Danbury in Tallmadge y is overall a great place for memory care. Overall very clean. Very rarely, but it does occur that once in a while you get that 'hospital' smell. The staff are always friendly and helpful. There are a lot of activities daily. Comparable for the market for memory care, and overall memory care costs are high.

I toured StoryPoint Novi and it was truly amazing! The community is beautiful and clean with great amenities. The food looked delicious and was presented nicely. One of my favorite spaces was the golf simulator my grandkids could use when they come to visit. I highly recommend this community if you are looking for a high-end feel at an affordable price.

The food is extraordinarily good. The move in process was a bit bumpy, but not bad. The staff shine with affection and kindness. The overall cleanliness is great. I highly recommend this facility. The cost is bearable given what we are getting--great food, kind and competent staff, lots of activities and a good apartment. My elder person is treated well and has been content to live there.

The place is amazing. Everyone is friendly, finances are flexible they really work with you. They go out of their way to make sure everyone has what they need and really help those with dementia get around.

StoneGate Village is absolutely perfect for my dad. I am so grateful for this facility, it is exactly what he needs. The people are all friendly and warm. They have activities quite often that even my dad can go to even if he doesn't choose to participate he can feel apart of the festivities. I still am in shock to see the maintenance guy there almost every time I come. This as not the case at the last facility that he was in. They seem to really enjoy my dad. When I had to take him to the hospital I was given an envelope that had everything that I needed when I got to hospital. That was so nice. He gets physical therapy and also had a nurse that came in to do wound care. The aids caring for him follow suit with all recommendations that he needed. I feel as if a weight has lifted from me concerning his care. I am very much involved with decisions but it's not all up to me as what to do in any given situation. I am very grateful to have A Place for Mom there when I needed to have him placed into a facility. They helped me 2 times and I recommend A Place for Mom to anyone going through the same thing.

We cannot rate the activities because my brother does not choose to participate in group activities and we cannot rate the value for cost because I am not involved with the cost of my brothers care. However based on the experience we have had, we would recommend Springvale community to other families.

Need for better dinner choices for diabetic and people with allergies. I was having difficulty finding choices as I have an allergy to all grains, not gluten, something else. [name removed] & [name removed] worked together to improve the menu to where a diabetic has much better choices. Since diabetes is always problematic, its a real triumph for an institution to be attentive to their needs & still please everyone else.

My dad has lived here over 4 years and it has been a great community for him. The staff members are kind and friendly and truly care about the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend IVGL to anyone!

Our experience with the executive director of this StoryPoint facility has a pleasure. He is willing to listen and readily available to discuss, deal with, and solve any problems quickly as possible. He's ready to please!

Since Danbury has taken over our apts, we are very happy about changes. Requests are tended to in a timely manner. building is sparkling. Manager puts out fun monthly news letter and helps us make Springwood a wonderful home.

Very nice place to live, very safe and secure - grounds are well maintenance. The residents are very friendly and give a feeling of a family. The requests for the maintenance are answered promptly.

We had a great experience writing songs with your residents. Everyone open to expressing themselves through song. Our team of song writers loved the co-writing experience.

This is a wonderful facility. Friendliness & tremendous concern for all the residents. It's an honor to be able to be there and play music and show my minerals.

Annual was very good. Bi-monthly leave a lot to be desired.

My favorite is having so many activities to go to. StoryPoint is very clean, always. And the meals are fantastic. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

When asked to describe Devonshire, there is one word to describe this place: home.

We looked at several communities and when we found StoryPoint, it was hands down the perfect place for my mom.

This is a well run facility. Staff tries to accommodate everyone even in trying times. If there is a problem in your apartment, it is taken care of in a reasonable time.

I would put 5 for all. My only negative feedback is some information was missed being related to her when she moved in. But we kind of did things backwards in that she got the apartment and did the health assessment when she was still in Texas due to her specific situation. Also has a problem with one of the caretakers but that's also more a personality clash than a problem with the facility. The positive things would be that they did do things backwards for me. My mom was not in a position to visit here to tour and do the health assessment so they figured out a way to do things virtually. If they had not been flexible and willing to think outside the box, my mom never would have come up here and I truly believe would not have lived another year. In my opinion, StoryPoint saved my mom's life.
