From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the amazing staff. The facility is very clean and well-organized, and the food prepared by the staff was delicious. During our tour for my loved one, everyone was kind, patient, and informative, which gave us peace of mind. It’s clear they truly care about the people they serve. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Beautiful facility with lots of amenities and activities , excellent staff that are polite and professional. The culinary team is excellent and creative exceptional meals. It’s the kind of place I would like to live my senior years.

Independence Village is fantastic. They offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care living options in one building. The thing that sets them apart is the staff. The care team is outstanding because they genuinely care about all of their residents. They constantly go above and beyond to make sure the residents are safe and comfortable. My parents moved in about 6 months ago. Last month my mom said she has never lived anywhere where she felt this safe.

My Mom moved into Story Point about a year ago, into independent living. It was a big move for her, but it didn’t take long for her to adjust. The rooms are spacious, updated and clean. The staff is awesome. They are willing to help when needed, and super sweet with my Mom. And they also keep me informed about anything related to my Mom’s care and well-being. There are multiple activities each day for my Mom to participate in…she never misses bingo and always looks forward to cashing in her “bingo bucks” for tasty snacks. Story point also offers a weekly outing to Meijer, along with other outings. The food and meal service is excellent. The setting feels like a quality restaurant with different meal options each day and for each meal. We even had Story Point cater a birthday party for my Mom, and all of her family and friends who attended were super impressed (as was I). While Story Point isn’t the cheapest, the care, staff, cleanliness and overall experience are well worth it.

Recently we attended on of their family night events. This was huge for our family when looking for a community for our mother. Family dinner was always something very important to us and when we learned that Story Point Findlay does this every single month, we knew this was the place. The food is always amazing, very well organized and always some type of fun entertainment. It helps that the staff makes us feel like we are family and we love that all management is involved in their events. Can’t wait until next month.

Very impressed with this community. Very glad my parents choose this place for my grandparents. Staff is great and so many great amenities. So far we have no complaints so far also really enjoy all the extras they do for their residents.

Very informative, welcoming, good follow up with questions/concerns. Responsive. Timely maintenance assistance to set up my mother's television and Wi-Fi. I would recommend. A particular example of their responsiveness is that my mother met with the chef personally before she decided to move there to address her food allergies and how they would be handled.

I have had many opportunities to visit several dear friends at Danbury, and each time I visit, I see professionalism from everyone, and more importantly, I see TRUE caring from everyone! In this age of short handed staffs and stressful work environments, I don't see that at Danbury. I personally know that the management there stresses excellence in their resident care. I have been to many assisted living facilities in the state, and I haven't found one better than Danbury in Mt Vernon.

The chef’s table dinner was wonderful and plenty of food companionship and hopefully they’re gonna have this monthly. We’re all very excited. Thanks to all the storypoint in employees who make this possible.

I like the food and I appreciate the service I get. I like the housekeeper, [name removed] because she does a Marvelous job. I like the people taking care of me and I have special ones that are very kind and nice. I like the girl at the front desk. When I have problem and I tell management, they always try to fix it.

Mom has been there for 3 years and always has gotten good care. Everyone has always been very personable and kind to her. She always has things she can be involved in and when we visit at meals the food is always good.

Have an Aunt that lives there now but my mother-in-law lived there until her death. Never so impressed with how they handle everyone from independent to memory care. Friendly from mechanics to the laundry, the chefs the office workers (basically everyone) they are all so nice to the residents. Very impressed with Grand Ledge Independent Village.

Visiting the Independence Village of Pella was such a lovely experience. They have the most friendly staff and great food options. They have so many engaging activities, the holiday specials they host were very heartfelt and wholesome. Highly recommend for your family member!

Looking for something for my friend. I came in to "check it out" before bringing her in. The front desk staff - [name removed] was extremely helpful and friends. [name removed] the sales manager was friendly and took time to take me around answering any questions I had.

My mom has been at Oliver Woods for almost 3 years. Although my family and I have developed trust in how the staff care for her, what is more important is how my mom feels. She definitely feels at home and cared for here.

[name removed] was very knowledgeable and friendly. The building was very clean. The staff that I encountered were very friendly.

I recently visited two residents at Independence village, and I have found that the facility is a very clean and well maintained place. The residence participate in several activities and the meals are created by a chef and his staff which is very tasteful. I found the atmosphere to be very friendly and homie while we were playing wii bowling!

Independence village is definitely a village, they all seem like family, residents and staff. The care and the love they provide for the residents is the best. Not only the care they provide but also keeping the residents a part of the ‘real world’ . Creating activities/events that are going on outside their facilities. Providing day bus trips, creating a Macy Day parade, Mardi Gras activities, Super Bowl, any event outside their facility is also going on inside the facility for the residents. The staff gives their all!!

My mother in law, [name removed] moved into Story Point just recently. She is 100 years old and was living on her own, she is very independent, very social and very determined. It has been an adjustment for her but the staff is so helpful and respectful towards her needs. There is so much to keep you busy, and yes! Bingo but so much more. There’s a theatre, work out room, happy hour, Mass, library, social coffee shop, relaxing room with fireplace, musicians that entertain and do much more. Last but not least, delicious food… I would recommend this place to anyone.

We are currently looking for a place my father. As we walked in, we couldn’t believe how beautiful the building is we were greeted by the nicest staff. The sales person was unavailable. However, the director took us on a tour and he was able to answer all of our questions. The chef sent us home a delicious meal for our father. I am happy to say that we will be moving our father into his forever home.
