The facility is clean, but the rooms are not cleaned very well. The care is fine. Response to things is slow. Maintenence issues. The biggest area for improvement is the food. [name removed] does what he can. For the high $, he should have access to better food and a better menu.

[name removed] had good care. She was there because her husband had Parkinson's dementia. So she really wasn't with her peers as far as normal mental status. We couldn't get her into a different facility. The staff recognized that and went above and beyond to build a relationship with [name removed]to make the best of her situation. Areas of improvement would be oral care, fingernail maintenance and possibly food choices. She gained quite a bit of weight while there, but she also isn't one to turn down food!. It was a good place. We we able to get into [community name removed] just this week.

Most of the people here are disabled. This place was not build for the disabled. It's hard to manuver in the rooms in a wheelchair or power chair. You can't pull up to the sink or lavatory, or turn a wheelchair around in the bath room.

We chose StoryPoint troy because of the cleanliness, bright and welcoming environment and the staff is very friendly and caring. I would tell others just visit them very often, take them out to eat to their favorite restaurant, whenever they want to go, because the quality of the food, or at least the choices seemed to decline. Make sure any additional care you pay for is being done.

My loved one is currently a resident at Danbury of Broadview Heights and the experience has been pretty good, all things considered. The cleanliness is great. The friendliness and staff are good. My biggest concern is that they are short staffed on nurses and aides. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

My mom says they are understaffed and meals are very slow, however my parents enjoy the programming. We like that they have been able to get meals delivered when they are sick and that they are in an environment without stairs and with handrails everywhere.
