This facility has been pretty good so far. Housekeeping is good overall, mom's room is kept clean. Mom has had no complaints on the food and it looks like good quality from what I've seen. They do discourage eating with your loved one in the dining area so as not to be disruptive to other residents. They prefer you dine with them in a separate area. Mom has participated in some activities and they have a good variety. Communication with the family is good, I've been happy with it. The director sends a weekly email and I'm also able to schedule meetings with the nurse. The staff are very personable and try to work with me on specific needs for mom. Mom has difficult behavior with her dementia and it's hard to find a place that can work with that. They use Teepa Snow's approach for dementia care here and I was very impressed with that. The staff is trained very well, even housekeeping has been trained and knows how to use a careful approach. Of all the facilities I toured, this is the only one trained specifically for dementia care. If I had dementia and had to be somewhere, this is where I would want to be. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I toured this facility and it was nice. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Ultimately, we chose another place closer to home. Distance was a big factor in our decision and this facility was a little bit further from home than we were looking for.

Marshall Pines is great. I would recommend it!

They are missing a few key employees here but once they get fully staff it will really help out, but I sure would recommend this community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and from a facility perspective it gets 5 out of 5 stars, however for the location perspective it drops just a little bit. It is in a pretty chaotic area.

The tour was fine, helpful and we just went with another community because it just gave us that feeling that we needed.

The staff is super friendly and seem very caring. It's a beautiful home and facility. My mom says the food is very good. I would like to see more activities happening, as well as more creative things going on. I would also like to see the staff do more to try to involve all the residents. But overall, I think it has been a very positive experience, and they've been very accommodating.

I would highly recommend this community. It is very well maintained and the food is really good. The staff really watched out for the residents in the community. They have 4 physical activities and 4 other activities for the residents to choose form on a daily basis.

This community is so clean it is state of the art. The staff members seem very helpful and they offer quite a lot of amenities. They have a work out room, a movie theater and provide good food service.

I have been here 1 1/2 months. I like it very much. As something I can afford on my social security, it works very well. With the slowdown of the pandemic they are starting make improvements. They work hard at making everyone feel at home. The kitchen is a little inconsistent both in food coming out and the time it takes to come out.

I do think that they could be a little better with communication and keeping families involved in what is going on. It would be helpful if they sent out automatic emails with some of the updates inside of the facility.

The staff are very good. They seem to be missing some people right now but it is still good. This is a very nice place. I just wish there was a swimming pool and a flat place to walk due to it being on a hillside. It is overall a nice place. This is my first experience with a retirement community.

This place was super awesome and the residents were a little older than my mom would like. She did not go with this place, but the experience working with the coordinator was amazing. Brand new very nice and clean and a little more pricey. They seemed to have a lot of activities to choose from. No pool and no workout facilities.

The residents can request anything they want to eat, and the community is willing to fix or bring the requests to the residents. They have lots of activities for the residents to participate in. My mom is here and she loves it. They do a good job of communicating if there is anything that comes up so you can be there for your loved one.

I would tell others to come on board here. I would recommend the community to any of my friends. The staff is very aware of your condition, and as a result they either work with it or around it to make you feel comfortable here. The desserts are the best here! Our chef is really good at making desserts. The food overall could be improved.

I chose Hammond Glen because I liked the location and I just felt that I would be most comfortable here with my age group. They provide transportation through uber for errands that have to be handled and provide activities as allowed under the circumstances. I have no problems and I would recommend to others looking.
