Overall this is a beautiful facility with wonderful people. The right level of care was difficult to get. [name removed] who cleaned my mom's room is a peach. The staff was loving and supportive. We had trouble getting the right level of care for my mom. The chef [name removed]is wonderful. Making excellent food. I liked how they could always order from a menu. [name removed]thinks of wonderful activities. This place was beautiful and the food was great. You pay a little more for that.

Although my loved one passed away, they looked after her as if she was their own. The staff and residents are lovely. A wonderful place for your loved one. If someone is looking for a community that truly cares for one another. It's the best around.

Living conditions are good and location is very convenient, and everybody is so giving! Our days are happy here, and we hope to be here for a longtime to come. At this age it is not easy being content anywhere, but Indp. Village is the exception. It's truly nice being here!

I am one of the original founders at Cascade Trails. I would recommend this senior living facility over others in the area. It is bright and cheery place that makes you feel good about yourself. You also feel at home because the rooms are nicely sized. The staff is very friendly and willing to work with our issues of concern. The residents are very enjoyable. We have great amenities included in our monthly fee. There are some quirks that need to be fixed but that can be true of any new complex. Overall, it is a great place to live for older people.

My mother recently passed after 2.5 years in the memory care unit. Overall, the actual caregivers were fine…helpful and gracious, did their best. However, I felt that communication with the administration was poor. Towards the end of her stay, hospice was involved at my request. Information that I believe should have come from admins at the facility was channeled through hospice, with no follow through by admins. Recommendations for changes in her care, including for a personal assistant, were made to me but when I brought this up with administrative nurse, she did not follow through with any additional info. After mom died, there were issues to be addressed by building admin and several phone calls went unanswered. It was impossible to follow through with corporate because the phone number they list doesn’t work and they only responded with an automated return message when I texted them online. My numerical rankings are affected by disparity between caregivers & administration.

Overall, I was very pleased with care my parents received, especially my mother. It was usually pretty easy to get in touch with the care staff and get answers. My only complaint concerned the billing and insurance department. My parents had long term care insurance and I had a horrible time with them filing the claims correctly and timely, and getting payment from the insurance company.

What sets Pinebrook apart from others is that it offers Independent Living as well as Assisted Living and Memory Care. It’s a beautiful facility with a friendly staff and good size apartments, but the food needs improvement. This is a big deal since going to the dining room is such a highlight of the day, and unlike other facilities, there’s no snack station. There are a variety of activities, but they could do a better job communicating them. There is a monthly calendar provided at the beginning of the month and tvs display daily activities. However, the tvs flip through the screens faster then they can be read, and it’s difficult to find an activity calendar mid-month. Overall though, it’s a nice place to live with wonderful residents.

Overall, my mother is very pleased and feels safe. The friendliness and the ease of which we were able to come see the place the willingness of them working with us and <name removed>, who was the gentleman that talked to us initially he handled it better than any other facility. We talked to so for us none of the other ones could compare.

Good, my therapists are excellent. I'm not a fan of the pendants. Sometimes care staff makes me feel rushed when helping me. Food is excellent!

Everyone is very friendly. The rates keep increasing even though mom doesn't use many services and it on a fixed income.

Very pleased with my experience here. (Except Covid Years) I also like adding to the activities portfolio. (music and movie)

Friendly, caring staff

The staff is extremely caring and provides excellent service. The facility is tastefully decorated and very Inviting.

We were nervous about putting Mom in a facility, but have found The Danbury to be filled with Caring, attentive staff and are confident in their care. Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff really listens to our concerns.

My husband and I moved to the Danbury due to his need for more care then I could provide for him. It is a place where we can live and eat together as an independent resident and an assisted living resident. It is a very friendly and caring community. Everyone works hard to help us feel at home.

I would recommend the community. We picked this community because of the atmosphere and first floor room without anyone on either side. Also close to my home.

The facility is kept in great condition and updated. The staff is extremely helpful and listens to any ideas or concerns you may have. The new director has added a lot of new ideas and events which has been wonderful. The new Chef has introduced new menu ideas that have been very enjoyable and are fresh. I would recommend that people make sure the location isn't too far away from familiar places. It is very windy so outside activities can be limited.

What we like about Independence Village of Avon is the communication with nurses/doctors on and off the floor could be better. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had

I have made good friends and find many opportunities to help those who need assistance. The staff is friendly and positive. The food is good with a variety of offerings Apartments are comfortable. Maintenance is excellent. Activities are plentiful, but participation could be better. The executive director is available and quite helpful. The life enrichment team provide activities for residents in Memory Care. The outdoor surroundings are well cared for and there are areas for walking or sitting outside.

Boulder Creek is an excellent facility. While my Mom was only there for a short time, she received very good care. The Administration and Staff were very kind and helpful. While there are always a few hiccups and learning moments throughout the process, everything went smoothly and I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend Boulder Creek to those in need of Assisted Living or Memory Care.
