A wonderful safe place to call home. Staff goes out of their way to serve us and keep us safe and happy. Staff just held a building safety program for residents with Hudson fire dept at age 85. I am very cautious about falling.

Making my father comfortable and happy is nearly impossible, yet the compassionate and caring staff at IV were superb. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. Absolutely loved the attention & care my father received. The staff are wonderful and the administrators are easy to work with, thoughtful and kind during challenging times. Great place, great location, great staff, loving community. Thank you for everything, Independence Village.

Moving your mom into a community is equivalent to leaving your child the 1st day of school! But thank you so much to [names removed] this was such a smooth and easy move! The passion and love I feel from the staff for what they do is nothing less than comforting. Mom is still adjusting, but I can sleep easy knowing she is safe and with people who care!

StoryPoint is a facility that provides excellent care overall. The administration oversees day to day operations and addresses issues that arise promptly and always with the resident's wellbeing as the primary focus! It has been a wonderful experience for our family and loved one who is a resident!

I have a very good friend that lives there in memory care and I have to tell you that place is amazing , the staff there is very kind and even the management is there is on the floor helping taking care of the residents. They all work so good together. I would highly recommend this place.

My grandmother had been there when they first opened 25 years ago and it was a good experience so that was the main draw. Also some of the staff have been there for a long time which makes the community stronger. The smallest apartments are smaller than we anticipated but other than that it's great.

Moving into Independence Village was like moving home! Staff and residents have become our family! Not only do we have a beautiful apartment, which we love, we also enjoy the amenities of a game room, restaurant and family room where we gather daily for many laughs and great conversations! We enjoy great meals and desserts as well as spend time in the movie theater and bistro for crafts and activities. Staff plans special events and outings that leave us in awe, there is always something going on! We feel blessed and happy to have such an incredible and beautiful place to call home!!

My loved one is in MC and I had a great experience there. Leadership team is great and veryhimble and knowledgeable. Place is very clean and welcoming. Care staff is very helpful in Memory care and assisted living.

5 for all. We had a great all around experience with Independence Village. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

StoryPoint was one of the few you recommended to my family when we began looking for an option for my dad. I'm not in the state where my dad and other two sisters are living so I did some of the legwork and had phone calls with places you recommended. At that point the situation with my dad wasn't urgent…he was living with one of my sisters, but several months later their job situation changed and we started looking again for options. My sisters visited StoryPoint and were so impressed with the location, staff, amenities, size and value. It moved very quickly because they had an opening and has been nothing but positive ever since he moved in [date removed]. In fact, he's doing better living more independently and not so concerned about being in my sister's and brother-in-law's way or living around their schedule. He's 5-10 mins from my sisters and that also has helped--he knows they're right around the corner. My dad will be 93 in a few months :-)

This place is great. My mom loves it. They always call me and let me know what is going on. If anything happens. Everyone is so nice. The one bedroom with kitchenette is the perfect size. She has everything she needs.

I typically do not leave reviews but felt compelled to respond about the care that is given by Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care staff. It was with heavy hearts that our family made the decision to place my father-in-law in assisted living. It is a decision we have never regretted. The staff at Springvale Assisted Living exceeded our expectations. They treat dad with respect and honor. The facility is clean and has great food and the staff is willing to work around special needs. An example of extraordinary care and love was when dad turned 100, they asked him what he would like to do again if possible. Dad replied, “to go flying again”. The staff made it happen. This is the reason I felt compelled to leave a review. Such exceptional professional care should be recognized. I personally want to thank every staff member at Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care for their love towards the elderly of our community.

My father and I had a great visit here! We were instantly greeted by the welcoming staff, shown around the facility and given lots of helpful information. The place is beautiful, and very well taken care of. The living space is incredible, and the food offered was delicious!

My dad calls Briarwood HOME. Our experience has been great. Everyone treats my dad with compassion and respect. They have fun activities, field trips, always something fun going on. The staff makes the residents family members feel at ease too.

The staff is wonderful . They all really go above and beyond to care for my loved one. Clean facility and well maintained. I can’t say enough about how great everyone is and the level of care is truly the best.

The staff here is fantastic. No complaints about anything. They always have something for the residents to do and the staff helps with the residents to keep them involved. The dinners they have at Thanksgiving and Christmas are great. They have plenty of activities in the summer that get the residents outside. The Field trios look like a lot of fun and they have plenty of them also. All in All, I would recommend this place to anyone. My Loved one loves it here.

I like the staff and activities. Staff is very kind and very caring. I like the social interaction. I like the fact i feel safe and comfortable. I have lived here 9 happy years. I have many friends here.

Food is great staff is friendly. I have only lived here a few months but there is so much to do. I miss being af home but appreciate all the friends I have made here. I recommend this place to anyone looking.

I toured with a friend for their love one. The community has apartments and cottages available. I saw an apartment in the main building and a cottage. The apartments are nice and a good size. The cottages are beautiful with great amenities. Privacy is key as the property is private and overseen by onsite management. I would consider visiting again for my future when ready.

My husband has been at Briarwood in the memory care unit for the past 3 months and I have been very pleased with the care he has received. He has been resting comfortably, and has never given me any complaints concerning his time there. The facility is very welcoming, and the personnel are very friendly and responsive. I am pleased to have Briarwood nearby in Allegan, and would recommend it for anyone needing assisted living with memory care.
