Belleview Heights: What can I say other than what a good experience I have encountered there after having to put my wife of 49 years there and into what I have found as very capable hands. Just so one knows, my findings are not for the short term. My wife has been there for approximately 18 months. Findings are consistent over this term. There are so many attributes to Belleview Heights that I have found that it would take and make for a long list. Starting with management, to nursing staff to care attendees. It has been exceptional. Of course my wife is totally unaware of situation. But, they (Belleview Height) has continued to show her the respect she deserves as an individual. Facility is maintained in the cleanest of environments. Food appears nutritional for residents and the friendliness of the staff to myself and my wife is consistent. Recommendation of Belleview Heights does and will come easily base on personal experiences.

My good friend lived there for 11 years. Friendly staff, and I loved the open layout, no long corridors where you never saw anyone. Great location and super nice management

Love living here. Good food, staff and residents. All levels of teh staff are friendly and helpful. The other residents are so sweet and make this feel like one big family. Lots to do too!

Windsor Heights has been very good for my mom. I’ve been very impressed and the place is great. This is a private pay facility and the price you pay includes everything. Their care is excellent and it’s just been a quality place. The staff seems to really care about the residents there and they take the time to watch them and make sure they’re kept safe. They’re very compassionate and overall very good. The occupational therapy and physical therapy is what I’m not happy with though. The people they have doing that are mediocre. They should be more engaged with the resident and with the family members. They don’t return phone calls and I have to track them down just to talk to them. I just don’t think they’re getting the maximum effect when working with my mom. Something that the facility lacks is an actual area for the physical therapy; there isn’t a designated area with weights and things like that so they have to bring the physical therapy into the facility instead of it already being there. The food is okay, there’s a lot of variety, and it at least seems well balanced and nutritious. Some of the residents need help with being fed and the staff really goes out of their way to help them but in a dignified way.

I am an 85 year old resident of The Continental Retirement Community. After my husband died in 2010, I lived alone for four years in my home in De Soto, Texas. Even with many friends, I found living alone was not the best situation for me. I have a son, his wife and one grandson living in South Austin, so this was the ideal place to resettle. Together we looked at several other facilities. The decision was easy, we found The Continental ideal for my needs. The thing that attracted me most was the friendliness of all the staff, the servers in the dinning room and all the residents we met. Another big attraction was having my own washer and dryer in my apartment. This has meant so much not having to go down the hall to do my laundry. I have lived here for almost three years and still love where I live. I feel as if God led me here to this great place. I am looking forward to many years at The Continental.

I can not say enough about how great this community is. The food is good and they deliver the meals to our room. The staff are excellent and accommodating. They allow pets and I would highly recommend this community.

My mom is doing great and she loves it there. This was her pick, mostly because she knew someone here and it was more fitting for her. The community is clean and smelled good. The residents are active, she exercises and walks around the building. The residents get incentives for doing little things and they can use the "money" to buy what they like at the auction.

This is a really nice place I really like living here. The community is clean. They have an excellent staff they really care about the residents in every way. When I first came here I was having some back problems to the point where I was not able to go to the dining area and eat so the staff members brought me my meals up and never once complained that it was an inconvenience to do so, in fact, it was the opposite. Most of the time the food is really well. The main reason I chose this place was due to the location of it close to friends. I would recommend it

My stay at Deer Park is going smoothly! They are sure to cater to my needs and requests. Though there have been a few changes in management, everything else seems to stay fairly consistent. The food is good, and I am pleased with the activities that they have to offer.

Made my mom feel at home as soon as we moved her in. Great food and everything is what they advertised.

I had a chance to speak with the staff at Quail Ridgeand I thought it was a great place. It was a beautiful facility but it was not priced within our budget. Also, I wanted my parents to stay close to where they were living so friends and family could continue to visit them.

They are mostly orientated for independent seniors. There are plenty of residents who have wheelchairs or walkers. They do offer private rooms. They did have an issue with there not being staff over the weekend.My mother needed some assistance getting up and they didn't have a staff member available. I addressed this concern and I was told that they don;t always have someone to help residents. The food is okay it's nothing exciting but they do have a lot of variety. I would like to see more vegetables and healthy options. I think they give good portions for seniors to eliminate waste.I tried a dish there and it wasn't as healthy as it was advertised as and wasn't very exciting. I would like to see her get more involved with stuff. I chose Capital Place because they offered a lot of amenities for an affordable cost.

My mom has been at Capital Place for 1 week now. She is very happy. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to keep busy. The bus is available for her appointments. She loves her apartment. She told me that the place feels like home and that said it all.

My dad is fine on the retirement side of the community. He has tried some activities and has made some friends. He likes the meals they make. It is is flavorful not spicy and properly cooked, he is able to chew his food with no issues. They have a barber shop in the community and he has got his hair cut once and liked the way it looked. This was a nicer, cleaner place and he liked the apartment with the pool, spa, and extra amenities.

Moving to Creekside Pines has been a very positive experience for Mom. After living alone for 28 years (after Dad died), we were worried that Mom would have a hard time adjusting to a new environment, a new way of life. Turned out those fears were completely unfounded. Everything has worked out better than expected. The food is great and nutritious. The residents have made her feel at home, and she already has some new good friends. The wide range of activities have given her things to look forward to. The facilities are clean and inviting (my daughter, aged 31, said she would like to move in!). And the office staff is very helpful and professional. When we changed her bank account for the auto payment, instead of just assuming everything was right the staff reached out to me just to be 100% certain everything was setup properly. Instead of waiting for a possible problem, they got out ahead of it. Highly recommend Creekside Pines.

My mother is doing well here at this community. I'am pleased with all they have done for us. The staff is great, they have been helpful and friendly. There are activities offered for the residents. The meals are okay. They do a good job keeping the community neat and tidy. I know she is being cared well. This is a nice community and I would recommend.

Excellent caring staff!

We moved my mother to Quail Lodge a month ago from out of state. It has been a big adjustment for her but she seems to be settling in. She had been living on her own with a companion 3 times a week, and occasional visits from family. She was alone a lot and was without much socialization. She has some memory loss and does not drive. She needs help with meal planning, shopping and scheduling. At Quail Lodge, she maintains some independence by having a private apartment, yet she can have socialization daily in the dining room and with the activity options. She has a lovely balcony where she can have her plants, and sit outside for her morning tea or afternoon reading. We have found the staff at Quail Lodge to be friendly, responsive and helpful. Everyone from concierge to management, housekeeper, hairdresser, and dining staff have been welcoming to Mom. They truly seem to care about the residents and their well-being. I just asked Mom what she thinks about Quail Lodge and she says, "they really make me feel that I can be more independent for this next phase of my life." She feels that being at Quail Lodge will relieve some of the care responsibilities for her children.

This community has been awesome and is going good. They are very clean and on top of maintaining the facility. I think the food is fabulous and amazing, they have a top-notch chef. My dad has participated in a few activities.

It has been a wonderful experience living at Creekside Pines. The people are great and very friendly. The only downside I can see is that they allow pets and the pets do not always make it outside in time. The community is beautiful and well kept. The food is good and they feed you to much. I would recommend this community. Thank you to A Place for Mom for all their help.
