We had a very smooth experience with the tours, preparation for move, lease signing and move in. No surprises and the staff was actively involved and helpful. After move in we have had some small hiccups with the agreed upon care plan because it seemed like the DON had not notified the staff of the care plan. But that has been worked out over time. We are still having problems with billing but I'm confident it will work out. This is the third facility we have worked with and has by far been the best despite the small issues. They have been so good about getting mom integrated in the community and she loves it.

In the short time my loved one was there, she had a nice stay. The facility is beautiful. It's a brand new, pretty, and inviting place. There are just not enough staff there. The staff were lovely, very nice people, but the staff-to-resident ratio was low, and subsequently each person had to do many jobs. They were very nice, just overworked. And there was some staff turnover. The food was not as good as I had hoped it would be. My loved one enjoyed the activities when they occurred, but there weren't enough residents to have them regularly every night. All that being said, she would definitely stay there again. She really liked it. It's just a new facility and needs time to come to its full potential.

I toured Independence Village of Avon and I had a good tour experience and first impression. The marketing lady, [name removed], was very attentive and reached out to me a couple times to follow up. Although the facility was a bit older, the community had a nice layout. Everything was on one level. Unfortunately they didn't have anything available, so we chose another community.

All of the staff have been super friendly so far, and it is a nice community but there could be some improvements. We have had a couple issues here and there but they are working on ironing them out. The meals and dining service is so so, that is one thing that could be improved. However I do really enjoy living here, I really like my cottage which is separate from the main building.

Feel safe and secure living here. Have high hopes that quality of food will improve with new chef.

The food has been a disappointment. The people are all very nice and overall I think it Jackson Meadow is a good place to live.

[name removed] passed away after her return from a psych evaluation that Atria ordered in response to an outburst. The whole send her then notify the family about it cause some stress. Topped by the fact that Atria was unaware that the facility they send people to does not allow visitors. So we went a week where we were not allowed contact with mom. On her return hospice was encouraged and she died days later. She fell twice. Not sure why the supervision wasn't quick to respond as they said they would be. They did have a lot of scheduled activities. Good base price but beware of add-on hours of care which it seems they wanted most residents to have.

For cleanliness it is a large facility just a few things I noticed on stairs and hallways that could be vacuumed.

Some of the stuff going on is just them trying to recover from covid. They are very understaffed and it takes forever for the residents to get their food. She has seen a change in the food in the past week. The staff that are here are wonderful. there are just not enough of them. They also do not have the amenities right now that they would normally have. I think more communication with the new residents and families would be helpful, maybe an orientation in the beginning.

I thought Danbury North Canton was very nice, very clean, and for the most part the people were very friendly. Occasionally you'd run into some people in management who weren't very nice. I had a studio apartment that came with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and I had to provide my own furniture. They allowed pets, I had a small dog with me who's around 15 lbs. They offered housekeeping services where they'd change your linens bi-weekly and wash bedding & towels. Sometimes it seemed off, because I would receive wash cloths and towels that didn't belong to me. They were supposed to wash our things separately, per unit. They also offered transportation to appointments & stores, and I believe it was included for the monthly price. Your trip had to be within a certain distance of 10 miles, anything over that and there will be an additional fee. It's an overall very nice place and if I had to go back I would. I would recommend Danbury to other people.

Given that Provision Living is a newer community it is still very nice and is kept very clean. It is a well laid out smaller community and based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

This was a nice community with nice staff. The price was more than we wanted to spend.

It takes a long time for aides to respond when I push the call button. Staff shortage has resulted in me not getting my shower weekly. Staff does not keep my toilet/bathroom clean or empty my urinal. It is starting to get better.

All things here are very good. No problems, but costly.

The tour was great but it was just not what we were looking for for our loved one it was just too big. This was a really good tour just not the right fit.
