My aunt has been at Devonshire for several years. She is 101 and I cannot say enough about the staff that has been taking care of her for all these years. Everyone knows her by name and takes excellent care of her. There are several events that keep her busy every day.

A very friendly environment. Staff and residents look out for each other. Dinners take longer to be served than normal at times, but food quality is delicious. I haven't checked out other apartments. Mom is in a 1 bedroom, full kitchen. Waste disposal & Laundry rooms are on each section. Guest bathrooms in halls too.

I moved in just before Halloween of 2024. I chose to move from my home of 40 years to come live in this community to prepare for my future needs. I can age in place comfortably with my needs for handicap accessible mobilty resources at the community. I am happy I chose this community. One reason I chose here initially was the fresh smells and appearance it has.It does not have the look of a nursing home or other assisted living communities I toured.

Grace Haven staff and facility are a blessing to our community. Mom has been living in the memory care unit for 15 months and I have nothing but praise for their kind, compassionate care. The activities offered to the residents are fun and engaging. We have enjoyed many "family" activities there also, we always leave with a smile on our face.

The staff was amazing from the directors all the way down to the people in the kitchen. They were always so helpful with my mom and took such good care of her. They made her feel like she was a part of their family. I could not say enough good things about story point my mom stayed there until she passed away And I would recommend it to anyone looking.

My mom recently moved to Maple Lake when she could no longer live alone. It’s such a comfort for me to know she is happy in her new place. The staff are cheerful and very attentive, grounds are beautiful, and the building has such a homey atmosphere. She’s enjoying the activities and letting someone else cook the meals (they’re delicious too). It wasn’t an easy decision to sell her home but seeing how happy she is, we know it was the right decision.

My mom loves it there, we love it there!! They are always friendly & they do some much with the residence. The other day my mom said to me how she loves her Storypoint family. The holidays are a big deal there & they always go over and above to help with rides, exercise etc

Having our Mom transition from her home to a place which provided care that she needed, was a difficult decision. From the moment We stepped into Devonshire We as a family and Most importantly our Mother were treated like family! The staff at Devonshire are some of the kindest, most caring people you could hope to care for your loved one. We visited often, met most all the staff at different shifts, All of them treated Mom, us, other residents and each other with kindness and respect. Sadly our Mom was very ill and passed peacefully with family by her side within the care of Devonshire staff and CorsoCare Hospice. We were supported throughout our Mother's stay, with kind words, ready hugs, and experienced professionals who really cared. I would recommend Devonshire to anyone looking for a place for a loved one, It's intimate family setting is wonderful, the staff and Management exemplary! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Devonshire Management and Staff!

The care was very good. Staff was top notch making us feel like we were part time of the family. Meals and meal plan was outstanding, many activities throughout the day kept mom active. Our family was very grateful for the care that was given

The Villas at Danbury have allowed me to continue living independently but knowing that if I need anything at all I can contact the staff here and get the help I need. This allows me to come and go as I want and live without the worries of owning my own home and dealing with all that goes with that. I have been welcomed with a very kind staff and they have been very helpful in providing me with all that I need here to be comfortable in my new home.

The facility is one of the best staffed that Ive seen. Its small so you have a good idea of the graciousness of the staff and administrator. It is difficult to rate overall value due to how much I like staff and performance. Small is good but is more expensive than a larger facility.

My sister has been a resident of Story Point for just over 2 years. She & our family are very pleased with the whole experience here. The director and the entire staff are concerned about the care, safety, comfort & happiness of the residents. They are professional & yet approachable in a relaxed setting. The common areas are always clean & the dining experience is nice, too. I highly recommend Story Point for independent/senior living.

My 93 year old dad moved in a month ago. It was too dangerous for him to live at home (memory issues). The move happened quickly, out of necessity. The Wellness Center did an assessment and he was still eligible for assisted living. Everyone has been so welcoming. They have residents that have shown him the ropes. The nursing staff (24/7) and caregivers (24/7) have been very kind, thorough and responsive. He actually wears a safety button (not for me). He pushes it when he needs anything. He gets three excellent meals a day. laundry done, assistance with showering and medicine. He just started physical and occupation therapy. It's such a lovely apartment and environment. There are so many daily activities, even off of the grounds. Dad's adjustment has gone much better than I thought. I knows he's in excellent hands and I don't have to WORRY.

My dad moved here on a trial basis after he could no longer live alone. He moved 150 miles from the city he lived in all his life to be close to two of his four daughters. After a month at Danbury he agreed to sell his house and move in permanently. He has made new friends there and never eats a meal alone. The meals are delicious and keep him full. He enjoys being able to get physical therapy in-house. Although there are so many activities he has never tried (despite encouragement), he does enjoy Friday afternoon happy hour. He has family members visit frequently and we have been able to use various spaces in the facility to gather. All of the staff members there are great including the servers, cleaning people, nurses, and administrative staff. Staff members seem to like their jobs and enjoy spending time with the residents. The whole family is glad that our dad found a welcoming, warm home at Danbury.

My mom cannot stop raving about the concierge. Always so welcoming and just a smiling face to greet you whenever you walk in. I think his name is [name removed]. That [name removed] lady who gave us a tour was super informative and was able to answer all of our questions! Great place to live.

My family and I put my grandmother in memory care almost a year ago and it was the best decision we've ever made. Not only does she receive quality care from compassionate and loving care staff, but she also attends wonderful activities daily and even outings on weekly! We feel peace of mind knowing that our grandmother is loved and taken care of.

I was in a pinch my aunt fell and it had become clear that she could no longer stay by herself. I literally called Stonegate - they had an availability and we placed her within a day. I found Stonegate to be like a large family apartment. The common areas and rooms were inviting and clean. The staff was very accommodating. I felt that they treated my aunt with dignity and respect. This facility isn't the cheapest by any means but for her stay there we were so glad that she was safe.

I cannot emphasize enough the tremendous care and support provided to my mother by this facility. Mom, unfortunately, was in residence for only a handful of months. She had insisted she be cared for in her house (fearful of "those places") until it got to the point we didn't consider that safe/sufficient. Once moved in, mom herself started referring to her apartment as "home" and stated she loved being there. The staff, from administration to wellness to custodians, to a person, where kind, attentive and caring. One example amongst many… my son and significant other purchased her a plant… robust and needing little care beyond watering. During an extended absence (hospital stay and rehab) the room was cleaned… expected… and some gracious soul watered the plant (even updating the sticky note with the date) for her. Again… I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are to Independence Village of White Lake. Thank you eternally…

Nice building with friendly, smiling faces. The pool and gym are nice additions to an already beautiful community. My favorite place is the area with the pinball machines. The games are nice touches to the lounge areas and allows my kids to hang and enjoy fun time with the grands.

StoryPoint Cordova is a very beautiful community with nice amenities and very pleasant staff. I am always greeted with a smile and offered the utmost hospitality. Their efforts mean the most and we truly appreciate the care.
