and was fighting it the entire time. Then we put our loved on in Deer Park and they love it there now. We were pleasantly surprised on how much she is enjoying the community. The best part is that it is clean and even smells clean there is no odor in this community. We are very pleased with them.

There have been several things they weren't very good about answering or addressing. Living so far away, there are questions I have and am dependent on them for answers.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Amenities include access to laundry rooms, weekly apartment cleaning, 3 meals a day with a range of options and daily specials, and numerous social activities. The studio apartment has a sufficient amount of space and storage, includes a small fridge and small sink.

[Name Removed] at Waterford was information and helpful. There is a large variation in floor plans at Waterford, creating a slightly different layout from the model visit to the actual apartment received (slightly different size, layout, amenities) [Name Removed] was responsive and flexible with helping us determine the best options for my parents.

Mom's care team has been great. The nurses are engaged with her and they reach out to me if needed. The head of nursing recognized that Mom would benefit from receiving hospice care and initiated the process for Care360 Hospice to provide additional support. The weekend receptionist, [name removed], has been very helpful as we adjust to this new environment for Mom, and head of maintenance [name removed] was great to work with when we moved furniture to the facility. My only real complaint is with the administrative staff, particularly the executive director [name removed]. She was slow to schedule the intake & evaluation process, which kept Mom in the hospital for 3-4 days longer than necessary. And it is difficult to get [name removed] to return calls. I was initially getting a weekly update call, but now I only get calls when there is a concern. I do visit Mom once a week on the weekends, but I don't always know how she's doing the rest of the time. I also don't get much guidance about how I can support Mom, such as if she would benefit from a certain type of clothing, toiletries, or personal items. I'm mostly happy with how things are going for Mom at Sage Park. And I know the staff is working hard to take care of some challenging situations. Our transition into memory care happened abruptly and unexpectedly, so it was a lot for me to process in a short amount of time. Ideally, it would be great if they had some additional administrative staffing, but I know that means more overhead expenses.

It was a wonderful experience all the way around. The staff and cleanliness were great. The food was good but the could have more fresh vegetables.

The staff have been great...supportive. The community is friendly, caring and active.

The staff is well trained and most are very experienced. They are compassionate and respectful but the place may be a little under staffed at times. We experienced a couple of problems but they were resolved through communication. The food is very good and the food service is good. The staff helps those residents that need help feeding themselves. The facility is kept very clean and security is top notch. The administration is very communicative with the family.
