Very nice, pleasant and great activities. I picked this community because it was a little more affordable compared to others.

Experience has been positive. We picked this community because it better fit our needs, and the apartment was larger.

The price was good and it had an open door to a porch where we were able to build a small fence for my aunt's dog. It was a very nice community atmosphere. I would recommend to others.

I think it's a nice facility, the staff was very friendly and seemed to really care about residents in their care. My loved one was only there for a week before she passed away. My one complaint with Central Park is they only refunded $[removed] of the $[removed] that we paid for the month, my aunt was only there one week. I was told it was ok to pick up her furniture and belongings when we were able, we were not told we were being charged each day her things were in their facility. Thankfully we were able to move everything by that Thursday., she passed away on Monday. I just feel they should have been upfront and honest about their policy rather than simply saying don't worry, there's no hurry to remove her belongings, saying they would keep them for us until we came to get them. So we basically paid a little over $[removed] for her to stay in their care for one week. I'll say it's definitely a lesson learned and I will share this with others who have loved one in any type of care facility in the future. Other than that issue, it seemed to be a nice place.

People are very friendly & everyone is helpful. They are a little slow on maintenance response. Regarding Activities I haven't participated in too many since I am still unpacking. But at meals everyone seems to talk about what they will be participating in & are looking forward to. I'm on the younger side of the population. I'm very pleased I chose this community. I forgot to mention the location. Turning onto the long Hammond Glen drive with large trees as tall as the bldg on both sides & surrounding the 11 story building makes it feel like you're in your own special world. I chose an apartment that overlooks the wooded side. This was one of the features that influenced me to choose Hammond Glen. Yet you're only 1 block off Roswell Rd & many shopping centers along that road. Also, the Front Desk is 24 hrs/day so someone is always available if you need assistance but then many places probably offer this.

As one walks through the front door one gets a nice first impression. You get a variety of meals especially at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is typical with a choice of eggs( except poached). Bacon, or ham. Omelets. Nice large pool that hardly anyone uses. Overall a nice place.

If the resident has any health issues, the nurses contact the house doctor, and they stay on top of it and notify the caregiver or responsible I dividual right away. You can call anytime to check on your loved one, and they will update you.Very caring, helpful, and always are there for you. The staff is kind and caring, and tries hard to help the individuals the best way to help with the person based on what works best for them (individual ized). It is clean and welcoming and everyone is very friendly. They take the time to listen.

I picked this community for several reasons...the people were very nice, I really liked the floor plan of the 2 bedroom apartment I had chosen and the location of the community is excellent.

We picked it because of the location, it was close to me, and the cost. I would recommend Deer Park. It's a nice place.

The only way they can make improvements is to have more staff, but I doubt that is possible.

The Monday-Friday staff is great. The weekend staff can be different, depending. The entire staff during the week is very friendly and helpful. Weekends seem different. The meals are much more restaurant quality than any other facility that we've been to previously. The staff has been very friendly, caring, loving and attentive to the residents. The management is receptive to any issues and cooperative. I would definitely recommend this facility to others, if it's affordable for Memory Care for their loved ones. My main negative is that the cost has increased tremendously since we arrived at this facility a few years ago and has continued to increase by hundreds of dollars monthly since Covid. However, overall, I'm totally satisfied with my loved one's care right now.

It's a nice facility, well-kept, clean. The staff needs a little more education on how to deal with memory care issues. We picked this community because of the location.

We picked this community, because they had larger rooms ( like apartments)with kitchenettes. 1-2 bedrooms or studio. Plenty of room and some are shared by 2 people ( if that is wanted for a couple or just to share the cost. Laundry and light cleaning is included. All meals are included. The best bang for your buck.

Overall I would say the care is good, the staff is competent and helpful. The residents always look clean. There are daily activities for the residents. They offer; Bingo, pet therapy, religious services, crafts and nostalgic movies. They respond to concerns in a timely manner.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Dining had some issues but I believe they have been resolved. The waitstaff all quit at the same time. The only problem we have found is the WiFi is not strong enough to use in my sisters apartment even though we were told it was available. So she expected to be able to use WiFi to stream the Roku. I will add that my sister is very happy living there. She is making friends and trying to join the activities when she can.

The staff is kind and they offer many activities. The facility is clean and inviting. I have a couple issues....in the apartment itself, there should have been a better inspection prior to letting my loved one move in... There was no power to the living room air conditioning outlet. The smoke detector was broken, not just a battery change. The bedroom air-conditioning unit was filled with black mildew or mold. It seemed as though there was no maintenance checklist followed prior to her move in. Oh!! One more thing....they need more dining room staff. It takes up to an hour to get food to the table from the kitchen. And there are very few vegetarian options.

I think memory care in general can only get so good. I think the facility is nice. The majority of the people are nice. The food is okay for what they can eat. It is what it is, a memory care unit. But it is nicer than the majority of them.

This facility seems very helpful, it's a great facility. The meals are really well prepared. I've shared a few meals here with my loved one. They were all well prepared, large in portion, nutritious, and balanced. The activities are very nice. They have a great variety and always have something going on. Communication with the family seems to be pretty good. Housekeeping is once a week and it's been more than adequate. All of the staff and residents are very helpful here. When we moved my loved one in, she was using a wheelchair to help recover from a procedure. The manager had a walker that she gave to my loved one to help her recovery even further, which was great. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to friends and family.

We like it here. Maple Brook is a very open place with friendly residents. It has its issues, just like most places. I think that the management is somewhat detached from the residents. And they don't seem to listen to us very much or answer questions. Because keeping staffing levels up is so difficult everywhere right now, they're having to overlap duties, which takes them away from their primary duties. We have an excellent chef though, and a new sous chef. The servers and kitchen staff are all wonderful. The concierge staff is fantastic, with a couple of them that really stand out. I wish there were more outdoor areas and activities, as well as activities geared toward men. They do have an outdoor bocce ball court. But overall the residents are friendly, and the food is good. The one-bedroom apartment is 768 square feet, which is large compared to a lot of places, but it could have a better layout. I like that it has a balcony, and there's a storage unit off the balcony. You can also rent a garage if you'd like to.
