The facility was very clean and bright. They have several areas to gather, as well as a separate activity room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food I tried when moving my mom was tasty (hats off to Chef [name removed]!). The apartment my mom chose was perfect for her.

From my first interactions with staff at White Lake Assisted Living during a tour through moving my parents into their apartment I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Interactions with the community director, executive director, LPN, facilities director, and staff are always positive. The facility itself is very clean and inviting and comfortable. The apartment size my parents are in within the memory care unit is acceptable. Their unit is the largest available. The main living area allows for their queen size bed, 2 recliners, 2 bedside tables, an end table, tv, TV stand, floor lamp, and cupboard for storage. The closet is large enough for their clothes, a dresser, a small wire drawer unit, hamper, and shoes and bedding. The bathroom is spacious enough for a standing drying rack, storage shelves and still space for wheelchair and walker use. Both parents seem to enjoy their meals and the staff has been very responsive to learning likes and dislikes. While the move in process was rushed due to extenuating circumstances all staff were accommodating due to the compressed schedule. All questions were answered and all available programs explained. I would recommend White Lake Assisted Living to others looking for a place for their elderly loved ones.

I like that I can look out my window at the courtyard, and cars and my apartment is close to everything. Staff are friendly, food is good. They have exercise and the car show was great. Best place ever

Apartment size was bigger than most. The layout of the apartment gave space for a larger dining area. Staff was attentive and went beyond to help when needed.

They are a great staff to work with. Always have my mom at focus. The executive director is very prompt and takes concerns seriously. It is very clean. The aides are kind and caring. Of course I wish it cost less . She is happy and well cared for

The staff is very caring we have taken my mom out on a couple of vacations and she had a hospital stay. They called and checked on her. When she was ready to go back I called the RN and she was on top of everything and very willing to get everything mom needed together for us to leave for vacation the next morning. I have no complaints about Story point or the faculty. She made new friends right away. Her apartment is big enough for her and more items than she needs, but that's not the facilities fault. To sum this up She's happy to be there.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. The managers are so helpful!! I came here with a couple of personal problems and the receptionist and Executive Director help me work through thru them. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them.

The staff at Independence Village of Avon Lake are wonderful. The facility is very clean. Apartments are a good size. There are a ton of activities available to participate in. It is an active community.

I can highly recommend Bayfield. It's a 10 on staff, food, care, and cleanliness. Everyone that works there is friendly and attentive.

The community is peaceful and clean. The food is good and the staff and companionship is wonderful. I am very happy to be a resident here. I have made many friends and enjoy spending time with everyone.

We had to move our timeline up very quickly due to a hospital stay, and Independence Village was so helpful and compassionate, making my dad, my siblings, and myself comfortable with this new situation.

We have a 2 bedroom apartment that is very nice. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. We eat our evening meal in the dining room and it is very good. There are many activities if you care to be involved and I ESPECIALLY appreciate the service which takes me to scheduled appointments.

Our father spent only two weeks at Gaslight Village, as he passed away much sooner than any of us expected. During that short time, we were deeply impressed by the level of care he received. The staff treated him with kindness, dignity, and compassion, and they cared just as thoughtfully for our family during a very difficult time. We are truly grateful for the warmth, professionalism, and genuine concern shown by everyone at Gaslight Village. They made an incredibly hard experience much easier, and we will always appreciate the care they gave to both our father and our family.

I am so grateful we chose StoryPoint for my family member. They made it such a stress free transition for all of us. It was a big decision for the entire family but as soon as we walked in we felt at home. The staff is so helpful and kind. They all go above and beyond. My aunt is happy to have found such a great home .

The kitchen staff and servers are wonderful. Food is good. Building is maintained extremely well. Apartment is extremely clean and well managed. Care staff take care of laundry and do a great job. An animal friendly environment for my dog, Stella. Staff always great my dog, even before me.

We moved my 100+ year old aunt to StoryPoint (Quartet) three years ago and we absolutely made the right decision. The building is beautiful and has great dining, but the biggest positive is the staff. From the beginning, they treated her like their mother/grandmother/great grandmother. She was so happy to have so many "family" members caring for her since she has no children of her own. Take a tour and you will see for yourself.

Independence Village has been wonderful in working with us. Bro-in-law signed contract on 5/5 to move in later in the month. He fell and broke his leg on [date removed]. The trauma left him delirious. They have kept in contact with us and are still allowing him to live there since his recovery is almost complete. The people are nice and helpful and welcoming and AVAILABLE! Food is good and balanced. Transportation is available. The residents I've met really like it there.

We did a very thorough search of the facilities in the south Bend/Elkhart area before we settled on StoryPoint in Ganger. [name removed], marketing staff, did an excellent job of providing information and a tour of the facility. She also went out of her way to make sure our room and furnicings were acceptable. I was impressed by the large room size and the small size of they it for memory care. Everyone at StoryPoint is very friendly and willing to help anyway they can. We enjoy the food and being able to have free meals when visiting. There is also a lot of activities to engage the residents. A+

My mom is clean , comfortable and cared for very friendly staff. Plenty of activities to participate in. Super happy to have found this place.

We absolutely love it. We feel like Papa has a real home with people who care.
