It began with the care coordinator, after meeting with mom, they helped place her in the best area of the facility for her memory care needs..."a place with people at the same stage, friends to join in activities both on and off site. Mom paints and loves gardening. In 3 months the recreation staff have sought her out for trips to the botanical gardens, and to buy plants sor the facility gardens. She has painting classes and libraries. Every day she raves about the food, that she sleeps well and truly enjoys her new friends.

I recently visited my grandma with dementia in the memory care unit and the staff took great care of her while I was there, and accommodated her every need. They were also happy to answer any questions I had about her day to day life. Overall, I’m very glad she is here and I know she’s being taken care of properly.

I recently visited this community and it was amazing. The staff and nurses were very knowledgeable and helpful with my needs. I would highly recommend this community to anybody in the area.Looking for placement for their loved one.

StoryPoint Northville - my rating is a 5. From the first introduction to having Dad moved in has been exceptional. Dad was not initially thrilled of the idea (surprise right?) but after 1st week, he is loving it. Our family is very happy with our choice.

When my 93-year-old father's Alzheimers and dementia started to become a real problem a year ago, we were concerned about finding a good place where he could live and be cared for around the clock. We chose Oliver Woods in Owosso, and I cannot praise this facility highly enough. Run wonderfully by Carla LaMarr, with super assistance from folks like Zoie Martinez, Christi, Lilly, and too many others to name... they have all moved mountains to make my dad feel comfortable. He considers this to be his home and did so from the start of his residence there. The atmosphere is pleasant and very clean, and the recreational facilities they offer and the food are all outstanding. But most of all it is the people here... they treat my dad as if he were a part of their own families. They also have wonderful animal visits, from rabbits and dogs to a miniature horse... dad loves seeing them all, and he is happier than I have ever seen him. I highly recommend Oliver Woods!

My overall experience has been good. Everyone has been very welcoming and I enjoy the wide age/experience range and the mix of independent and assisted living. Service has been efficient but sometimes wait times have been longer than anticipated. Food is varied, well prepared and proportions are generous. Servers are friendly and accommodating. There are a variety of experiences but attendance is low and there is a need for encouraging more to attend. There is a variety of apartments available and laundry and cleaning services are satisfactory.

This was not my first time being in this facility. My husbands grandpa was placed here as well years ago. I back then always thought this was a nice facility for a loved one. So as I am very pleased with how much the staff does go out of there way to make my Mother feel so at home. They are always keeping me up to date with anything that is going on with my Mother from her medical care to her memory care. Overall this is a great place if your looking to place a loved one. ?

My Grandmother has lived here for more than three years. The facility has been under two management companies during that time. The care, and cleanliness has only improved with time. As a healthcare provider myself, I can honestly say I never cease to be amazed. The people are wonderful and I have peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands. We have found a needle in the haystack!

Everyone is so friendly. My Step- Mother loves living there. My Step-Mother says staff is very kind and helpful, making sure she has what she needs.

My mom was at Independent Village of Waterford for 30 day respite care. The center took care of all my mom 's needs. Many options of social engagement provided for the residents. All the staff were great. My mom and me would recommend the center 100%.

The friendliness and efficiency of all staff was absolutely wonderful. I couldn't ask for a more caring and compassion-at home- away-from- home for my husband. The meals were very tasty and well prepared. I have already recommenced and will continue to recommend StoryPoint to others.

Everyone was helpful and kind. The staff and atmosphere at Independence Village is friendly, respectful and positive. The room is a beautiful, newly remodeled space with plenty of closet space. The food is delicious and serving staff very kind.

I'd definitely give them 5 stars. The compassion of the staff was evident before we moved in and continued beyond. The staff are all cheerful and helpful, they love the activities and the food. The facility is always clean. The apartments are of decent size, but there is zero counter space in the bathroom! What a change from where we were!

My mom, [Name Removed] lived at Flourish for 6 and a half years. From the day she moved in, she felt this was home. What makes Flourish special is the wonderful, loving people that work here. From the concierfe, [Names removed] and all the amazing women to the waitstaff [Name Removed] and the others, and the administration [Name Removed] to the housekeeping and maintenance.

Staff are always wiling to help me. The building is always clean and smells great. The activities that I go to are great and the food is good. I love living here.

I visit my sister everyday. I have observed {Name Removed] and how well he treat the residents, staff and family. Everyone loves [Name Removed] because they feel loved. We are extremely fortunate to have [Name Removed]. God blessed us with an angel.

A great assisted living option. I toured this place when looking for my dad. It was clean, smelled good, and the staff was truly friendly. You can tell they care.

Everyone is so kind and friendly. The food is great, all homemade. The staff is caring. So many activities, bible studies, and outings. The facility is so neat and clean. You get what you pay for.

The staff truly care for me and will talk with me whenever I need their ears. The food is delicious and the chefs are amazing. Our activities professionals keep us moving all day and involves us in making the calendar. They throw great parties, even theme them.

My husband had been in Rehab for six weeks after falling at home a few times. Rehab staff recommended, "no return to home, but choose Independent Living instead. After an appointment and tour of Independence Village with our son and daughter,(the first place we visited) we were convinced we had found our home.
