Very friendly community. The staff is there to answer any questions and help anyway they can. They are there to help when needed and give you as much independence as is safe.

Overall great experience. Using several venus good idea. Smaller cast would be better - using mostly staff. Some prime rib on a railing cart three act dining room. Best Walnut salad ever.

We have a nice 2 bed 2 bath apartment with a lovely view and all the people working here seem to be friendly and helpful. They are renovating and updating the facility so it will be better for residents. They are working on the menu but need a nutrition list so residents with dietary needs will know what is best for them - sodium, fat, sugar, etc. The wait time for some meals needs to improve. Looking forward to a caring comfortable future.

What I like most about the StoryPoint Romeoville community is the staff. The staff team here is very friendly and helpful. They also make good meals. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.

Size of apartment is good. The amount for rent went up considerably this year. They need to improve on serving meals on a timely basis. Overall I would recommend Creekside at Shallowford to others.

I know the Visiting Angels are not doctors or nurses but it would be nice if they were trained a little more on possibly blood sugar machines how to use them and different other items like that to help the residents out otherwise there's no complaints the the place is nice it's kept well and my mom really does enjoy being there.

I would like to have the quality and selection on the menu to be improved so have more options. The hot food should be served hot and not just warm or cool. My cost has inversed by 21.8% in four years

We toured several facilities before making a decision but when we entered Harbor Chase we knew this was the one. It was clean, all the people we encountered were friendly and looked genuinely happy. It was inviting and had nice common areas for residents and/or families to gather. My only complaint was move in day. We didn't get a list of "how to" such as laundry, cleaning, appointments, etc. Overall, it is a great place and our mother is doing very well living there. Dining room/meals are very good but under staffed.

The staff at StoryPoint Portage are friendly, caring, and helpful with basic necessities. Housekeeping happens every two weeks and the bedding is washed every two weeks. The staff communicates well. The move in process is pretty standard, nothing special. The meals are good and balanced l. Based on my loved one's experience, I would recommend StoryPoint Portage as a good place to go.

Oxmoor is too high for what they offer. They keep raising prices. Initially it started out great and then declined. I think they try to good but just don't have together yet. Also, it appears they have a high staff turnover which is concerning.

My loved one was briefly a resident at Holiday by Atria Pearl Crossing for a respite stay and the experience was great overall. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff was great. The care services were good. I think that the meals and activities were also great, as was the value for cost. I would consider this facility if my loved one had a long term need for care.

Clarendale was bought out by StoryPoint and the transition has not been great. They have gone through 2 directors of nursing in (less than?) 6 months...and staffing issues, which I expected in the beginning. It is hard to find staff...the job is difficult and CNA's are terribly underpaid across the board. There is very little consistency with the aides/caregivers who are looking over my mom in memory care. I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall, having to go over her needs every time I visit...with someone I've never met before. That said, I truly believe that they are really trying to get it right. In two cases, I was not been able to find someone to let me out of her living space (it is locked, of course, because it is memory care)...once it was 1/2 hr before an aide appeared. I could not find a nurse either.The 2nd time, I had to call the front desk to have someone come and let me out. Two weeks ago the Nurse Practitioner ordered a urine test to check for UTI...a week later I emailed the NP to find out the results only to find out that the test was never done. I tried to find out where it fell apart but I was not privy to how it happened. I have not brought this all to the attention of the memory care director, [name removed]...though, I have spoken to him about my concerns about nursing and staffing issues and inconsistencies. I hesitated to tell him about being locked in the space and the urine test because I think they were just flukes. I did speak to the NP about the urine test that did not get done. I should let him know, though. On a good note, housekeeping has been doing a very good job of keeping my mom's room clean. She tends to be a hoarder, so they keep an eye on her room. Also, the Activity Team for memory care could not be better!! The team does a great job of engaging the residents. I do believe they are trying to get their staffing issues in order.

The maid, [name removed], provides outstanding service. She cleans quickly and efficiently, and is always pleasant. Also, the maintenance guy [name removed] is quick and effective with repairs.

Danbury Westerville is a caring community. The nurses and caregivers are kind, compassionate and attentive. I highly recommend this facility to others looking.

It's very expensive, but it has a great community and the people they really really seem to care. I wish the food was better. They need some more variety. I feel like they really do it up for holidays, but for every day options, there's a lot of repetition and it seems like the black and minority groups don't participate as much.

Story Point is a beautiful facility with lots of activities, but they don't offer much in terms of care. They promise services but don't deliver. Their Memory Care unit is largely unsupervised and the staff doesn't seem to care about the residents. Story Point talks a good story, but they don't deliver. We asked if they organized any Alzheimer's support group or offered any classes for people dealing with a spouse with Alzheimer. For months, they assured us that they were organizing some training, but they never did anything.

People are very kind. You always get what you ask for or need.
