I moved into Independence Village after the death of my husband. Everyone I’ve met, staff and residents alike, have been very friendly and welcoming. This has helped me get through a difficult time and I really appreciate it. The food is delicious and there is a variety of choices. I can always find something on the menu I like. I’ve been busy trying out the different activities that are offered. There are so many choices available. Sometimes though I seek the quiet of my apartment. It’s very cozy and it’s starting to feel like “home”. All of the staff are eager to make me feel welcome and very experienced in the areas I need assistance. Every day I feel more welcome and certain that I made the right decision to move here.

Boulder Creek is the perfect place for our mother. The staff is helpful, caring and efficient. There is an obvious community feel as the residents are out and about engaging in activities whenever we come to visit. The warmth of the decor and the staff make it so welcoming.

I feel like they could have a better system of letting families know activities that are going on. But they were very quick with responding to us. Excellent food!!!! My mother in law never complained about that. And the wait staff is absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, sweet, and they all get down to the residents level making sure the residents know what's on the menu and what they chose to eat. As far as fun events with food, but 4 as far as getting the assisted living residents involved in exercise activities. And maybe that's just not something they do? But I feel like having my MIL bounce a ball back and forth with other residents, etc would be nice. It's expensive, but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

Staff at all levels are helpful in many ways. Very responsive to client needs. When I arrived here from my hospital stay, I was unable to do things for myself. The staff was always there for me with help and encouragement. Thanks to the staff I have greatly improved. My room is cleaned, bedding changed, toiletries adequately supplied, clothes and bedding washed regularly. Medication managed as appropriate. Administrative Staff and Aides truly care about me and my wellbeing, which makes me feel that I am in the right environment. The Enrichment staff are genuinely interested in our participation in our personal interests for activities and provide many opportunities.

The staff is very happy and caring which indicates good management . The memory unit is fully staffed and has a full time activities director. Wife participates and is very engaged in the activities. My wife is happy there which my me happy.

My mom had a friend that was there already, so it made it a little easier to adjust to a new place. They respond to my calls quickly and they work hard to meet our needs.

Our family's experience with StoryPoint was very positive. Our 92 year old Mother needed a place where she would be safe and would have access to additional care if needed. As a remote caregiver (I lived >700 miles away) I needed the peace of mind knowing Mom was safe and well cared for. StoryPoint delivered on those needs. Whenever Mom required additional help or support, the StoryPoint staff were there. They went above and beyond to make her feel safe and comfortable. All the staff, from the dining room, maintenance, housekeeping to the admistrative staff and facility director, were caring, compassionate, cheerful and kind. We also took advantage of the ala carte personal care services available through CorsoCare to check-in on Mom, provide wound care as well as supportive care while she was in hospice. Each and every CorsoCare team member was professional, friendly, caring, and compassionate. Our family is grateful for the wonderful care provided to our Mom.

Danbury Westerville was very accommodating to my parent's situation. They provided excellent support in the transition of my parents from Dayton to Westerville. With their support I was able to coordinate the move from my home in Florida. They provided detailed information about their facility allowing a us to make a decision on what would be best for our parents. Their care givers are excellent and the staff has provided great support as my parents moved into Danbury.

Oliver Woods is an excellent facility for all the care and services our mom needs. Her personal staff is very caring and attentive to make sure all her needs are met. She enjoys the meals and the activities provide the social interaction she needs. We also appreciate the medical staff and the care she receives from them. The Oliver Woods staff works together to provide the best care for their residents. It gives us great peace of mind to know our mom is content in their care.

Came here for a ninety day respite, which has turned into a year. Although my ultimate goal is to go home, staying here is a pleasant alternative. There are numerous activities, a knowledgeable friendly staff, and two balanced and good tasting meals a day.

This community is superior to others. This community was previously [facility removed] and now Story Point GR East. Since the 1950s we’ve had family, friends, and our church members living here. They and ourselves have been satisfied, joyful, and contented.

Very caring, compassionate staff. Clean property. Decent food, good activities.

Hands down, best decision. Starting with the staff in every department is amazing. They really care and include everyone. The communication from every department is awesome. There is always something happening from games, exercise, music, happy hour, great food and so much more. It is clean and well maintained. If you are hesitant check it out, schedule a tour. They take care of everything from laundry, food, meds, and clean the rooms or apartment. They assist when needed. It is a happy, friendly place. Our mom is enjoying life and loves all the activities, food, and walking inside. We are lucky to have this place, which she can call home.

I like the building it’s comfortable, I like my apt. All the staff treat me good, kind and caring. The food is good, I eat in the dining room. I’ve met some nice friends that I sit with at the dining table

I like being here, I like my apt. Staff are very kind and caring. They entertainment is good they have live singers. I like the friends I have meet I have a friend that lives here as well. The dessert are really good.

I like the apt, I can go outside when it’s warm, fenced in and I have plants outside. The girls are wonderful! I have my favorites but all are nice and pleasant and helpful. Management staff is very nice.

My mom was at a different facility and she wasn’t receiving good care so I moved her to StoryPoint in Grand Ledge. She only lived there for three months but as she declined, the staff took wonderful care of her…and me! I’ve never seen a staff go above and beyond to care for someone. This isn’t just a job to these folks…they truly care. I’m grateful to [name removed] for her kindness and help with moving my mom to this facility. She made the process so easy. She loves all of the residents and cares about them and their family. I highly recommend this facility!!

My first look was excellent, friendly , nice facility. Very comfortable. Many things to do. Friendly staff and residents. Easy to navigate the building with being in a chair could be hard but lots of help. And most of all helpful.

The staff at Story Point is amazing!!! They always have activities going on for the residents. My family member is so happy living at Story Point. It is very welcoming. My family member feels very at home and has so many friends.
