I would highly recommend the community. The staff is caring and kept Mom engaged. In a small market like this one our choices for care are limited. I was very pleased to find Ludington Woods, and Mom seemed very happy there.

I would recommend they definitely check out the place! They obviously care about the residents and the facilities as they are actively making many ongoing improvements like replacing all the elevators, painting, and new carpeting, as well as a huge list of things. Anything my mom needs fixed in her apartment is done in a timely basis. They also try to implement things the residents request if they can. Like showing a plate of the main meal being served so they can make an informed choice. They are currently doing "Olympic games" with the residents on Friday's.

The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. They try very hard to please and pay attention to the residents. The facility is beautiful and the apartments are as nice as a one bedroom apartment can be. The dining room and music area are spacious and well appointed. It is expensive but the services they provide allow family members to just visit. No need to spend a whole visit doing chores. Plus a wonderful back up for family if visits can't be accomplished for a couple of weeks.

The facility is always clean and well maintained when I visit. The staff is friendly and says hello. I see there are plenty of spaces to be outside of ones apartment and there are planned activities and outings. My mother's main complaint is the food is not low sodium for seniors and not restaurant quality or homemade style as she was told it was to be "chef prepared " food and isn't like the sample menus we were shown upon deciding to have her reside there. She would prefer less seasoning ahead of time and then have choices on the table of salt/pepper and Mrs.Dash varieties.

We have had a much better experience than the first place she was at. She seems to be happier here. They call me with any little or big issues, including putting a band aid on her one time. No one will take as good of care as you would of your family, but we have been blessed at Story Pointe.

Staff learns your name quickly along with your preferences & schedule. Abundant daily activities and special events to keep busy. Staff is generally attentive. Food served in dining room is tasty, but very often run out of day's featured menu items. Facility is near many amenities but also set back in a quiet neighborhood. Facility is clean and attractively decorated. Many common areas and spaces for families to meet outside of the apartment. Hallways are quiet, you don't hear noise from inside the apartment. Residents are friendly and interactive. Facility's physician services & acute pharmacy can be slow initiate treatment compared to seeking care from family physician and retail pharmacy. One limiting factor is shuttle van does not accommodate transport in wheel chairs so resident must be capable of transfer from wheelchair to van seat. Still, overall we are pleased with our decision for placement here.

My mom said the food was terrible. She loved the Fitness room and activities. The nurse staff and administrative was great. The cleaning was not good. We cleaned her room because of that. Overall we would go back if needed. They just lack in staffing for cleaning and cooking. Also the elevator broke often.

New management as of May. Prior management gave more food choices and seemed to have more servers. Running with less. Food is generally good, but less choice and serving times are long. Supportive staff. Fresh and bright though.

My dad did not participate in many of the activities. I believe Lincoln Square was a good place for my Dad. He died in [date removed] . The majority of our experiences were positive. as with all things, nothing is perfect. Our Family would recommend Lincoln Square as a desirable place to age independently. The apartments are spacious and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Activities are available to those who wish to participate. Having the availability of three meals a day, I think gave my dad a reason to get up every morning to visit the friends he made.

Not sure what changes have been made since the new company bought out [removed].

You can tell I'm very happy with the facility and it's even better now that it's Story Point Bolingbrook from when it was Atria. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families. [name removed] is ED there. Reach out to [name removed]and he will take care of the family there. He is excellent.

Very nice facility, staff is wonderful. Food is simple, but more than adequate. The grounds are very pretty with a nice garden space. Very centrally located with easy bus access. My father-in-law is very happy there.

Holiday Oxmoor is now story point Louisville East the name change hasn’t changed too much yet. I’ve been here now for for about 2 1/2 months, my experience so far has been that the people are very nice. The staff is very nice. The residence are very nice making a few friends story has changed a few things but basically for the best better the menu has changed a little bit, but they’re still serving three nice meals a day, I moved from a house with 3500 ft.² to a room with 500 ft.² gradually adjusting to it but so far everything is going well. I’m doing well.

My mom loves it there. She's very involved in activities and she loves her neighbors and she's really enjoying her experience there. So keeping consistent good employees has been a challenge for Storypoint. I would recommend them. They've had some issues with some employee turnover in the past year. They've got a new activities Director, a new facility Director, a new driver and a new chef.

We love the people who work there! Base on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend Independence Village of Avon Lake to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The staff is helpful, but you need to let them know what you may need. Ask questions. The staff will do what they can or let you know who you need to contact. Housekeeping does a nice job. --When moving it would be helpful to have a list of items the family will want to make sure they provide, as well as what may be helpful to have or items to avoid. --The food is good with choices --I would recommend keeping a journal to help with remembering conversation and who you talked with. -- Name tag's would be helpful at times. Especially when first moving in. I would recommend Story Point West to others.

The activities was lower because my sister did not enjoy the activities, but you can't please everyone. The overall experience and value for cost , the memory care she was in was pretty full of people needing a lot of assistance, so the staff seemed inadequate. More staff would have helped. Still overall, I liked Storypoint quite a lot.

I would definitely recommend the facility if you can afford it. The staff really want to help during the troubling times, even though you may not know it at the time. It's been a while since I've lived there, but I keep in touch with the residents and they tell me that the food is getting better. There seem to be more choices now.

We give them a 4 overall, not due to the facility but due to the limitations in nursing care. Limitations set by the State. However, it is a lovely place. Staff professional and very loving and considerate of clients. They offer many activities for clients and families. They always assist families and encourage clients and family participation.

It's it's wonderful, it's expensive. Make sure you are getting your money's worth. Watch your finances and what they take out, each extra thing that they do for you will cost. But it's a really nice place if you can afford it.
