Independence Village has a wonderful caring staff that goes above and beyond to take care of my dad. He gets 3 good meals a day, laundry service, bed linen’s changed weekly and periodic nurse visits. The staff is very good at keeping me informed about any problems, issues or concerns they have with my dad health. We are very grateful and happy that dad is getting such good care at Independence Village.

It is a beautiful facility. My Ex seems quite happy there and is no longer isolated, which before was his choosing. He enjoys the staff for the most part I would say his biggest complaint is the food, which seems to change, depending on who the chef is. He was really happy in the beginning, but not so much now I have had difficulty getting answers on some of the financial stuff because I'm helping him out with that. Activities change so that does shift people's involvement but no one is pressured. Plus our two golden retrievers love their new friends!

I am not confident assessing the care [name removed] got because he was in such bad shape, as were other residents in the memory unit. I do believe your facility did the very best possible, but for me and probably other residents' family members the whole situation is really sad and extremely difficult. There are no answers for how to make things better. One tangible negative is with the security at the entrances. Having to wait to be let in while being highly stressed out was super frustrating. But I realize the importance of security, and I appreciate and understand that resident care takes priority over "manning the door(s)". So with that I think everyone did the best possible.

She seems to be doing fine now. We had a bumpy start. I like that they have in house services. They are very good about helping them stay independent as long as possible. The only complaint is the food .

Springvale is a very nice place. I like the roast beef and mashed potatoes, desserts are very good too. Care staff are very kind, and genuine. I really like the Life Enrichment gal, [name removed]. I like that they have a close bathroom to the living room so I don’t have to walk back to my apartment. I like Springvale and all the people I know.

Springvale is a very nice building. I like my apartment, it has a nice patio so I can sit outside and enjoy the sun. The staff are nice, and the food is good. I am meeting new friends and learned how to play a new card game.

We are so thankful for Storypoint! Dad has been living at Storypoint for over two years, and the staff is top notch! All of the team members go out of their way to make him feel at home! I highly recommend Storypoint!

I am new to the community, my apartment is very nice, I was able to put my personal touch to it. I have a patio that I will enjoy sitting outside. I have met some new friends and really enjoy the food.

The building is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed—plenty of natural light and cozy common areas. The staff are warm, caring and friendly. Their dedication to their residents is evident. Highly recommend StoryPoint to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable senior living care.

I visited Storypoint recently. The staff was welcoming, the community was clean and the residents were fantastic! Everyone is always smiling. I was excitedly greeted by one resident, who is part of the welcome committee, and he told me all about how much he loves living here. It made me feel good that the residents had great feedback about StoryPoint!

The move for my mother in law has been the best thing that could have happened. As age has caught up fast, she has been in need of a little motivation and boy does she get it here! She participates in so many activities, things we didn’t even know she would be interested in and the socialization that comes w the activities has been more than medicinal-it’s been magical.

This is mom's first time in assisted care and the transition to a new place went well. The staff is caring and visible in the facility. The response time is better than anything I've seen at a care facility. Mom enjoys the meals and the kitchen can support feeding friends and family with notice. The facility has 20 units and is staffed appropriately. It is located in a small, friendly town in southwest Michigan.

With time to spare, I visit a friend who works at StoryPoint. The atmosphere was beautiful. Everything was nice, clean and neatly placed Even the pillows have been fluffed. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. While visiting my friend, I took notice of how the staff interacted with the Residents. I heard compliments & saw hugs giving. It warm my heart because I've worked with seniors before and haven't seen this in other facilities because it was a Saturday I got to play Bingo.

I visit the facility weekly. Staff is always polite and helpful. Facility activities is always fun. I visit multiple residents and never hear any complaints from residents. Residents always seem happy to be there. I like the rooms it feels like home.

This is a great place for your loved one. The staff are all kind and attentive to the residents needs. So many fun activities and the building is always clean. The food is consistently good and I'm always offered food when I visit.

My siblings and I did much research and went to many places before we moved my Mom to Memphis. Story Point in East Memphis was the most impressive by far. My Mom has now been there for 1-1/2 years. She loves it, and we do too! The facility is beautiful and is kept spotless. The staff is the best I’ve seen anywhere, from administrators to the nursing, front desk, physical therapy, maintenance, dining and assistant/care staffing. The activities director is wonderful and keeps the residents motivated and having fun. My family could not give any higher praise to StoryPoint East Memphis. Wonderful place!!

I'm been here for a couple of years and I'm so please with the facility and staff. A great place to live. There is always great entertainment outings and you can always meet new people. Our activity director is awesome please stop by anytime to meet him you are always welcome here.

We love it at Danbury! Mom is adjusting well. My mom is memory care, but she gets a lot of attention and the activity directors are great coming up with things. They have programs like performers. They had a therapy dog in yesterday. Mom seems to like the food too. She's been there almost 3 months now. She has her own room. They clean and do her laundry. All the staff is very nice!! Nurses, aides, front desk, and kitchen staff. You name it.

We certainly are not giving up first place with our mom, but Danbury Senior Living of Mount Vernon has earned "second family" status with both mom and her children. She is well cared for and loved in every way. They even love her family and friends!
