My loved one was previously a resident at StoryPoint Chesterfield. Most of the staff was amazing. The food was amazing. My father personally thought that the meals were too large and had to ask multiple times for 1/2 portion. I loved everyone -aides coming in the room daily, housekeeping, kitchen, front desk and administration were all very helpful and friendly. The move in and out process was smooth and I would recommend.

The move in process was easy. Plan to do it all yourself as there isn't any muscle available to help with the heavy lifting. The assisted living area is much better regarding activities, food,and staff interaction. Memory Care is very lacking in activities and the food is much less appetizing. I assume because of the mental capabilities of the residents in that area. Sad but true. Many times, we are told, "Oh no problem" and a week or two later, it's still not done? The van to transport patients hasn't had a driver in over a year. Communication is adequate if we start the conversation. Very little is shared without us inquiring? The new director is a huge improvement. The staff are friendly and kind, but it's obvious they are understaffed. Housekeeping is very good. The facility is clean, and we've never noticed a foul smell upon entering. It is all self pay and it is quite expensive. Many things you pay extra for, but you really have no way of knowing if it actually happens if your loved one is unable to remember or communicate well anymore.

What I like the most about this community is that it is close by and overall I am content. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend the StoryPoint Bolingbrook community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

They pressed her into doing something she was not capable of. After she passed she had clothes that was not hers and they didn't give us back he wheel chair we bought for her.

My mom loved Storypoint. She was very pleased with the entire staff and Friends she made. We all Felt like Family. My mom recently passed and Story Point was there for us!

At the moment everything is all good, we are waiting to see how the new ownership goes.

Danbury, Brunswick is a great place for our Mom. The nursing staff are very good and keep us informed most of the time. The great thing about Danbury Brunswick is that Mom gets up every morning and can pick out her own clothes and is not in a bed all of the time. She is able to socialize with other residence and that is really a good thing. The staff wheels her to the dinning room every day, 3 times a day. There are plenty of activities that Mom can enjoy.

I would give all the categories listed a 4, because there is always room for improvement. I think after a year the food has become monotonous for my parents, and the medical staff most all have heavy accents which are difficult for the elderly residents to understand.

Excellent staff handling hard situations. This is not just a job, but more of a calling for these professionals. It's not an easy one, as most family members know firsthand. Rooms may not always be pristine, but their jobs are tough. Family members can pitch in and help with that. I'd rather have confidence in the care of my loved one than the neatness of their room. Memory Care has its own nurses' station within this locked unit, supported by attentive aides. Like any other facility, family members should be a frequent presence and build rapport with paid staff to get special insights regarding the care and current condition/changes with their loved ones. Spend a day there with your family member and you will learn what it takes to care for residents with this disease. Participate in the many activities offered to residents and learn what each activity is designed to provide residents with: Emotional, Environmental, Intellectual, Spiritual, Vocational, Physical, Nutritional and Social Wellness. I thank God every day for Dominion.

My loved one was previously a resident at Bayfield Assisted Living and Memory Care and overall the experience at this facility was good. However, we had to move our loved one due to the cost increase. Bayfield has a great Activities Director, which I will miss! He helped my loved one so much!

When it comes to the activities they mostly seem geared for children rather than adults with short term memory issues. What our family likes the most about StoryPoint Novi is the friendliness of the staff and we would recommend them to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

My loved one was previously a resident at StoryPoint Fort Wayne West and the overall experience at this facility was pretty good for her. My only complaint was that they fed her too much candy and sweets. The staff was good. The living quarters were nice. I wouldn't mind being there, if the need arises.

Facility is clean and airy, staff is very friendly, and excellent with residents, always very caring, and always smiling

My mother started out staying at Danbury of Hudson on A respite stay. After her 30 stay, she soon became to enjoy her time there more, and more with the other residents, staff, and extra curricular activities.

Residents are well cared for. Staff has concern and compassion and treat residents well with kindness and respect. Communication is also great. The nursing staff will text me with any concerns or updates they may have for my dad.

Our overall experience with StoryPoint Chesterton was good. My dad was not very social, being self conscious with dementia. The cleanliness was good. They had people cleaning every day, but I remember thinking that I wish they would have vacuumed more than once. The staff was always pretty friendly to my dad. He liked them and they liked him. Sometimes the food was really good, but dad did not take advantage of going to the dining room to eat it and it was expensive for them to bring it to him. The activities seemed good, but my dad was antisocial and he did not take advantage of the activities that were offered.

The staff at StoryPoint Fairfield are really friendly and the events that they hold are very fun. We love the family events and special attention to detail that is provided. Housekeeping has been our biggest struggle. We haven't been entirely happy with that aspect, but my mom has A LOT of stuff everywhere so it's not only their fault. The meals are good quality. I would recommend StoryPoint Fairfield to others.

Treats my mother well. I do not need to worry about her well-being. Staff is very attentive.

They are kind, caring people. They do the best job on the whole. They are always working to do better. They are very kind to their residents.

The care staff is second to none. They are kind, caring, considerate and on top of all aspects of my mom's care. My mom is very happy here!!
